It's a clean gym and has lots of equipment! Also very spacious. Recommend for sure. And has a smoothie option by the entrance.

I went as a trial with a friend . The gym is nice and clean and has a lot of equipment. There are various classes to take and the availability was actual open to go We came to try the classes but had only 2 days so tried 2 days of Yoga with 2 different instructors . The first one was kind knowledgeable and shoes several ways you can do it without injurying yourself that is comfortable to you. The next one on another day had a different style and only showed the one way to do it . He said if you didn't do it the right way your not getting the effect and kept us way past the time we should be there we also tried a pump class they used a lot of weights and basically did the same thing you can do on your own with he weights but at a much faster space which hurt my knees . I do weights on my own but not with the speed. A good class for those who do not want to work out alone and need guidance and music. They offer an indoor pickleball which is different from other gyms. There is a snack machine and an area to purchase smoothies but eas closed as it's an outside vendor. The facilities was decent and clean but no paper towels that I prefer. The parking is really bad because there is only a section in front but since it is in a plaza there is a restaurant and other things next door making it hard to just park and go in need to search for spaces on busy days. The payment apparently is done on a biweekly out of your checking or credit card . They wouldn't allow full payment and said the policy changed . Which I feel takes away from the members choosing this gym. They said it just changed . My friend payed for a trial with option to cancel and decided to cancel after the 2nd day but had difficulty and took a long time until they finally did it. The distance and parking were 2 reasons she didn't join and decided we would stay at the local city one. They have longer hours then he city of that's what someone may want early or late . During a weeklong vacation, I bought a week's pass to work out here. It served its purpose. It has a good range of weight machines, and a huge selection of cardio machines. The clientele wasn't unfriendly, and everyone worked out in a positive environment. Some things to work on: 1. The music is pumped up too loudly. I like to workout to my own beats, as most people do, so it was really unnecessary. 2. They really need more dumbbells and benches. It was always very hard to get a bench in the dumbbell area. 3. A few more mats in the stretching area would have been useful. Overall, if I vacation in the area again, I will be back. It was worth the price of admission. read more

I highly advise against signing up with this YouFit (or ANY YouFit). I signed up at this location in 2019 with my employer, who paid half my membership fee. When I was laid off during the COVID-19 pandemic, someone at this gym created a duplicate account -- with an incorrect phone number -- without my consent or knowledge, so they could continue charging me when my corporate account was cancelled. When I noticed that roughly $12 was still coming out of my account, I swung by the Deerfield location to make sure my membership was cancelled. The man behind the desk looked me up using my phone number and confirmed that my corporate account had been cancelled for a long time. He showed me the screen, so I could see with my own eyes that my account was cancelled and my balance was $0. He suggested that, maybe, I was seeing old charges... and let it go. Months later, I got a notification from Experian that there was a delinquent account under my name, through YouFit, for which $135 was sent to COLLECTIONS. When I called the Deerfield location, they found the same cancelled account under my phone number... but a *different account* under my name, with an incorrect phone number. This is the account that was sent to collections, as the debit card it was charging those $12 to expired. They were not old charges as was suggested to me; they only stopped because my card expired. The manager at Deerfield said that this account must've "spun off my corporate account somehow," and he was unable to do anything because they didn't have a cancellation agreement on file from me. He then referred me to a YouFit corporate email bucket, because apparently there is not a phone number, and they have yet to email me back. So, now I am stuck... Living in a completely different city, needing to drive all the way down to Deerfield to cancel this account I did not consent to, with a delinquent account on my credit, apparently needing to pay $135 I did not consent to pay in the first place. This is a nightmare. If I could give them 0 stars, I would. Shame on them. read more

I am just starting at this gym. It took us some time to get me matched with the right trainer but the staff are d super sweet and friendly ensay. Christopher manages the place and he is always s there to answer your questions and give you solutions. I have a solo members up which allows me a guest each time I go so my hubby essentially has a membership also. For $24.99 a month you get full access to everything including yoga, full body workouts, Pilates, Zumba, my favorite (Serge is the best!!) and they now have pickle ball. They also offer silver sneakers programs which is fantastic. You have a variety of members at the gym from younger to "I've been around for awhile" ages. Thanks have a personal trainer bc it's been a while since I've been to the gym and don't want to hurt myself as I get back into working out. I felt like goldilocks....first trainer was too young and I have some some specific areas I want to target at my age that he didn't get, second trainer had the experience and the technology and was also great but I felt like we weren't really targeting the best match- again, it's all me- the I'm 48 and a woman and have had some surgeries so I was looking for what I will call "the pro". Enter Andres, he gets me 100%. Professional? Targeting the areas I need/want, pushes me and gives me alternatives and has taught me to use some machines for when I'm at the gym on my own. Absolutely love him!! The faculty is clean and they really do a great job of having enough free weight items, mays etc to go around. So, why the 4 stars instead of 5. Two reasons: the first is that I was recently charged an annual maintenance fee of which I was not made aware when I signed the contract. It's my bad bud I asked what the costs were and asked "$24.99 per month plus $180 for 4 sessions with a trainer and that's it?" a couple of times and was told "that's it" lol ACH time. Again, I should have it at d more attention and realize that guns have this, hence the question, but should have been more precise in the question, I guess. Still giving done pints off just bc I felt like it was treated like a hidden fee. Second: it rains and the rain taking lot floods and I mean floods. Not really the guns fault but they need to speak with building management on this one. If I could, please d give 4.5 stars but alas I don't have that option. I would absolutely recommend this gym. I've been wanting to join a new gym since my current gym has let me down. My cousin has been coming to Youfit for awhile and she invited me as her guest. She pays a bit more than the regular membership so that she can bring guests for no fee and she can use other locations too. So my cousin began to bring me as her guest for the past couple months. They have lots of machines for cardio and weight training. The only bad thing is we come around 7pm and that is when the gym is SUPER BUSY. Sometimes it gets hard to find a machine to use or you have to wait a little bit. But if you can come around 8pm then the gym is a lot quieter. They also offer spinning classes and zumba and I can't wait to try them both when I join as a member. And I really love the fact they offer night classes for spinning. I've had a membership here for years and have my streaks of going on a regular basis and my streaks of not going. Trying to get back on my going streak! I do the treadmill and elliptical, so I can't comment on the weight area and machines, but there seem to be quite a lot of machines and weights. I believe classes are also offered. Parking can get crazy during prime time hours. There is a Chinese buffet next-door and a movie theater a few doors down, so that could have something to do with it. I have the Lime card and like that I'm not locked into going to any one location. I highly recommend this chain of gyms. read more

I feel that this is the best location in my area. It's the largest Youfit location I've been to. It has plenty of machines for the volume. I don't have to wait very long in between workouts. It's very clean. I've never seen it messy here. The staff is friendly. Can't ask for much more. It's not open 24 hours like the one in Boca, but I feel like it's a nicer facility. It does get extremely busy in the afternoon between five and eight. I would advise you not to go during these times if you feel uneasy around large amounts of people. I feel that either go in late at night or super early in the morning like I do (5:30am) allows me to focus on what I'm doing, have no worries about machines being full. But, I'm happy all in all no matter what time I'm there. The place is great. read more

Excellent gym for all types. Staff: Manager Chris runs a tight ship. His staff - specifically Brian and Gabriel - are extremely helpful and friendly. They answer any question you have regarding machines or weights, and any assistance you might need. People: You get a nice mix of people, and everyone is really friendly. Old and young, teens, some serious lifters and guys, and gals, like me and my wife, just trying to keep fit. However, no intimidating types. My wife, who just started working out, and was lost in the gym at first, feels right at home. Also, it is not very crowded most of the time- which my wife and I love. Equipment: Has a great mix of equipment. Enough heavy free weights for the more serious lifter, but light weights for those trying to stay toned and lean. A great mix of machines for every body part. Also has universal machines, which are my favorite. For those who like to do cardio also - like me - the gym has all various types of machines, treadmills, bikes, ellipticals, and Stairmasters with TV monitors on every unit. The universal, and cardio equipment all seem new and in great shape. Finally, YouFit recently brought in new - top of line - machines, which are only found at very select gyms. Price/Cost: Very reasonable on the budget, not much more than $10 dollars a month which is a great price. Can also get a higher price (but not much higher - I believe around twenty) for those wanting to go to multi-sites. Locker Room: Locker room is extremely clean - cleaned by staff several times a day. I also use the showers - which are clean, private, and very modern - after every workout. Parking: Parking is never a problem since there are numerous spots available at Deerfield Mall. Location: Excellent location - easily accessible - right on Hillsboro - for those driving. Also, I see some members walking to the gym since public transportation buses have stops close to the gym. In fact, I live in Deercreek close to Hillsboro - and have walked to the gym on several occasions. Child Care: The gym also offers child care - at a nominal cost - when parents are working out, an added plus. Classes: Although I do not take the classes, the gym also offers many exercise group classes for those interested. Personal Training: The gym offers high-quality personal training - at a very reasonable cost - for those interested. I enjoy the classes they offer, especially the body sculpting ones, too bad they don't have any on Fridays. It seems it's time to write a review on a gym. I never have written a review for a gym before but this Youfit is that good. I have been to a couple other locations, and like all gym chains there is a wide array good and not-so-good spots to hit. All Youfit's have one credo that seem consistent all locations. Lean. And I am not referring to the work out goal you may have. Youfit only charges 10 dollars generally so they have a lean budget for extra gym extravagances. There is no track or pool or climbing wall(not at any i have been too). Instead they focus on the necessities to get the work out done right. And that doesn't mean cheap machines. This location has enough stair-steppers, row machines and other cardio options to always have a machine open for get a sweat. And the equipment is top of the line too. For example for calves there is a standing and a seated calf raise. They have machines I haven't seen in a while in any gym. From cost to equipment this is the an excellent gym. You won't find a pool to do laps in but you will get a budget conscious workout. read more

I returned to this location to see 3 out of the 4 stair master machines out of order that have been broken for the last month and a half still not fixed. On June 2020, I tried to cancel my YouFit membership over the phone. I was requested to do it in person. I therefore visited the YouFit in Deerfield Beach. The person who helped me suggested to freeze my membership for one year at no cost. When I was checking my credit card statement at the end of October 2020, I realized that YouFit charged me the monthly fee for October 2020, as well as the annual membership. I called YouFit customer service. I was advised that it was not possible to freeze my membership for a year. In other words, I was called a liar. I was also told that I needed to visit the YouFit in Deerfield Beach to cancel in person my membership.... Really, in person!!!!! I went yesterday (November 4, 20202) to the YouFit in Deerfield Beach to cancel and get a refund. The manager on duty (Bre Chin) only offered to apply the value of the month of October to the month of November. NOT FAIR! So... I lose and YouFit wins! Your clients come to the gym not only to engage in burning workout, but also to spend some quality time. If your front desk staff ignores your members or communicates with them in a displeasing manner, half of the experience is ruined from the beginning. This has been my experience here at this location. The low energy and straight up arrogance I have received from both Cameron and Marcia at the front has been beyond displeasing. The front desk is the "command center" for the entire facility and it will effect a member's mood with inefficient customer service. I canceled my membership after three visits due this. Not worth my time, money and energy. A simple smile can win you loyal customers. All you need to do is to train your staff to greet your members as warmly as possible. The cheapest is $10 per month, which is affordable for just about anyone looking to get in shape, but I think the lime card, at $20 per month (month-to-month payments), is the way to go. It grants you access to any other YouFit location, unlimited guest passes, and can get you into specific classes. The environment is welcoming, and the staff members are upbeat and engage in the occasional chitchat. Overall, it's a clean, basic gym free of obnoxious "meatheads." If I must nit-pick, I'll call out the gym's Wi-Fi because it can be a little dodgy -- it doesn't happen all the time, but it happens. Youfit is going out of business! Even though they are going out of business and are probably going to sell off each location they still charged my charge card for renewing my membership. I haven't even gone there since March because of the pandemic. When I called to cancel it they said that it had to be done at the corporate headquarters. I was told that there was no phone # to reach them directly. I went to my Youfit location to cancel they said the same thing. So I told them to put my membership under my insurance company's free membership program. They did switch it and my insurance company paid for it. The problem is they never refunded my charge card. Basically I'm being charged twice for a membership that I don't want, haven't used and won't use until the pandemic is pretty much over. Despite talking to the manager at least 3 or 4 times and e-mailing the corporate headquarters even more times than that, there has been no response and no refund. This is by far the worst run company I have ever dealt with and we all know there are a lot of bad companies out there. read more

EXTREMELY LONG BUT WORTH THE READ!!!! (3 MONTHS and no one will reach out to you - NO CARE FOR THEIR CUSTOMERS!) ~~This review is strictly on the service you receive from the corporate/ location staff: Back in February my account was put on hold instead of being cancelled by the front desk attendant. The charged me for 5 months before I realized and asked for a refund. After calling the BOCA RATON location they said I had no cancel form on file which was odd. Let me mention that I had previously cancelled with them the year prior and has a cancellation policy form filled out and they still charged me anyways. Had to get a refund for that one. Now, the attendant (excessive turnout with this company) who doesn't work there anymore, put my account on hold (which is an option I wasn't aware of and wouldn't request because I was leaving for the remainder of the year - hence the cancellation) and this caused me to rack up 5 months of charges. I've exhausted every option to get a refund from this company. I've called multiple location to speak with managers and a GM (who are also new due to turnover) and I've driven several hours to their "corporate office" which is just this gym location, to have no one even listen. Here's a timeline of what we're looking at: September 21st: Noticed my account was charged for (4) months after being closed in February. Spoke with Chris Valladares (new manager at BOCA RATON location) and he informed me he would handle this issue since my account wasn't closed but instead put it on hold. September 22nd: Account is charged for a 5th time after being told that my account was being handled. September 29th: Spoke with Amanda from corporate number. She informed me I needed to email info@youfit.com and that the Customer Service Rep would get back to me in 72 hours. September 30th: Haven't heard from anyone (at BOCA) so I call Chris back only to find out my account wasn't closed and nothing had been addressed on my issue. There were no notes put in when the individual put my account on hold and the manager AND general manager at the time don't work with Youfit any longer. Informed me that my account was NOW closed and that he would CC me on an email to his GM per my request. I was NEVER CC'd on an email which leads me to believe it was never issued. October 7th: Spoke with Amanda from corporate again. Her poor customer service attitude informed me that there's no one I can talk to but her and when I asked for her supervisor's information she stated that she could email them for me but she has to wait just like everybody else. October 10th: Drove from my location in north florida to the "corporate office" off Hillsboro Rd. in Deerfield Beach only to find out that there aren't any corporate employees there. The manager on-site (COREY) was very nice and understanding. He informed me that he'd been at the location for 4-years and the GM just started the previous week (Jarrett Jennings). I forwarded him the email chain after explaining to him what had been happening and left. October 15th: Today marks almost an entire month where not one single person has responded to me from this Youfit company. I've attached two photos via email of airline receipts showing that I wasn't in the state for most of the year and therefore whoever closed out my account erroneously put it on hold instead of closing me out. October 18th: info@youfit emails me back finally stating "There is nothing on your account to support a proper cancellation notice being submitted or a $10 cancellation fee was paid therefore we are unable to process a refund for this membership.". Their support took made no effort to communicate with me their customer and i will have not heard from them ever again. October 25th: Called the "corporate office" location again to find out that the regional manager Jarrett Jennings will be processing the refund despite what info@youfit stated and notified info@youfit through email as well. October 27th - Jarrett Jennings confirms via email that refund has been completed it I will be receiving it in 7-10 business days. November 22nd - Never received refund. Emailed Jarrett Jennings to make sure refund was actually issued out since it's been close to a month! November 24th - Jarrett Jennings stated there's a hold on my card (a card I use everyday and doesn't have any issues) and that i'll need to supply an address for a check to be mailed. Same day I replied with email stating where to mail the check to. 12/3 - I called the "corporate office" deerfield beach location to follow up with my email and CHRIS V!!! answers the phone because he's the new manager there. He informed me that Corey has left this location after 4 years! and that he'll take a message for Jarrett Jennings and he'll get back to me. I worked out yesterday at this location for the first time because I was in the area and I was pleasantly surprised in how spacious and CLEAN this location was! It was a Sunday so not a lot of people were there which made all the weight machines accessible to use right away! Love this location. Even when it's busy, it's not that bad. They have a big weights area, and two smith machines. All other machines are spaced out well and in its own big area. They have a studio, which means classes! They also have an area in the back with a mirror, light weights, and dumbbells. Great area for abs too. They have a child care area. It's only opened during certain times, I think till 12 pm then opens back up at 5 pm. Their bathrooms are nice but small -- about three showers. Clean. The staff is nice and the gym is clean. They also just opened a juice bar inside the gym!! Haven't checked it out yet, but I will at some point. Parking could be bad sometimes because it's a busy plaza but you can park far -- there's plenty of spots. read more
