PROPERTY DAMAGE!…read more Despite plenty of room to avoid damage they crushed my gutter, broke my mailbox, knocked the landscaping ties of my raised flower bed out of place, broke and knocked a picket off my fence, and... A 30-40 foot tree WILL DIE because they cut too many limbs and, even after cutting one that showed disease, cut yet another, but never told me. Large limbs and branches fell into healthy trees and vegetation, breaking healthy limbs and branches, and deforming several trees. There were 4 limbs over 6 feet long that were left in the trees, along with several widowmakers they were supposed to remove. Had I not personally dug then out they would also have killed three over-20 foot tall Holly trees because they buried the trunks in over a foot and a half of wood chips which also went into my neighbor's yard. They didn't finish grinding a stump in my front yard, and... Despite a pointed conversation with Roger and one of his employees they ground the stumps of a row of my bushes that were acting as a green fence between my neighbors. They left such a mess that I couldn't mow my lawn until I picked up what amounted to a wheelbarrow full of everything from branch parts over an inch in diameter and large chunks of thick, hard bark to rocks from my driveway and cigarette butts. Repeated calls to Roger left me little more than a litany of denials and excuses. There were no more than 4 employees, but three of them were confirmed addicts. One day one of them didn't show up. The following day he did very little, and did not return. One of them was injured badly enough to need medical care over and above a questionable first aid kit. It will cost over $1,000 to fix everything. I have given him over 6 MONTHS to make things right. My last call asked for final resolution but there has been no response. Roger may sound like he knows about cutting trees, but he was seldom there. "Affordable" does NOT mean that you will not have to spend MORE MONEY to fix what they DAMAGE or BREAK. Hire someone ELSE!

Great prices, excellent customer service, and so friendly. And they ground all the trees in their chipper as they went along and cleaned up after themselves. I highly recommend them!!

LOOK NO FURTHER THAN EXPRESS TREE SERVICE! From my first…read morephone call I was met with courtesy and professionalism. Jose came out right away to provide an estimate (which was more than reasonable) and took time to carefully explain which parts of the tree he would be trimming back and the reason for each cut. I needed a very tall elm tree trimmed in my rear yard. Even though it is impossible to use a basket truck to reach the tree because of the tree's location off of my alley, the team had no problem climbing the tree and avoiding all power and internet lines. The team arrived on-time and finished in the time promised. The entire clean up job was fantastic and the tree looks great! I can now rest easy about the safety of the limbs around my house and yard. Jose is an extremely professional and friendly businessman and it is obvious he takes great pride in his work, enjoys his job, and values his customers. I am definitely going to hire them again for any job I need done, and I highly recommend Jose and his team for someone you can trust that will treat you fairly and provide high quality services. You can count on him for an honest, thorough, and outstanding job! M.O.

When you call, the girl acts as if she would rather be somewhere else. Answers the phone "hello…read more(long pause) ........express tree service" and sounds as if she's outside or at the beach, I don't know. I gave her my availability to accommodate an in-person estimate which was a 4 hour window from 11am-3pm. She stated she would call me in the morning to advise a more precise time. At 1:30pm, I CALLED THEM and again the same 'I-wish-I-was-on-another-planet' phone reception... and then offered to come out AT 3pm. NOPE. If the phone etiquette matches the service? HARD PASS.
