    Cool corner for merch

Hidden gem in Durham, the front entrance is unassuming and it's better like this. I found this place on the Zine called Hyperlocal and their zines are for sale here. I've been working downtown for months and I can't believe this place was next to m'y job and I had no idea. It's been a while since the last time I found a good coffee shop. The concept is really unique, the fact that there's 2 businesses in one brings in customers day & night. For coffee lovers, they keep a variety of coffee from many different roasters on rotation. We took a bag of coffee from Thaïland called Hai and we missed one from Berlin that sold out quickly. We were there twice in one week and that shows how much we enjoyed it. During our first visit we got a flight specialty coffee from 3 different roasters each with a different profile and a card explaining the origins, notes and information about the roaster. Also, we got a croissant sandwich and an avocado toast which were really good. Most recently, we tried there seasonal Tiramisu Iced Coffee. We were impressed by the rich creamy foam on the top with a lady finger to dip. Friendly knowledgeable staff. The space is large and cosy at the same time, definitely a place where we will be back often because of the good energy and many more reasons. Sometimes they put good Jazz music on.

We moved here recently and decided to try as many coffee shops as possible. This one is a keeper! Matcha latte was high quality (from Uji, Japan, none of that pre-sweetened stuff) and so was the regular iced latte. Ham and cheese croissant was solid as well. They have outdoor seating + a good amount of indoor seating, with a cozy exposed brick vibe. Service was great, too!

Excellent spot. Chill, good coffee, and lots of different seating options. Haven't been there for a beer yet, but definitely will.

Not a lot of parking out front so they allow parking next door at Kings gr but they kept a line of folks. Yes it moved, don't worry. Fresh pastry variety was quite impressive. The goodies were: Vietnamese coffee donut & creamsicle donut from Red Start bakery. An apple pop tart, & blueberry cheese danish also caught my eye. Yes I got them all. There was more but a guy gotta have limits. But I'll just they were mmm mmm good. I'll have to get the donuts again. There is limited seating, and a children's play area which was so cool. I'm hard pressed to not get my jolt of Java so I got a cortado with a drizzle of caramel for a little sweetness. LOVED the flavor, would've loved it if a little hotter. My son-in-law got the Mexican Coke, vanilla espresso. It was cold and amazing as per him. My wife's latte also needed to be hotter. I'll cut the barista a break as she was a one woman show.

You can tell the quality of the drink and beans Omie's is high quality as soon as you taste it. I absolutely loved their fun and creative seasonal menu. I ordered the pumpkin pie brown butter latte, and it was so tasty. Normally, I have to ask coffee shops to reduce the sugar, but this drink was perfectly balanced. In addition, Omie's sells baked goods to complement your drink. There was a selection of tasty treats to pick from. One of my friends got a HUGE cookie, which looked absolutely delicious. As a fair heads up, parking and inside seating areas are limited. However, Omie's has done the most to maximize the space to make it a cozy place to sit. Pro tip- there is a little more seating to the left of the bathrooms, and there are several comfy spots interspersed throughout. Come for the good coffee, good vibes, and lovely service staff. I definitely know that I will be back!

The baristas were very welcoming and knowledgeable, providing a sample of the coffee (we were given a coffee from Burundi) , providing some information on their harvesting and roasting practices, and opening up the floor to an audience Q&A. Ambiance is very modern and chic and there are two bathrooms open to visitors in the facility. I would recommend going on time to the tasting if possible for the best seating/experience. I came 15 min late and the seats were all taken and it was a full house. There were no issues with finding parking; there is a gravel lot adjacent to the roastery. Overall, a very unique experience!

I visited today for my Coffee Shop Saturday series and I'm so so glad I did. It's located on Main Street in Garner, plenty of free parking out front. Kyle was awesome and helped me choose between the many food options. They serve breakfast all day!!!! Everyone was so great and friendly. It's the cutest place! Great place to work or just hang. There's a table with a couple of chairs on the main level where you order, then there's this very spacious upstairs with so many tables, a counter with bar stools and even a couch!! The windows make it even more amazing! I ordered the Bacon Bagel Scramble and a hot Hazelnut Latte w/ oat milk. It was love at first bite and first sip!!! Both were soooooo good. It really grossed me out, and I feel disrespected that they invaded my personal space to come out of the single occupancy bathroom one after the other and then come over and stand so close to me while they made out-- she almost bumped her ass in my face, that's how close they were to me, and I was sitting on the opposite side of the room from the bathroom, so they made a point to come over and stand so close to me while touching eachother and making out. Just vile. I know that's not the cafe's fault, I'm just letting you know so maybe... idk you keep an eye out for it? I don't care what they do in there, it's how they came over to me to make out afterwards practically up against me that just makes me feel disgusted and grossed out. I don't want unknown people's post-sex bodies touching me, it's gross. Coffee was fine though. it's just that particularly gross couple weirded me out.

I got a hot americano first which was fantastic; i use this as a base measure for how well a shop pulls shots without having to completely sacrifice the drink if its subpar. I also grabbed a baked good which was also great, i wouldve preferred it warmed up, although admittedly, they probably could have if id asked. There is a large amount of outdoor seating but inside seating is limited as well as outlets for work. Luckily it wasnt busy when i arrived and was able to find a spot to get setup. I'm a big fan of lighter-roasted, funky, expressive coffees, and Black & White absolutely delivers. Their roasting style leans into vibrant, fruit-forward profiles, and they do it with confidence. The downtown Raleigh location is fantastic too. It's right in the middle of everything, making it a great stop for a date night, meeting up with friends, or just dropping in for a quick but exceptional cup. Their seasonal menu was small but mighty -- just a couple of options -- but the kind where every drink looks so good you wish they'd never rotate them off the menu. I started with the orange cardamom flat white, and it was perfect in every way. Beautifully presented and incredibly balanced. The espresso, milk, orange, and cardamom all complemented each other without any one flavor taking over. It was nuanced, aromatic, and just a joy to drink. For my second drink, I ordered a Rodrigo Sanchez pour-over, a co-fermented Colombian coffee labeled with passion fruit notes. It was everything I want from a pour-over -- bright, juicy, and expressive, with the kind of sweet stone fruit and berry notes that make light-roasted coffee so exciting. Black & White continues to prove why they're one of the most respected specialty roasters around. If you love adventurous coffee with huge flavor and careful execution, this place is an absolute must-visit.
