She was just so very cool. The food was great - I opted for Greek Spaghetti. Different than I've had before but enjoyed it all the same. It was like the flavor was liquid or broth form, pooled at the bottom of the dish. Another version I had was dry, like Pesto. Anyway - when I figured out all the goodness was at the bottom of the plate - it was all over from there. Mixed it up a little. Toss in a little crushed red peppers for taste. Then inhaled it all until it was all gone. The al dente noodles. Charred chicken. All just right. The service for me made it an excellent experience. Food was good and I enjoyed it enough that if I'm ever in the area again, I'd definitely stop in - but not before trying other places first. But if I lived in the area, I'd be a regular.

With young kids who do not eat much anyway, not sure why this location wants to pick battles with families with kids. All of this doesn't just flow from the servers, it comes from the management/owner(s) who instead of finding a way to balance margins and customer service, they sacrifice customer service for minimal margin gain by directing their staff and probably reprimanding them for these kinds of situations. We have visited multiple other longhorns over the years and this is the only one that displays a noticeable stinginess and negative attitude with extra plates and kid's meal orders. All other longhorns have provided excellent service when we order the same thing at any other longhorn we go to and have no complaints; the Salisbury location however today decided to seemingly cut one of our kids meal steaks in half and serve one steak as two on separate kids meals. Our server today was sweet and very nice until we ordered, then a noticeable shift took place in the tone and atmosphere, and the staff seemed to try and "get back" at us by providing us with the tiniest steaks possible, literally half the size of a normal kid's steak we have ever received in the years we have been going to Longhorn and getting kids meals. With 3 young kids all over 2 years old present; ordering 2 kids meals and an extra plate with our family of 5 should not be met with this kind of disgruntlement from staff. This kind of stinginess flows from the higher ups at this location and it shows. And of all the days to deliver a passive aggressive retaliation on kids meals to my kids, they chose Father's Day. We will not be returning to this location as it is not family friendly. So now, losing customers and revenue over this pettiness doesn't seem so good for the margins anymore does it?

I had to get up and find someone to address the issues with the steak and chicken. No one apologized, except the cashier, who was very kind and polite. The manager was seated in a booth with other waitresses and never bothered to come by or apologize for either the food or the service. This was my third time at Rockwell Diner, and it will be my last, which is unfortunate because I like to support local businesses. The first time, the food was good, but the service was less than stellar. The second time, the food was just okay and the service still was not good. Today was the final straw.

I would just like to say Yostie is awesome! Good people, good food! These ARE hard working kind people, some of the friendliest I have met in the quaint little 'one stoplight' town....what that has to do with the food, I have no clue...as the previous review stated. The chili is homeade, a Yosties recipe that has been a proven hit, due to the thousand of 'dogs' they have sold. YOSTIES is a great place to eat, with that small town charm that makes it a place you want to come back to. The smell of fresh baked breads and cinnamon buns is amazing. You can run in get a hot dog with spicy or mild chili that is second to none for lunch and leave with supper for the family. I would suggest that if you have never been to YOSTIES you definately need to take the time to go by and treat yourself to the experience, you will leave full, impressed and wanting more! read more

Yosties is an AMAZING establishment.Its conveniently located,family owned,and you never leave disappointed.Its a very welcoming and warm facility.The food is absolutely amazing especially their cinnamon buns,along with their hot dogs.Once you eat at Yosties i can almost gaurantee that you'll want to come back for more. EXCELLENT !! The smells, the cleanliness and always fresh and tasty. They have a 99.5 health rating and everything is cooked fresh daily. My friend was an employee at one time and she said they were meticulous with their food.. The Cinnamon buns, cheese straws and chili dogs are as good as you will find.. Today, I returned and politely explained the situation to the staff. I simply asked if they could provide an extra blue cheese this time due to the previous mistake. The cashier went to get the manager, Taylor, who informed me that I would need to have a "credit" on my account in order to receive the blue cheese dressing. She explained that I should have called the same day the mistake happened. I was honestly shocked by the response. As a returning customer who tips every visit, I expected a much better level of customer service and professionalism. I even asked if my tip could be refunded due to the poor service experience, and that request was DENIED as well. What's disappointing is this entire situation could have been resolved easily with a simple cup of blue cheese dressing. Instead, the interaction felt dismissive and unnecessarily difficult. The food may be good, but great restaurants also provide quality customer service and value loyal customers. Sadly, this experience left a bad impression on me. I will not be returning, and I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for good customer service alongside their food.
