With the latest soaking the Ellicott City received a rather large tree came down right across my driveway. I called Branch Out and the owner came out to the house that afternoon. Considering how hard the area got hit I was impressed he could fit me in same-day. He put the whole thing through the chipper, while saving some choice firewood. His prices are VERY reasonable, especially for this area. This is a small company and definitely deserves your business. He's actually getting some more of mine in another week.

They're a small operation--no chemical license, so if you want fertilizing, you'll need to find someone bigger. But it was nice to have the same guy do the estimate and the work. They came with a two-man team--one climber and one on the ground. Both seemed very comfortable with what they were doing. They arrived exactly as scheduled and finished trimming and clean-up within five hours. They were cooperative with the neighbors coming in and out. I happened to be here throughout the job, and they were happy to answer questions and make adjustments, but they could have worked quite well unsupervised. Jose came out right away to provide an estimate (which was more than reasonable) and took time to carefully explain which parts of the tree he would be trimming back and the reason for each cut. I needed a very tall elm tree trimmed in my rear yard. Even though it is impossible to use a basket truck to reach the tree because of the tree's location off of my alley, the team had no problem climbing the tree and avoiding all power and internet lines. I gave her my availability to accommodate an in-person estimate which was a 4 hour window from 11am-3pm. She stated she would call me in the morning to advise a more precise time. At 1:30pm, I CALLED THEM and again the same 'I-wish-I-was-on-another-planet' phone reception... and then offered to come out AT 3pm. NOPE. If the phone etiquette matches the service? HARD PASS.

Not reliable. Removed a fallen tree. Said they will come back to remove the stump, then on site…read moreafter removing the tree successfully, said they have no time to grind the stump and will come back to do it. Then a day later told me the machine is too large which is a lie since the guy on sire said the machine can go though the gate but no time since they need to go do another job. Gave different excuses later for not coming back and I am left with a huge stump sticking up 3 feet above ground. Very unhappy. Find a more reilable service.
