I was disappointed to say the least. When I scooped that strawberry shortcake goodness onto my FroGurt I was filled with Glee, that is, until I realized that there was a cocoa pebble hidden in the mix. Not only did this hurt my soul, but my FroGurt was meticulously constructed to have an overall fruit theme, which it could not longer have. I hope that others who endeavor to get FroGurt from SweetFrog take this incident into account. read more

The yogurt is fine. This particular location has a consistently dirty floor and broken machines. The stated closing time is 9 PM, however, when we arrived at 8:20 PM, chairs were stacked for closing. Once we got our yogurt, we grabbed some chairs to sit down (as one does with frozen yogurt), and one of the employees was flabbergasted that we would dare sit down over 30 minutes before closing time. She stopped her conversation with her non-employee friend and admonished us for taking chairs, reminding us that closing time was "soon" (again, 30 minutes from that time), and then stormed off in a mood. I've worked closing shifts, if she is working close expecting to walk out of the door at 9 PM, she should reassess her choice to work there. read more

Lackadaisical and dismissive staff; broken machines (the regular tart flavor, busted, two separate visits two weeks apart); one of the dirtiest, grossest floors I've ever seen (they saved all their sweeping for closing); a full outdoor garbage can chock full of RATS (in the summer during the day, it is full of bees and wasps); and the building is adjacent to four constantly overflowing dumpsters. The place seems to be in the running as the next Wuhan Wet Market. Forget SweetFrog - It's more like Vector Frog. I bought five ice creams for my kids and I. When we got home my 8 month old was eating the ice cream. Everything was fine until I tried it. The Ice cream tasted like BLEACH !! I have my own cleaning company so I am familiar with the smell. It blew my mind!! If I could give this place negative ratings I would ! I understand they probably cleaned their machines but it is unacceptable to have a bleach tasting ice cream especially when I'm feeding it to my 8 month old son !! That is crazy ! This place must be shut down for immediate inspection! How does something like this slip. This is the product you are serving that goes into kids body's! Definitely struggling. Four Corners location used to be good, but doesn't seem to care any more. 2 or 3 machines marked Out of Order, while 1 or 2 other machines dispensing a thin, soupy goo. Toppings are okay until you try to pump caramel or fudge sauce. Several pumps only yield small splatters. Pointing this out to the attendant results in the observation, " They must be empty." Sweet frog must be under new management because the place is filthy. The broken front door handle was probably a bad sign. I brought my son in for a post game yogurt. We entered the restroom to wash up and turned around. It was repulsive. The counters and loors were dirty. We ended up ordering to go. Clean, shiny, and tasty. I like the original tart flavor with berries and mango. Could use a slightly richer selection of berries (rasp as well as black and blue) but it might be the season. Also like the mango-flavored "poppers" (boba) that look like salmon roe but taste yummy. I really love this yogurt spot! I'm a fro-yo lover and this is the best place in the area, in my opinion. Not just Sweet Frog in general, but THIS, Sweet Frog. The one in Wheaton isn't as great. This location always have tons of fresh toppings, it's always extremely clean, very inexpensive, and have a military/ems/police discount as well. Another fun fact is they frequently alway people to have fundraisers where they donate to the organizations cause. I think I remember seeing a sign about face painting too. All in all, this a quality ran business with friendly staff and delicious product! read more

We tried Sweet Frog for the first time a week ago and were very impressed! Neither of us had ever frequented a yogurt dealer before. When we walked in we really had no clue what to do. The cashier on staff immediately could tell we were lost and kindly explained to us what we needed to do. We got the chance to try many different yogurt flavors for free through their sampler cups. The quality was so great we felt like we wanted to have all of them in one cup. The favorites were the caramel candy and Oreo cookie flavors. Our tab for two large yogurt cups was quite what we would expect it to be. Seating was cozy, parking aplenty, and the environment inviting. We can't wait for our newborn son to be old enough to go with us and be part of the sweet thrill of awesome Sweet Frog yogurt. read more

I agree with the other 2-star reviewer. after 2 visits, I've determined that this location is not as nice as the location in White Oak. The variety of flavors are missing along with one of my favorite toppings. Plus it's super noisy, but perhaps it seemed noisy because of its small location Visit 1 - I arrived at 8:30pm, yet when I attempted to get to the plain yogurt, one of the employees asked me to get flavors from the other dispensers because she was getting ready to clean that dispenser. What? it's 8:30 and according to your sign, you close at 9pm. So I left with nothing. Visit 2 - When I asked the cashier about the missing topping (walnuts with caramel), This is a popular topping at most ice cream and yogurt shops. Yet, she looked puzzled and not eager to answer. The sad part is that I live in the neighborhood directly behind this location, so it's within walking distance. But I will not revisit this location.. 2 strikes...you're out. Update 6/2017: Visit 3 - They now have the Carmel walnuts...yesssss. However, there were 2 machines that were out of yogurt. For such a small location with fewer flavors than a larger establishment, you'd think that they would have enough yogurt or at least offer additional flavors as a replacement. But other than that customer service is a huge improvement and the place is very clean. read more

This Silver Spring Sweet Frog is much closer to my house then the other one in Silver Spring but it is not as nice. There is much less variety of flavors and toppings. Two of my favorite toppings were missing. I asked the lady behind the counter about them because they are available at the other store, and she said "no one likes those toppings." Ok well I like them! Plus the "hot fudge" was not hot fudge but merely chocolate syrup. Gross. I asked if there was a suggestion box, or a way to make kind suggestions but she said there was not. My favorite Sweet Frog! They had a lot of unique flavors I haven't seen and even good mixes. The toppings were plentiful, probably double what I've seen at other places. It was a lot to choose from! I even came up with a little trick... If you fill your cup half way and put toppings on it THEN put more froyo, THEN more toppings. BOOM. You get toppings in every bite or you can kind of switch it up a bit, whatever your little sweet heart desires. Staff is just as sweet ;) read more

Right near my house, all the flavors are non-fat...even though I'm not an icecream/froyo fan, it's kind of hard to resist a try. The employees were very friendly and warm, such a happy surprise to meet actual FRIENDLY teenagers. They indulged all the freeloading neighborhood kids, who were pretty open with their goal to try all the flavors without paying...that was pretty amusing. The place was very clean and the only complaint I had was that they were out of hot fudge and they didn't label one of the spoons and I accidentally put mystery candy (chocolate covered potato chips, i found out later) on my froyo and it was not too tasty I'll def hit this place up again with my friends...closer and healthier alternative to ben and jerrys and coldstone in DTSS. read more
