Kim at Carpet One, whom I originally spoke with was very friendly over the phone. That was - until I sent a text confirming the carpet layers appointment. It sounded like she wasn't aware that we had ordered the carpet from them. Communication problem. (4 of 5) See below for further details. 2) May 23rd: Josh drove from Madera with several different carpet samples. I thought he was pleasant at first then I received an email with all block letters - which sounded like he's shouting at me. (4 of 5) 3) Jun 12th: Carpet layers, Sergio & Carlos are from Fresno: They are absolute professionals. It took them exactly one hour from start to finish, including unloading their tools - through to completion of carpet installation and vacuuming. We were very impressed with their work. Sergio and Carlos are related - uncle and nephew respectively. Carlos mentioned that they're a family-run business, and has been in operation for over 26-years. (5 of 5) Overall: I was not informed that there would be three entities working on this one project. Perhaps if I had been given the contact information of the numerous people, I could have contacted them directly and not go through Kim at Carpet One. Their mode of operation seems confusing to me. It's a shame because the carpet layers were the most professional of the lot - and Carpet One could have gotten a review of 5 stars had they been more forthright. (4 of 5)

He gave us dates that he would be here and when he didn't show up, I was genuinely surprised. He had been quite consistent in the past. But this time he just dropped the ball completely! He made us some promises of jobs he was going to do by certain dates and then just didn't show up. When we reached out, after several attempts, he got back saying it was time to part ways and that he had not been paid enough for the jobs that he did. We have all the records of all the payments we made to him and they all line up with what he charged us. I believe he is good at his job, but he is not good at managing his time. He left us high and dry. And that added several weeks to our project because we had to find somebody else and work with their timing. I don't think I would be able to recommend him.

Hired Wallis Excavating to work on my driveway to allow the big well drilling rig get in to drill…read moremy well. Wallis worked quite a few hours of back hoeing and then after the well was drilled, came back and put the road back into very excellent condition. Figured I had run up a pretty good size bill but was very pleased at the amount of the final bill, much lower than anticipated. So they get a 5 star rating for both the economy of the job plus how good they did in moving all that dirt around. Highly recommended.

She loves what she does and it works. She not only has the wisdom and the knowledge, she knows how to sell your home to the right buyer. Donna listed our home on a Friday late afternoon and on that Sunday she had an offer in her hand. We closed escrow within 2 weeks. Perfection is the word that comes to mind when describing Donna and her staff Julie and Kim. The description of our home was so inviting you had to want to see the house, just incredible. Her photographer has to be the best in the business, all the photos were crystal clear and showed perfect detail. Doona's communication is above all expectations! Clayton arrived on time. He knew what had to be done. Clayton is professional and efficient. Now, our garage doors do not wake up our neighbours whenever we open or close the doors, or creak and whine whenever we operate them. It's worth every penny spent getting new hardware for the job.
