Great new board game cafe for a chill weekend with friends and family when you need to stay indoors especially for this winter! This cafe has a great selection of games - I stayed here for a whole afternoon and played a bunch of games. They also serve snacks and drinks so if you get hungry you don't have to leave to find food! I loved that for the bubble teas they serve them in a sealed top that shaped like a face, super funny. Recommend this for a fun things to do in nyc that is indoors and won't break the bank! Hidden gem! Check out more recommendations on instagram: @alice.likes.food

What a fabulous addition to Bensonhurst! The cafe is located upstairs. You will feel like you entered an after school club right as you climb your last step. We were immediately greeted with the sweetest worker who made our first stay so welcoming, explaining their promotions and finding a specific game for us. Admission was $10 Mondays-Thursdays, and then $12 Friday-Sunday for 3 hour gameplay. Whenever you buy, you gain points towards their rewards points system, which honestly felt so legit and cool. If it's your first time, take advantage of their 1st time welcome wheel, where you join their free rewards program in exchange for winning a free drink, fries, admission, and more! The board game selection was the best I've seen so far. I saw a lot of familiar games, with so many cool sounding new ones that I wish I had time to learn them all. The drinks were nothing special, but they tasted accurate to their names. My Medium Strawberry Green Tea ($5) made great accompaniment to my time there. A more unique factor was their food selection. There were some enticing picks, including kimbap. After school club, I'm telling you. Lastly, if you leave a honest review on Google, you can get a free item. I left with a cute sturdy merch tote bag. I felt like a kid all over again playing games here with friends. You will most definitely see myself coming back to play more games and try their snacks!

Next Move Cafe is a hidden gem in Bensonhurst! I stumbled upon this place one day after eating dinner with a bunch of friends (when we couldn't find anything else to do but didn't want to go home quite yet) and it has been a staple ever since. They have a huge variety of board games, snacks, and drinks! Their iced peach black tea is a favorite of mine - dare I say even better than the other well known tea spots in the area? During my visits, I sampled the Cajun fries and the mozzarella sticks. They were both large portions and great for sharing with a group! I would definitely recommend this place for group gatherings, a bday party, or even a date night. The service is always great and the staff are more than happy to assist you with any board games you may need help with, and they will even bring your food/drink order over to you while you're gaming. Overall - The place is spotless, they have a large amount of board games all in excellent condition, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful, and the food/drinks are amazing. They even have merchandise for sale and a rewards program! Next Move Cafe is a diamond in the rough - definitely one of my favorite places in Bensonhurst. The only things I would recommend? More dessert options, and more events for locals to meet up!

Been hearing about this place for years and finally came. It was pretty empty when we arrived at 2pm but was packed by 3pm. They price by the day of the week. You get 3 hours of play time for the price. It was $10 for me. There wasn't a welcome wheel when I went. I'm not a board game person so can't comment on their variety and selection. I was happy playing multiple games while there. More importantly I think having an establishment like this in the neighborhood is really healthy. It's not that expensive and is a proper fun activity for teenagers. This is a great activity in between lunch and dinner or after dinner. I see they have a private room. Wonder if you can/need to book that in advance. Areas of improvement: The decor can be freshened up. Everything seems a bit old and worn. I was slightly disturbed hearing them prepare some of the drinks. I couldn't see what exact drink or step they were doing but I kept on thinking there's a flood going on. My friend didn't like the smell of their cleaning supplies. It made the playing area smell like a bathroom (it didn't bother me). I also wish they would label the shelves with game type so it'll be easier to browse around. I'm not familiar with games so can't just grab n go. I need to stare and read through. People are generally civilized. Not sure how they keep track of what time people come in (or if they do at all). Tables aren't assigned so don't think they track like that. My group left before 3 hours. I think if they give a sign with arrival time and come around when 15 min left it'll help with tracking. Also about timing, perhaps offer additional time options. I heard this place is opened by a Hong Konger.

Lots of games to choose from

A new gem in the neighborhood! $10 for 3 hours of board game. There are a lot of games to choose from. It's a great way to spend an afternoon with your friends. The place is spacious with a lot of adorable decorations. There are also 2 party rooms that fits a big crowed (like 12 ppl)!!

    They have CATAN!

So happy to have found a great board game cafe in Brooklyn. Very close to the train so it was easy to get to. The food and drinks are great, I really enjoyed the peach green tea. The staff is also very nice and friendly and provide you with quick service.

This is my favorite board game cafe! Great atmosphere, great prices, and a great menu! I always bring or recommend my friends to come here if they're looking for a good time. :)

$10 for 3 hours for board games without going into the city works for me. Clean and cute cafe with quick snacks and bubble tea. Highly recommended! I only played monopoly deal but seems like it has large amount of board games and a 3D Catan

    Collection of board games.

What a great addition to the neighborhood! Friendly staff and hospitable owners. Highly recommended if you're looking for a place to sit back and relax with your group of friends. They have over 100's of board games and a drinks/snacks menu that caters to everyones taste. Great atmosphere for any occasion. All this for $10 admission fee (Drinks/Snacks additional charge) and unlimited play!

The drink had the perfect balance of flavor--not too sweet, very refreshing, and the green tea taste came through nicely. The tapioca pearls were soft and chewy, just the right texture. On top of that, the BOGO deal made it an amazing value. Definitely one of the best bubble tea spots I've tried, and I'll be ordering again!

Covid Delivery Review…read more I started to fiend for some bubble tea after the crazy deprivation we've all had to endure and Mars Tea was the only shop on Grubhub/Seamless to not charge a delivery fee, so it was time to try Mars Tea. And I'm glad I did! I ordered the Fresh Strawberry Slush Tea, Mars Dirty Tea and Thai Fresh Milk Tea With Bubble. Fresh Strawberry Slush Tea The strawberry slush was certainly made with real strawberries, though probably frozen instead of fresh. It had the signature seed grit and chunks here and there. Just know that the bitter tea will cut through the strawberry. Thai Fresh Milk Tea With Bubble This is Mars Tea's take on Thai Ice Tea. It tasted pretty good! Mars Dirty Tea Unfortunately it didn't travel well, but that's not a surprise. Dirty Tea is only visually appearing right when they serve it! Of course, it'll taste just as great no matter when you get around to it. Just stir up the sugar and get that sweet sweet high.

Been a regular here for years now and this place holds a special place in my heart. My all time…read morefavorite desserts are here that are found nowhere else. The star of the show: purple yam souffle with vanilla ice cream is chefs kiss!! I thought I couldn't like any dessert more than their chocolate molten lava cake but this one definitely takes the spot. Top two desserts they have! Even when I had lava cakes at fancy establishments, it doesn't hold a candle to prince tea house! Their crepe cakes are also alright but I've found the to be less unique and enjoyable especially the brown sugar boba which sometimes comes out in clumps hard to pour onto the cake. Their food selection is decent for sandwiches like chicken katsu and also fries. Their fruity teas aren't my style but their hot milk teas are amazing. The lavender green tea was more green tea which was disappointing, hoped to taste more lavender. The best one is the rose lovers milk tea, literally perfection each time. Unfortunately, this place may no longer be my usual. My favorite part of this place is that the serves don't really care about you in the sense that the bring you food and leave you alone. However, they now impose mandatory 20% tip on all tables even for table of 1 or 2. This location only. As someone who realizes the servers here simply bring food and nothing else here (which I actually love as I don't like to be bothered) but expect a high mandatory tip, this is not the way to go. Especially since there have been numerous occasions where servers are nowhere to be seen and refuse to service you for something as simple as napkins or a check if they're not your server, this is an absurd addition. Definitely visiting less now that this happened. The most bothersome is that it's mandatory. Doesn't seem right/ethical and makes it feel less genuine. Had the pleasure of visiting other prince tea house locations and the service seems better, even water without asking, surprising cash discount, and most importantly: don't impose this mandatory tip! Not sure what changed here but not what it used to be with this and it needs to change. TDLR: -best options here: rose lovers milk teas, chocolate lava cake, purple yam soufflé -major con: new mandated 20% tip!! on all tables, even table of 1 or 2, which is unheard of at other prince tea house locations and even fancy restaurants!

Highly recommend the rose milk tea where you can adjust the sweet level and my kids love their slushy. For apps: the buffolo chicken has a crispy skin and is juicy on the inside - it's tasty in itself but also comes with a ranch and siracha mayo dip on the side. I like their sweet potato fries and fried shrimp lollipop too. The purple crepe cake for dessert is very filling, and I tend to get this here since lots of places don't sell this. Love their booth tables in the front and the back green house garden is nice too if you want more sun.
