I called to set-up a consultation w/Diana and when I arrived @ the salon, the receptionist NEVER had NO clue what I was talking about; so I was introduced to another hairstylist, who would be coloring my hair a completely different color than I am originally use to dyeing it. I showed the stylist a pix of the exact haircolor I would like dye it and she said that there would be no problem whatsoever. I went to salon the day of my appointment (a little late b/c of traffic) and when I asked the stylist if I could see samples of what colors she was using, she refused to let me see it until I kept insisting I wanted to see it for myself. Her reasoning is b/c the "samples are deceiving." The stylist began dyeing my hair; but she was too busy talking to everybody but me. She was talking to another customer in the next chair to me and the 2 other stylists around her, not paying too much attention to me. After applying the dye, she had me sit in front of the store, where I could NOT hear myself think. The television was way too loud, other women getting their hair dyed were walking in and out smoking, one stylist was doing her own hair while the other hairstylist was getting a manicure done by someone in the salon. As I was sitting to be processed, there was dye coming down the back of my neck that I had to get a towel myself to wipe off until my hair got washed. When it was time for my hair to be shampooed, the girl must have spent 5 minutes cleaning my hairline b/c the stylist left the hair dye all over it. It came time to dry my hair and it did NOT meet my expectations at all! The color was alot darker than the picture I described and I explained my displeasure. I was told to give it a few days and if I didn't like to come back and I could have some blonde highlights put back in my hair. Before I left the salon, I asked the owner, Diana, her personal opinion and another hairstylist put her 2 cents in and said that my hair looked lighter than the pix. I did not see it. I was promised that if I was not happy w/the color, I had 10 days to come back and get blonde highlights in my hair at NO charge. I had schedule another appointment; but I was too sick. After that, NO one at the salon would return my calls and when they did, they were EXTREMELY rude, especially the owner. Even though I am still within the 10 day frame of getting my haircolor corrected, Diana stated on the phone to me that the "stylist gave me exactly what I wanted"; therefore if I wanted the color fixed it would cost $60.00" When I mentioned what the stylist had told me about if I was dissatisfied w/the darkness of hair that all I had to do was call the salon & she would fix it for "free," the owner, Diana, stated that I must pay $60.00-- no questions asked, even though I still have 2 days left on the " guarantee" the stylist promised me! This salon is very "unprofessional" and when u try to call, u can barely hear the person on the end of the phone. I would NOT recommended this salon to anyone. They do NOT stand behind their services and if you are dissatisfied with you hair color, they will talk their way out of re-doing ur hair. In fact, one stylist made a "snide" comment stating: "O, did u look in the sun and see something completely different?" My lesson out this experience: Do a couple drive-bys around the salon to see the clientele and the atmosphere around the salon. If I would have done that before my appointment, I would have seen a completely different salon than the time I went in for my consultation.

My hair was done by the owner, Ramona, and when I was there I was quoted a price between $50 to $55 dollars between no conditioner or deep conditioning. I agreed to the price of $55 for deep conditioning. This was for a wash, blowdry, straighten and curl which is my norm. In the middle of my hair washing, Ramona wanted to increase the price on me within the middle of my appointment, which I did not appreciate and I told her that we had agreed to a set price in the beginning of the appointment and as a customer it would be unfair to me having a price hike in the middle of getting my hair done. Luckily, she didn't press any further. During the process, she seemed frustrated and was really rough with my hair. I have been to this salon before and have had the other hair stylists work on my hair and they were never as rough as her. My hair was pulled roughly so that it ended up hurting,I kept getting jammed by her nails multiple times in the face, and got burned a few times while doing my hair. I understand that this may happen on occasion but this is the first time that this happened so frequently and this was my first time with Ramona doing my hair. The other hair stylists working there were not rough at all and have always been so gentle during the hair services that I receive. I am pretty sure that they were speaking ill of customers in Spanish which I did not appreciate at all. Also, another thing that I did not appreciate is that I was set to the side mid-way of my appointment so that she could first off another customer who had come after me and came to her appointment late! I was a bit annoyed at that as the process was about a good 40 minute wait to work on this customer's hair. She charged this customer only $40 dollars and whispered this to the customer for the same hair services that I was receiving! When she was finished with the customer, she started it back on me and kept on complaining to me how long it was taking to do my hair. I have been to this hair salon, and it always has taken about 3.5 hours for them to finish and style my hair and even this time it was the same. It would have been much shorter if I didn't have to wait the extra 40 minutes for her to style someone else's hair. By the time that I was finished, Ramona told me to my face that the next time I come in here that it wouldn't be $55 but $70 right inside her shop with other customers present. Did you not forget that I also waited midway during my appointment, I have my frustrations too? Overall I did not appreciate this experience with her and I believe it shall be the first and last time having her style my hair. For the record, I myself work in a career in customer service, I am respectful towards all the people I encounter in the nature of my work and at no point was I ever rude to the hair stylist and owner, Ramona, nor did I show points of annoyance with the wait and the roughness while styling my hair. Word of advice, Ramona, please treat all your customers fairly, equally and most importantly respectfully! I feel like you can definitely leave a thing or two by the service that your other staff provides and please follow suit! Normally, I would leave a tip, but due to this poor customer service, I just couldn't tip since I was not provided good customer service by you. However, overall, I thank you for doing my hair. For this, I have to provide a 1-star review.
