They are stuffed, battered, deep fried, and then covered in butter. Problem is that the menu says baked so we were not expecting them to be covered in fish fry. Also the fish fry was the only part of it that was seasoned. Also for the price you only got 3. For the same price you get 5 at Longhorn and 6 at Carrabba's. Fries: 0/10. They were not fully cooked. I don't mean: "I like mine crispy and those were soft" under cooked. I mean if they require 7 minutes in the fryer they were down for like 3-4 minutes tops. Side salad: 6/10. Basic side salad. Penne pasta w/ Alfredo sauce and grilled chicken: 3/10. The chicken was flavorful and had some char on it which I liked. The problem is, that was the only thing that was hot. When I moved my dish it felt cold. The pasta and sauce were barely warm. Did I bring any of this to the attention of the staff? No. When you screw up this many things to that level, you're probably not going to be able to correct it. Hopefully I can find another nice restaurant around. Looks like I may have to go to Slidell. My bill was a few cents short of $90. For that quality at that price I'm not going back even for a free meal.

So we popped in last night about 7 and we were slightly underdressed but the staff didn't seem to mind. We ordered some drinks and they were quick to the table. We pondered over the menu but there was a chef's special with a soup, entree, and dessert. We both went with the seafood gumbo, the beef tenderloin, and small dessert (something à la mode). Everything including the side salad we ordered extra was delicious. Really great atmosphere, service, and food. I would absolutely recommend.
