Our home was listed, and wanting to sell we decided to put the price at the lower end of his recommendation range, trying to ensure it would not sit. Within 4 days he wanted us to lower the price by $10,000 because of only 2 showings. We did not feel great about this and felt this was too soon, but he pushed, so we agreed to lower by $7,000. Within a week we had 1 awful offer and one for asking. We accepted the one for the asking price. Now it was time to find our new home. We picked a day we could both get off work. He said he couldn't show us houses that entire day because he was taking his 2 dogs to a grooming appointment. We found our home through a different realtor in his office. Bobby made the offer and it was accepted. Here's where things take a turn. He said he took care of our earnest money going where it needed to go. He didn't. He told us he got permission from our seller so we could move in up to a couple days early. He didn't. We told him when our movers were coming and he was pushing to have the sellers do our walk through at the same time our movers would be moving our belongings out of the home. Everything was in writing via text messages. When the messages were copied back to him, he spun out of control. Messages became rude and unprofessional on his end. We didn't know how to respond to him. We decided to have another realtor from his company intervene. John Perry stepped in and was very professional and completed the rest of the communication and tasks. We would not recommend using Bobby West as a realtor.

Scott guided us through he whole process was very patient with us and explained everything without over explaining. He helped us at every step of the way was always quick to reply and easy to contact and kept us informed. Scott also had great contacts through him he helped us pick a quality mortgage broker, home inspector and everything else we needed for the process. Scott was also extremely knowledgeable about the houses we toured and was able to point out things I never would have noticed or known to ask about. He was able to adapt as we figured out what kind of houses we were actually interested in and guide us to more like what we wanted. We toured a lot of houses and made two offers in our Journey and Scott was reassuring communicative and effective the entire way. Every weekend he would set us up to tour homes with an itinerary and a plan also including and getting us information on homes we found ourselves that we liked. Scott was a great Value as a realtor but more importantly to me he was just a very good person. I felt like i could trust him to actually have mine and my Wife's interests at heart. I never felt pressured by him and the man knew how to make us feel comfortable in the strange situation. He was easy to talk to without it ever feeling awkward or like an obligation even on our 10th or 12th house toured. He was fun to talk to while keeping us on track through all the tours and making good use of our time. He helped us weigh the pros and cons of the places we visited and helped us understand everything through his knowledge and experience. I'd highly recommend this group and Scott in particular if you are in the process of buying a house.

Think twice before you do business with Deborah Jones from Berkshire Hathaway…read more (Washington, pa) Most agents work very hard while trying to please their clients. The worst experiences are overt pride, arrogance, coupled with unprofessionalism. & sadly, Sometimes you will come across an agent who has all three negative characteristics. While searching for a house I was interested in, the sellers agent happened to be Deborah Jones. I placed a bid on the house and after the home inspection was complete, there were some known issues. Surely it was nothing major but definitely needed to be addressed. Once my agent contacted the sellers agent regarding what needed to be addressed-Deborah took it upon herself to make the comment that I was "making a name for myself in the neighborhood". Honestly, this particular neighborhood was in Canon Mac school district which is where my son attends school. This particular neighborhood was also perfect because it gave my son the opportunity to meet many more NEW friends. There was never "difficulty" or me trying to "make a name for myself"...I simply got out bid from a previous home in the same vicinity. (Not a big deal) With that being said, it made the process of working with Deborah Jones not so ideal. There was a slight hold up at the closing due to Deborah not submitting the correct paperwork. Not to mention...Deborah Jones conveniently did NOT show up at the the closing. As an agent it's YOUR JOB to try to make the transaction smoothly for both parties. As an agent, it's your JOB to work TOGETHER by coordinating and communicating with the other agent representing the other client. It's a shame Deborah not only misrepresented her company but the level of unprofessionalism and disrespect wasn't appreciated, whatsoever. I hope Deborah understands that her comment was unprofessional & insulting. The reality is, the only person who "made a name for themself" was Deborah Jones. I hope to see her professionalism (or should I say lack thereof) be addressed to avoid any future issues with potential clients and agents.

Coming…read morefrom a real estate family, I watched family members who have now passed on act with respect, empathy, professionalism and who worked for their client. Bonnie did none of these. In a world of 6+% commissions, one would think an agent would strive to earn it. We were wrong. Selling a home is stressful enough. We hoped to feel that our own agent, Bonnie, was on our side. She wasn't. She simply wanted the sale. We basically had to communicate with her assistant and other stable workers that she seems to have working on her funny farm. "Fiduciary " is not a word in her vocabulary. When the buyers asked for unreasonable things, she responded "well, I'd just give it to them". Basically, we were all alone in this process and could have hired just about anyone to do the job she did. The list is too long for a review to cover all of the "OMG" moments along the way, I would highly advise against using her. There are plenty of options out there. She may have a billboard, marketing, and a cute dog. But I have felt a more genuine feel buying a used car. Seller beware!
