The team went over and above to ensure we were happy, and were meticulous and detail oriented. I…read morecalled Andrew he came over to give us an estimate right away and within a week started the work and finished it within a week. We had them paint walls and ceilings, add crown molding, cover AC duct work in two bed rooms and add wainscoting to one of the bedrooms. The painter that Andrew brought in did an amazing job as well. They all went above and beyond to help us. We also had a banister the was remove from our stairwell many years ago and we ask for them to install it and let us know what it would cost but just hung it free of charge. Andrew is also very good at knowing what would look good and made some awesome suggestions for example we only thought we would just have them drywall around the AC duct but he suggested the bead-board and as you can see by the picture it looks awesome. He also suggested an option to cover our ugly baseboard heater by building a wood surround that we could even use as a small shelf for charge phones or tablets, etc. that we loved the idea but where the heater is located would be blocked by furniture and would not be practical for that room. We will put Andrew on our speed dial to call in the future for other projects. Andrew took notes about what we wanted and did exactly what we wanted without having to repeat anything he paid attention to everything we said he was our only estimate based on our first meeting with him he made such a great impression right from the get-go. We can't thank him enough for the awesome experience.

They then developed a plot plan and a plant plan. Once I approved it they brought in a large crew to prepare the beds and do the planting. I wanted a decoational stone call to server as a centerpiece of a large planting bed near the road and they brought in a specialty company that did a superb job. The landsape is now 2 years old. Ream Design has replace the few plants that did not do well under their warranty, and has provided vaulable advice to me on upkeep. I give them my top recommendation.

We needed a complete redo of our old, outdated, ugly basement: complete demolition out to the…read morefoundation and installation of new framing, insulation, walls, stairs, flooring, plumbing, lighting, stairs and more in our nearly 100 year-old-house. Cody (owner of CJC) came highly recommended by a painting contractor we trust so we asked him to come out to have a look, discuss a plan, and provide an estimate. He listened to our needs (focusing on providing a "blank canvas" for new buyers when we sell the house in a few years) and came up with a plan and budget that were spot-on, no "up-selling". Cody is primarily a designer and master carpenter, but he works with a close-knit group of high quality tradespeople, including electricians, plumbers, plasterers, painters, with whom he's worked for years, so you get the complete package when you hire him. He took care of the demolition, installation of new framing and a new floor, then project managed the work while the other folks did their work (there was a LOT of it). After the infrastructure work was done, Cody resumed working in his specialities, making sure that everything that was done previously was done properly. Through the entire process Cody and everyone he brought into the project did the highest quality work and were diligent and courteous at every turn. Having part of your home redone can be a pain in the neck, but I can honestly say that I enjoyed meeting everyone who worked on our basement, most especially Cody. Even our cat got to be good friends with Cody and his crew, going down to observe what was happening and get a few pats. That may sound silly, but I think it's a good indication of just what a decent person Cody is, in addition to being outstanding at his craft. We are contemplating a few more projects on our old house and you can bet that Cody will be the first person we contact.

His pricing is consistently fair, and his work exemplifies quality and precision. Steve consistently seeks to address challenges in the most effective manner. When we faced an issue with rotten siding, he was the sole contractor to propose fixing the flashing above the siding, preventing any future problems. It's this level of attention to detail and commitment that truly distinguishes him. His quotes are always fair, and very accurate. If the price goes up, he asks first and offers a variety of solutions. If the price goes down, he's always returned the excess at the end. I'd trust Steve for any project at my house, big or small.
