I specifically remember walking from my grandparents home, which was the first house on nearby Ross Road! It was always a special trip. We would get to pick out a frozen treat from the little freezer out in front of the store, that is still there today, 55 years later!! I remember at the time, the had old wooden floors. Don't know if it still does today, I have to admit I haven't been to this little since I was probably 10 years old, but the fact that it's still there and going strong, along with the post office, definitely says that they must be doing something right! As far as the having short hours, that's because the community is just a very tiny little community, who uses it! And I don't think they "HAVE TO" have a PO Box, but can if they want to. It's just that it's nice that the small community of Carrolls, has its own Post Office to mail stuff, instead of having to GO INTO TOWN through the Kelso Post Office, which is ALWAYS BUSY! So, it actually makes it MORE convenient for people that live there, & NOT a hassle!

I don't even know where to start, but let me note a few highlights that were unforeseen. What is more, you can decorate it with all the fixings which were hand prepared that day. They even have jalapeños and habanero sauce. The seating was super BOSS because I could view the fill up action while I pleased my palate. Other offerings: they have a FULL line of beverages (adult and otherwise). I felt like I was at whole foods when it came to drink options. Surprisingly they had the drink sought after by golfers everywhere, thats right, Arnold Palmer tea. I indulged. (Perhaps a golfer owns this oasis) Furthermore, they sport BOTH Pepsi and coke in the fountain section--no regulation on soda size here. Beyond this, they carry everything from extension cords to produce. Forget Walmart, that's all I have to say. The service is better here anyway. The fill up: the attendant was prompt and polite, demonstrating vernacular that reflects his local culture. Once the fill up was complete, ample parking existed around the building which encouraged myself and other patrons to "settle in" for a while. Upon entry I noted the attendant was furthering his education in the area of biology, particularly organisms that habitate the surrounding ecosystem. There is so much more I could say, but I will leave it for the next sojourner to include in his/her review. What I MUST say is that you will not be disappointed if you choose to make this your place of concession!

It's very small, and doesn't have easy access. But it isn't a bad station. It's just incredibly hard to navigate. Once inside, it's pretty large. In terms of size AND selection. They've probably got any food or beverage you're looking for. You're also not gonna feel cramped looking for it. It has such great service 24/7. Even this one cashier that's been there since I can remember. Super nice, and fast. He knows what he's doing. It's in a pretty good location, easy access into the parking lot. Which, is kinda small too. But not as small as the actual pumps. Overall, nobody is gonna be dissatisfied with the quality and service here. As long as they don't let the immediate anger get to you, when you first arrive at the pumps.
