Red Bean purple rice yogurt drink with 70% sugar
    Jahnavi U.

I stopped by this place after dinner tonight to try another yogurt drink. This time I chose Red Bean purple rice yogurt drink with 70% sugar. The employee made it pretty quickly. I tried the drink right away and it was yummy. I stopped by this place at 8:44 PM tonight and it is Monday so I'm not surprised that it wasn't crowded. The ambiance is always nice and cool here. If you plan to buy their drinks often, ask for a stamp card. I got one when I stopped in the first time. I got my card stamped tonight. I'm 8 drinks away from a free one. Yay!

The drinks here are very good! I got the Mango Pomelo Sago Yogurt Smoothie which was sweet and made with fresh fruit and tangy yogurt. It's like a dessert and drink mixed together. The Genki Forest Lemon Green Tea is a good choice for a refreshing fruity sweet and slightly sour beverage. For a snack, my friend and I got the 4 in 1 which came with fries, chicken nuggets, and fried calamari. It is also supposed to have spring rolls, but they ran out the day we went. The fries were really yummy! The staff were all so kind and gave us recommendations. There is also lots of seating inside.

Very cute interior, loved the hanging chair and the adorable bears. I'm not the biggest fan of yogurt in the first place, but my mom wanted to give the place a try. We ordered the oat yogurt and popcorn chicken combo. I didn't like the drink, but my mom thought it was okay. We would come back to try a different drink. I loved the popcorn chicken though. I hate pieces with tendon or too much fat, and this was the perfect popcorn chicken for me. I hope they add different flavor options in the future. The cashier was super nice and friendly. The adorable decorations, popcorn chicken, and service bumped my rating from 3 to 4.

    Love the "straw-to-my-berry"!

New Yogurt Shop with a spin. Interesting concept... love the fruit selection + yogurt drinks but beyond that, not really my cup of tea... or in this case... yogurt! We've tried their signature "purple rice yogurt", too heavy for me... the flavor was ok, just not for me since I prefer my drinks to be smoothie like vs. thick carb through a straw. lol Then we tried the jujube oats yogurt... again, quite heavy for a drink... perhaps it's meant as a meal supplement (?) who knows... but there were too many crushed pits inside the drink to be enjoyable. I cannot chew on "pits" and pretend it's cool and just chug it... nope... can't do it. As for the fruit version - we tried the strawberry + yogurt, this one I liked very much! Exactly like a smoothie. Sweet and smooth, good combo. Our worse reaction has to be their "Black Sesame + Yogurt"... this combination was awful! Tasted terrible. It's like the black sesame was fighting off the yogurt and lost... and it spoiled. Really bad combo - sweet, smokey yet sour? Will not order this again. We were definitely not fans of this odd flavor. But hey, others may feel differently (maybe black sesame fans?). #newspot #yogurtshop #yelplife

Was doubtful about a yogurt drink but it's actually so good. Slightly tangy because of the yogurt but nothing crazy. Had the purple rice and yogurt drink as well as mango sago drink. The mango is on the pricier side but I think they use real fruit and it's so so good. Definitely recommend to try this out - you can also adjust the sugar level!

OKAY, WTF IS THE HATE. Ive been waiting for them to open for the last month... I love yogurt drinks. Yomies tasted super fresh and was very refreshing. The first sip reminds me of summer. It also surprisingly super filling, and more thick than I expected, similar to a smoothie. I got the papaya flavor and my best friend got the grape one, i felt like we chose the least flavorful fruit (lol), so it made sense that the yogurt taste was overpowering. Im definitely getting the other choices next time because they have so many options! (Im ready for strawberry, peach, DURIAN!!) I see other yelpers saying the operations were bad BUT i felt like i got my drink pretty quickly! The ladies are also very sweet!

Passionfruit, korean melon: fruit tea series

2 person army. It wasn't busy at all on a Sunday evening. Was craving for something sweet after dinner so thought about this new yogurt tea joint on 86th Street. To say the least, yogurt with fruits might sounds good but actually have a drink mased out of it is another story. I had the Melon Melon yogurt series. Taste was a bit weird to me. A little sweet but also sour with a creamy texture I thought was a bit weird. I actually switch it was ny daughter's choice of the passionfruit green tea. I love the passionfruit green tea. It was so refreshing a bit sour from the fresh pulp of passionfruit seeds. Love playing with the seeds in my mouth. Lol. But a bit if advise for you is if you do not like sour seeds in your drink then this drink is not for you. They even have 3 slices of lime for the added sourness. Refreshing for me. My some had the straw to be berry which I has a sip of was a bit better than the Melon Melon. The strawberry yogurt was more sweet and didn't taste alot of the yogurt. Then hubby had the Koren Melon tea which was refreshing also. I am impartial to fruit teas so I would just get the fruit tea series both I found refreshing. But for the yogurt series, just too strong of yogurt and not a fan of the thick consistency as a beverage.

I wanted to try this place when they first opened in Flushing but it was too far. Flash forward a couple of months and they conveniently open a branch on 86th street yay!! I've had purple rice drinks before and am a fan so I knew I had to try their signature purple rice yogurt smoothie. Did not disappoint at all! Perfectly thick, tangy and chewy. The red bean oats yogurt smoothie wasn't bad either. The red bean made it a bit sweeter. Also got the mango yogurt smoothie but wasn't a fan. Would recommend sticking with the purple rice options. I notice a lot of reviews here complaining about the wait time but I came here midday on a weekday and waited less than 10 mins. Service could've been nicer. I had a 20% off yelp check in offer that was flat out denied because they were "still negotiating with the company". The drinks are kinda pricey but worth a try or as an occasional treat.

Delicious. We got the mango sago pomelo yogurt drink with less sugar. My mom loved it so much she chugged it down. A little pricey though at $7.95.

Been wanting to try this place but their Flushing location was too far for me. Finally got my chance to try their purple rice yogurt drink at this Bensonhurst location. The purple rice yogurt drink was good, but a bit expensive ($7.08 for a medium one). The first sip was a punch of yogurt on my face as I forgot to mix well and then I started liking it afterwards. The drink was definitely filling, felt like a whole meal.

Really enjoyed the sour yogurt flavor in the purple rice yogurt! It reminded me of similar flavors in froyo except not as sweet. I also appreciate how sugar levels can be adjusted. My purple rice yogurt was a little icy and could've used a little more blending, but looking forward to trying more things on their menu - esp in the summer time. Staff were friendly and the store was clean and bright.

Nothing fancy but good flavors. It's Greek yogurt, sweetener and ice blended and the mixed with whatever mix ins you choose. Service is a little curt and there's a $10 credit card minimum.

I mean its yogurt and rice. Like you cant really go wrong with this. They also have a kiosk to pay if you don't want to interact with a human. Parking is absolute anus here. It's terrible finding a spot. Ambiance? Uh don't go on a date here it's not romantic? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

And I'm glad I did! I ordered the Fresh Strawberry Slush Tea, Mars Dirty Tea and Thai Fresh Milk Tea With Bubble. Fresh Strawberry Slush Tea The strawberry slush was certainly made with real strawberries, though probably frozen instead of fresh. It had the signature seed grit and chunks here and there. Just know that the bitter tea will cut through the strawberry. Thai Fresh Milk Tea With Bubble This is Mars Tea's take on Thai Ice Tea. It tasted pretty good! Mars Dirty Tea Unfortunately it didn't travel well, but that's not a surprise. Dirty Tea is only visually appearing right when they serve it! Of course, it'll taste just as great no matter when you get around to it. Just stir up the sugar and get that sweet sweet high.

The staff was really accommodating and the prices per hour are very affordable. We picked out some familiar games like Exploding Kittens, Catan, Jenga and Scrabble, but also a handful of new games mostly made by the same company who created Exploding Kittens. Those games are always fair and easy to learn. We ended up liking Throw Throw Burrito so much we purchased the game for ourselves at Target so we could have it for our weekend family trip. We also ordered a handful of bites, like popcorn chicken, fries, and bubble tea. The food is nothing to write home about, but food is not the reason most people visit Next Move Cafe. For a fun day of gaming with a small group, consider NMC, where the prices are low, the games are plentiful, and the staff is ultra sweet.

The star of the show: purple yam souffle with vanilla ice cream is chefs kiss!! I thought I couldn't like any dessert more than their chocolate molten lava cake but this one definitely takes the spot. Top two desserts they have! Even when I had lava cakes at fancy establishments, it doesn't hold a candle to prince tea house! Their crepe cakes are also alright but I've found the to be less unique and enjoyable especially the brown sugar boba which sometimes comes out in clumps hard to pour onto the cake. Their food selection is decent for sandwiches like chicken katsu and also fries. Their fruity teas aren't my style but their hot milk teas are amazing. The lavender green tea was more green tea which was disappointing, hoped to taste more lavender. The best one is the rose lovers milk tea, literally perfection each time. Unfortunately, this place may no longer be my usual. My favorite part of this place is that the serves don't really care about you in the sense that the bring you food and leave you alone. However, they now impose mandatory 20% tip on all tables even for table of 1 or 2. This location only. As someone who realizes the servers here simply bring food and nothing else here (which I actually love as I don't like to be bothered) but expect a high mandatory tip, this is not the way to go. Especially since there have been numerous occasions where servers are nowhere to be seen and refuse to service you for something as simple as napkins or a check if they're not your server, this is an absurd addition. Definitely visiting less now that this happened. The most bothersome is that it's mandatory. Doesn't seem right/ethical and makes it feel less genuine. Had the pleasure of visiting other prince tea house locations and the service seems better, even water without asking, surprising cash discount, and most importantly: don't impose this mandatory tip! Not sure what changed here but not what it used to be with this and it needs to change.
