Runkle's is EXCEPTIONAL!!!!! They went absolutely ABOVE and BEYOND to help me out with PennDOT and my car registrations being screwed up due to several errors on the worst insurance company I've ever had over the years....(ALLSTATE)!! I had them less than a year and due to several errors I probably would have had to even pay fines just to get my vehicle registrations back but A Runkle employee and Runkle manager spent two days working with me to get what they needed from the stupid insurance company and put rush on thru PennDOT to get it for me in just under three days had it not been for their hard work and extreme effort I may not have been able to ever get it straight with out paying fines and serving suspension time even though I did not do anything wrong! My boyfriend and I are from Maryland and came up to York PA to purchase a car off of facebook marketplace. When we first came to Runkle's to get the title transferred and get temp plates to drive home, it was chaos. It was a hassle to get the exact proof of insurance, we had to spend 20 minutes on the phone with the insurance company to get them to send us the exact right document that we needed. Runkle's has to follow strict rules on what they accept. We eventually got everything worked out but if it weren't for Luz, our saving grace, we all would've lost our minds. She kept calm, she worked us through everything, and helped us get what we needed and made it so much easier. Definitely deserves a raise. She's amazing so shoutout to her!! I brought my 95 year old father to Runkles to get a replacement license. He is living in an assisted living facility and his wallet "went missing". All of his important cards were gone! We had the pleasure of having Carilyn to help us. She was so kind, so patient, so pleasant, helpful and professional. My father is a WWII Vet and was wearing his vet hat. We visited the Runkle's in York this past week to buy tags and purchase a vehicle from a family member. Heather was fantastic! She was very nice, and made sure that we all filled out the documents correctly. My Aunt is the POA of the person we were purchasing the vehicle from, and Heather took extra care to make sure that all of the papers were in order. We later found out that she is in training, but didn't even notice at first because of how efficient she was. We also appreciated the young lady who was training Heather.
