    Burnt honey flat white. Tasty!
    Eman S.

Liturgy is located within a food hall so it shares seating with all of the vendors. In general, foot traffic isn't too wild so it works. No aesthetic or vibes to really get work done or take a coffee shop-styled seat with a friend. Staff was kind and professional. Craft drinks were interesting and there were both classic seasonal drinks like a PSL variation and peppermint mocha, but also a burnt honey flat white. I enjoyed the flat white very much although my latte art got a tad messy. The drink was good, but 4 stars because on both this and the peppermint mocha, they weren't quite on a 4 or a 5 star level and with the aesthetic missing, 4 stars it is.

Ordered an almond milk latte and it was pretty good! Service was fast and the barista was nice, just wish they had a few more flavor/syrup options.

The best, fastest cold brew I've ever had. The people there are always so nice. Durham Food Hall is nice and cool in the mornings.

Easily the best espresso I've had in the triangle. They serve local coffee from Black and White coffee and have different beans in from roasters from around the world. Top quality, great service!

If you want good local coffee, Liturgy is where you need to go! This cute beverage company is nestled in the corner of the Durham Food Hall. Every time I go to the Food Hall, this beverage company always has a line! Don't let the line scare you. They move through each order very quickly. This time, my partner and I got the gingerbread lattes without milk. This was a seasonal drink and it was truly delicious! If you want to feel like you are snuggled up by an open fire with gingerbread cookies, this is the drink for you. I highly recommend getting a cup of coffee from here. The service is speedy and creates high quality drinks.

Always a line for coffee, because it's that good.

Some of the best coffee around Durham! They offer some cool and eclectic choices when it comes to their rotating coffee selections and special concoctions. I've also used them for a large group order, where I was able to order 2 gallons in advance. Our group of 40 loved their coffee. The customer service is always outstanding!

    Ethiopian summer shake
    Shannon D.

Went here inside of the food hall and ordered the Ethiopian summer shake which is coffee with honeydew sorbet and then a coconut crush late and holy poop this place is amazing! I'm obsessed with the summer shake, the honeydew flavor is just the right amount. It's so refreshing and delicious. I'll be back.

LOVED the coconut crush latte! It's so fun and not too sweet or anything. The coffee really came through and the coconut flavor was subtle. Also a nice touch we're the ice cubes - they're crystal clear! You can tell that they pay a lot of attention to detail here, down to the ice cubes, and I really appreciate that. It's rare to see cafes take it to the next level these days, and I feel like liturgy does that. Staff is so nice here. I've been a couple times and have never had a bad experience. The location itself is not bad either; nice interiors. Downtown Durham is difficult to park in but street parking is available right outside of the Durham Food Hall where this is located.

    White Nojito
    Connie W.

Liturgy is one of my favorite coffee places in existence. Their iced vanilla lattes are incredibly creamy with just the right amount of sweetness. Their coconut crush latte is the perfect summer coffee drink. I typically ask for a little less sweetness in it, since the coconut cream can be a little overwhelming. The white nojito was also super refreshing! Although Liturgy is a little pricey, most coffee places in Durham typically are around a similar price range. The difference is that Liturgy's coffee is worth every buck! PLUS Durham Food Hall is extremely vibrant and beautiful, filled with a lot of seating as well as delicious food options in case you get hungry after your coffee.

    Iced latte
    Sweta S.

This is a cute little coffee shop in the Durham food court. I ordered an iced latte, cappuccino, and coffee. The food court was a bit busy than what I would like, but the people in line maintained some distance between each other. You can pick it up and head outside. The latte met expectations, not bitter. It was a bit on the pricier side, hence the one less star. If you are looking for a quick caffeine fix, particularly during the Durham farmers market on Saturdays, this is the place to go.

Not a lot of parking out front so they allow parking next door at Kings gr but they kept a line of folks. Yes it moved, don't worry. Fresh pastry variety was quite impressive. There was more but a guy gotta have limits. But I'll just they were mmm mmm good. I'll have to get the donuts again. There is limited seating, and a children's play area which was so cool. I'm hard pressed to not get my jolt of Java so I got a cortado with a drizzle of caramel for a little sweetness. LOVED the flavor, would've loved it if a little hotter. My son-in-law got the Mexican Coke, vanilla espresso. It was cold and amazing as per him. My wife's latte also needed to be hotter. I'll cut the barista a break as she was a one woman show.

I ordered the pumpkin pie brown butter latte, and it was so tasty. Normally, I have to ask coffee shops to reduce the sugar, but this drink was perfectly balanced. In addition, Omie's sells baked goods to complement your drink. There was a selection of tasty treats to pick from. One of my friends got a HUGE cookie, which looked absolutely delicious. As a fair heads up, parking and inside seating areas are limited. However, Omie's has done the most to maximize the space to make it a cozy place to sit. Pro tip- there is a little more seating to the left of the bathrooms, and there are several comfy spots interspersed throughout. Come for the good coffee, good vibes, and lovely service staff. I definitely know that I will be back!

There's plenty of seating, and the menu offers a lot more than just coffee -- with options ranging from craft coffee to beer and wine. I ordered a cortado, which was exactly the late-afternoon pick-me-up I needed. I had to take it to go (never the ideal way to enjoy a cortado), but it was still well prepared and nicely balanced. I also tried one of their seasonal drinks, the Bee Stings Latte -- an iced latte with honey, ginger, turmeric, and a little cayenne kick. It was a really unique combination and surprisingly refreshing. The spice and honey gave it a comforting, almost restorative feel -- the kind of drink that would be perfect if you're feeling a little under the weather or dealing with sore joints. My wife ordered the Raspberry Beret, an iced matcha with raspberry purée and white chocolate. Her verdict: the best matcha she's ever had. I'm a big fan of lighter-roasted, funky, expressive coffees, and Black & White absolutely delivers. Their roasting style leans into vibrant, fruit-forward profiles, and they do it with confidence. The downtown Raleigh location is fantastic too. It's right in the middle of everything, making it a great stop for a date night, meeting up with friends, or just dropping in for a quick but exceptional cup. Their seasonal menu was small but mighty -- just a couple of options -- but the kind where every drink looks so good you wish they'd never rotate them off the menu. I started with the orange cardamom flat white, and it was perfect in every way. Beautifully presented and incredibly balanced. The espresso, milk, orange, and cardamom all complemented each other without any one flavor taking over. It was nuanced, aromatic, and just a joy to drink. For my second drink, I ordered a Rodrigo Sanchez pour-over, a co-fermented Colombian coffee labeled with passion fruit notes. It was everything I want from a pour-over -- bright, juicy, and expressive, with the kind of sweet stone fruit and berry notes that make light-roasted coffee so exciting. Black & White continues to prove why they're one of the most respected specialty roasters around. We've been to Aaktun in Durham multiple times for both breakfast and dinner, and it's honestly become one of our favorite spots. I'm Peruvian and grew up with Peruvian cuisine, so seeing lomo saltado -- a classic Peruvian dish -- on the menu immediately made me happy. Having also grown up in Mexico and lived in places like Miami, I really appreciate what they're doing with the menu: a modern, delicious take on Latin flavors that feels creative without losing what makes those cuisines special. The atmosphere is absolutely beautiful. You walk in thinking it's a stylish little coffee shop, then head toward the back and the whole place opens up -- gorgeous bar, tropical touches, cozy alcove seating, really cool vibe. One time we went with friends for a special dining experience they were offering, and it was excellent. The food, drinks, and whole experience were made even better by Fernando, the manager, who has always been incredibly warm, helpful, and accommodating. Highly recommend Aaktun for breakfast or dinner. Still haven't made it there for lunch somehow, but at this point we'd be shocked if it wasn't great too.

The original interactions had already put a bad taste in my mouth, so I called another restaurant downtown and asked how long the wait would be for two.
