My very first drink was their purple rice drink as recommended by the staff but it was not to my liking. My mom, daughter, and I, especially like their black sesame yogurt with no sugar. At first, I worried that it would be somewhat bitter since I find black sesame paste to be bitter without any sugar but nope, it was great. We have tried the strawberry yogurt with no sugar. Was not smart of me. Too sour. The mango yogurt was good. My sister liked it. She and my dad also likes the durian. I am not a durian fan so I cannot comment on it. It is great that they now have different sizes! I can get a large to share with my daughter. Do not forget to ask for their stamp card! Fill it up and earn yourself a free drink! read more

I personally didn't like the drink too much, it's too filling and thick and not particularly good tasting either. Especially with the purple rice added, made the drink almost unbearable for me. The drinks here are very good! I got the Mango Pomelo Sago Yogurt Smoothie which was sweet and made with fresh fruit and tangy yogurt. It's like a dessert and drink mixed together. The Genki Forest Lemon Green Tea is a good choice for a refreshing fruity sweet and slightly sour beverage. For a snack, my friend and I got the 4 in 1 which came with fries, chicken nuggets, and fried calamari. It is also supposed to have spring rolls, but they ran out the day we went. New Yogurt Shop with a spin. Interesting concept... love the fruit selection + yogurt drinks but beyond that, not really my cup of tea... or in this case... yogurt! We've tried their signature "purple rice yogurt", too heavy for me... the flavor was ok, just not for me since I prefer my drinks to be smoothie like vs. thick carb through a straw. lol Then we tried the jujube oats yogurt... again, quite heavy for a drink... perhaps it's meant as a meal supplement (?) who knows... but there were too many crushed pits inside the drink to be enjoyable. Was doubtful about a yogurt drink but it's actually so good. Slightly tangy because of the yogurt but nothing crazy. Had the purple rice and yogurt drink as well as mango sago drink. The mango is on the pricier side but I think they use real fruit and it's so so good. Definitely recommend to try this out - you can also adjust the sugar level! read more

OKAY, WTF IS THE HATE. Ive been waiting for them to open for the last month... I love yogurt drinks. Yomies tasted super fresh and was very refreshing. The first sip reminds me of summer. It also surprisingly super filling, and more thick than I expected, similar to a smoothie. I got the papaya flavor and my best friend got the grape one, i felt like we chose the least flavorful fruit (lol), so it made sense that the yogurt taste was overpowering. Im definitely getting the other choices next time because they have so many options! (Im ready for strawberry, peach, DURIAN!!) To say the least, yogurt with fruits might sounds good but actually have a drink mased out of it is another story. I had the Melon Melon yogurt series. Taste was a bit weird to me. A little sweet but also sour with a creamy texture I thought was a bit weird. I actually switch it was ny daughter's choice of the passionfruit green tea. I love the passionfruit green tea. It was so refreshing a bit sour from the fresh pulp of passionfruit seeds. Love playing with the seeds in my mouth. Lol. But a bit if advise for you is if you do not like sour seeds in your drink then this drink is not for you. They even have 3 slices of lime for the added sourness. Refreshing for me. My some had the straw to be berry which I has a sip of was a bit better than the Melon Melon. The strawberry yogurt was more sweet and didn't taste alot of the yogurt. Then hubby had the Koren Melon tea which was refreshing also. I am impartial to fruit teas so I would just get the fruit tea series both I found refreshing. I learned about Yomie's through IG though for the longest time it was only available in Flushing. I didn't realize they opened a Brooklyn location too so once I spotted it I had to try it! I ordered the Purple Rice Yogurt ($6.50) and the Mango Yogurt ($6.75), the former of which was my favorite. I felt the sweet vanilla yogurt flavor was more pronounced in the purple rice drink and the rice bits provided a deliciously savory undernote to the drink. I have been wanting to try this place for a while now! There are multiple franchises in Queens but it is way too far to travel just for a drink, so I was ecstatic to find out there was one on 86th street! I got the pink fleshy peach fruit yogurt & the durian yogurt. The peach yogurt is nice and refreshing but super addictive! It is not too sweet or sour so it was good. The durian yogurt is my personal favorite (only because I am super biased towards durian haha). It is a much thicker consistency than the other drinks they have, but the thickness compliments the durian really well. My only complaint about this location are the staff. They are a bit unfriendly and can come off a little rude (hence why the 4 stars instead of 5). Definitely call ahead of time for them to make your drinks or be prepared to wait 20+ minutes. read more

I ordered 2 drinks with less sugar and when I drank it, it tasted so sour because it didnt have sugar AT ALL. I had to drive back and tell them to add sugar. A sweet, creamy and grainy texture and it did cool off my stomach from the sweltering heat. The drink is really chunky and it does take a while to finish so be prepared for that. The yogurt gives it a thicker consistency with a slight tanginess that pairs well with our choices since the seeds of the passion fruit and strawberry adds a nice texture. They use fresh fruits which is awesome! The purple rice had a good texture to it to that breaks the smoothness of the yogurt smoothie. It really fills you up too! Finding this place on a random stroll, my friend and I decided to give it a try after seeing that their probiotic drinks are made with rice and yogurt. A very new to us concoction. This shop originated from Australia - I first tried it in 2020 and was obsessed with it - been missing it ever since because it's not found anywhere in nyc. Fast foward to 2022, and they finally opened two shops in NY. I asked the woman at the cashier how long they've been open and she told me they've been open for ten days now. I ordered the mango yogurt and the honeydew smoothie. My boyfriend and I were the only ones in there besides the workers however there were also delivery drivers coming in to pick up orders as well. Got the drinks in about 10 minutes and they have a machine that calls out your order number. The mango yogurt drink is creamy and tart, and I liked chewing on the mango bits. They use all fresh fruit and have a fridge with all their fruits they use. The honeydew smoothie was really good and has green tea in it as well. Store is still fairly clean, with three people working and no customer sitting in. Got my drink within 5 mins and left. Staff were nice and asked if i wanted my drink in a bag. When i got home, i dropped the drink within the bag on the floor. It was a small drop. That small drop caused a large cut on the cup and my drink started leaking. I was shocked and surprised this happened to a $7 drink. Drinks from kung fu or tiger sugar never had this before. I dropped those drink hard on the ground too.
