Located at the entrance of Westfield, Gelatissimo offers a tantalising variety of gelato, sundae's, rich chocolates, coffee and biscotti. For those who have special dietary requirements, Gelatissimo also offer a range of gluten and dairy free products. I don't usually bother with the coffee and biscotti, so I can't say much for the quality of these items, but after sampling about half the flavours on offer, I can safely say that Gelatissimo's gelato is delicious. From your traditional Chocolate and Lemon, to the more sophisticated Caramalised Fig and Honey Toffee Malt (my favourite), Gelatissimo's vast range of flavours will please even the most fussy eater. Customer service is average and disinterested, but when you're scooping ice cream all day, I guess there isn't too much to get excited about. My only other complaint is Gelatissimo's prices, which are pretty steep. Three scoops of gelato will cost you about the same as a meal from a fast food joint, if not more, depending on what size you choose. Gelatissimo has great gelato at premium prices. So the next time you need to cool down, check it out and grab a cone (or tub).

This nice little corner gelato place had excellent options and even though I didn't try their cakes I am pretty sure those were really good too. 5 stars all the way. Parramatta the area has some really nice restaurants and if you venture out here give Messina a try.

First things first: the staff was incredible. We went to order two 1.5L tubs of ice cream (max of 5 flavors each) and we tried A LOT of flavors before deciding. I'm talking give or take 20 flavor samples-- and the star m staff never batted an eye. They were courteous and generous and put up with one of our group explicitly asking for a sample large enough for the three of us to share. Now the actual gelato: we got mango, raspberry, coconut lychee, pistachio, macadamia nut crunch, pear and rhubarb. The mango and macadamia were the stars for our group by far, though honorable mentions to the pistachio and pear+rhubarb. I personally thought all of them other than the mango were excellent, with the macadamia being my favorite. It was nutty and sweet with a cookie like crunch in there somewhere. Amazing. I spent my entire last week trying to get back here for more gelato and never was able to. Do yourself a favor and go out of your way to get some Messina if you're in Sydney.

Last time i was here i had a tasty dinner next door at Antico pizza and then came over here for dessert, got me caramel fusge crepes and choc fudge brownie, both were super tasty more so the crepe cause I'm a pancake kinda guy :D!! This time around i got the weekly special frozen custard which was butterscotch and i got some mix its tossed in with it :). Just like cold rock but with Frozen custard, also got a gooey fudge caramely cookie in a skillet with vanilla custard on the side :D!! Truth be told I'm a big eater but even this tasty cookie felt a bit heavy on the hips lucky for 2 mates to help me out with it :)! The girls that work there are super friendly and very keen to help your way aroun the menu on what they have on offer :) By the way the coffee is nothing to write home about .. but you would be much better off with a juice, soft drink or their tasty thick shake mixes they have on offer :)!! For the totally different as per usual dessert place but yet very tasty dessert it is an easy 4 stars for me, definitely my got to sweetness treat for my many more adventures out in the western side :D!!

Their custards are ok, it's nice that you can add whatever you want to them to make them a wee bit more interesting. However I would stick with their custards and don't deviate from that. My partner wanted a frozen custard the other night and I thought I'd love a hot chocolate because I was cold. What I got was hot water with powdered chocolate in it. No milk. It was disgusting. So bear in mind when you go here to just get what they are known for. Custard. You should be fine with that.

I found the other flavours I tried too sweet and/or artificial, and they barely tasted like yoghurt. What I did like, however, was the overall quality of their toppings. I especially liked their mochi, nuts, and fruit toppings. I wouldn't go back, but I wish them well.

I was also pleasanlty surprised that their prices were pretty reasonable. The milkshake was $10 AUD and the soft serve was $7 AUD. The milkshake came out pretty quickly and was so cute. It was in a mason jar with chocolate sauce and then a tella ball doughnut on top. You could pick any doughnut you want for the top. The milkshake was chocolatey and not too thick which was nice as it was pretty big. The doughnut is not too huge, so much more manageable than doughnut time. Also, you can ask for a to go cup or box if you can't finish it! The soft serve was a bit messier but so worth it. The doughnut cone was deep fried and covered in sugar and then stuffed with nutella and then had nutella soft serve in it. The combination of nutella and soft serve was delicious. The cone was also really good and very filling. Definitely worth visiting for any nutella lover!

The staff are also really great - friendly and interested in their customers. Add to that flavour list - chocolate rum baba! Bellingen don't do all the theatrics or trendy flavors that you get in other stores and that make them such social media hits, but if you want the real thing, this is it.
