They no longer take walk-ins so the reception area was empty. As soon as I finished signing in I was escorted to the sample room. Debra, the phlebotomist, hit my difficult vein on the first try, it was almost painless, she did an excellent job. I mentioned to her that I usually end up with a 2 inch bruise so she placed a flexible wrap around my elbow. I do not see a bruise this afternoon.

    I had a blood draw at this location on 12/8/25 and was informed that the phlebotomist was on her…read morefirst day. Multiple attempts were made, and the first was extremely painful. I expressed that it was hurting, but the phlebotomist decided to wiggle the needle aggressively. I almost passed out and a second attempt was performed without escalation to a more experienced staff member. As of 3/2/26, I am still experiencing pain and functional limitations in my hand and arm that have required ongoing medical care. I have attempted several times, using multiple methods, to inform Labcorp of this issue but have not received any response. I am sharing this to highlight the importance of listening to patient feedback, proper supervision, and escalation protocols for new staff to ensure patient safety.
