My party was split on the texture, with some disliking how dense and heavy it tasted. I personally did not find it dry or overly crumbly. The cherry flavor was light, and it colored the dough nicely and paired well with a darker beverage. *Caramel Coconut Chocolate Chip: subtle coconut shavings with barely noticeable caramel.
