The plastic on the side of the doors was torn up, not well maintained at all. Then the driver informed us that the back window was down and wouldn't roll back up so we would have to ride with it down. We had all paid to have hair done and rain was on the way. Then after telling him it was stifling hot he informed us that the AC was not good back there so he rolled down the window separating the back to the front and turned on a little fan. After complaining, he said that we were going to switch cars. We pulled into a parking lot, assuming that we were there to switch to a different car, but instead were there to meet a window repair man. He took the entire door off and fixed the window WHILE WE WERE IN THE CAR, SUPPOSED TO BE DRIVING TO THE WEDDING! Once it was fixed, we went on to the wedding location and the second car didn't show up until just minutes before we had to get out for the wedding. My sister reached out to Sheridan and he was very kind and apologetic, until she asked for a refund or at least a partial refund due to us not getting the services we paid for. After that he ignored all of her calls and messages and she hasn't been able to get in touch with him since! Our experience was not any better than if we had just gotten an Uber!

After trying a few other taxis (all of whom said they didn't have anyone in ft. walton; all in destin instead) I landed upon Don Fischer and his shuttle. He came by promptly, with a clean and multi-passenger van, and affordably got me to the airport and back. Clean, prompt, affordable (and will negotiate if you pay cash), and very safe driving style. In a smaller community with few options, it's hard to ask for more than that.
