Hands down the BEST GYM I've EVER been to. I'm not saying this to advertise or help make sales: this place is just that good. This gym has a machine for every single muscle group, no joke. You will definitely walk out sore in the best way. The open windows and natural lighting keep it from feeling like a dungeon, and honestly make you want to work out longer. I've been to a lot of gyms, and this one is absolutely top-tier. The staff is amazing too--there's a lady who walks around cleaning like it's her own home. The place is spotless. And the crowd? Only serious gym rats show up, which keeps the environment focused and legit. Those super low-cost gyms that take anyone just don't compare--they lose that true workout atmosphere. I love my gym!!! Where do I start with these people. Long story short even before I had an issue with them billing me several times after I asked to take my credit card off file they treated us as if we were going to break their equipment. Every time a weight hit the floor I would get an evil stare and then eventually got reprimanded. It's gym not a museum right lol? And no I wasn't throwing weights around being disrespectful. I was down in Florida in July 2025 for 2 1/2 weeks and wanted to try this place because it was new. So I bought a one month membership for myself and my wife and then asked to freeze the account until we come back down to Florida since we live in New Jersey. We did everything through a gentlemen named Mac who understood our situation that we wouldn't be coming back down until the next year. I got billed the next month accidentally and he refunded me and apologized. At that time I asked him to take my card off file. Fast forward to January and I've been getting billed the last 3 months after several phone calls with the owner and emails sent without a response. Today was the last straw as I called AGAIN to have my card removed and to be refunded. I mentioned that I'm going to have my bank reverse the charges and he started calling me a jack ass and saying why don't I come and say this to his face because he felt "threatened" and will sue me if I do it. I can't say enough awful things about the people here except for Mac who actually doesn't even work there anymore probably because he was nice. The fact that I asked several times for the card to be taken off file and it hasn't been is severely alarming. Anyone that is traveling and thinking about Joining beware. They told me something completely different than what the contract said. Stupid me for taking their word for it and not reviewing the contract. Not keeping your word says a lot about a business. I am extremely disappointed with my experience at All Star Gym. Not only did I experience a theft of a valuable personal item while at the gym, but the way my concerns were handled afterward was even more upsetting. When I called to report the incident and bring it to the gym's attention, the employee who answered the phone was incredibly rude and disrespectful. He spoke to me in an aggressive tone, cursed at me directly, and refused to provide his name when I asked. He was working the morning of June 5, 2026. Throughout the conversation, I remained calm and patient, simply trying to get assistance regarding a very stressful situation. As a female, I felt uncomfortable and intimidated by the way he spoke to me. On top of this, I also experienced ongoing billing issues with the gym. Despite multiple attempts to get answers and resolve the matter, my calls and concerns went unanswered. The lack of communication and customer service has been extremely frustrating. Losing something valuable is difficult enough, but being treated with such hostility when seeking help made the experience far worse. Between the theft, the billing problems, and the poor customer service, this has been an awful experience from start to finish. I have been a member of and visited many gyms over the years, and I have never encountered service like this. A gym should be a welcoming, professional, and respectful environment for its members, and unfortunately, that was not my experience here. The climate and culture at this gym clearly need improvement, particularly when it comes to customer service, professionalism, accountability, and member safety. I hope management takes these concerns seriously so that other members do not have to go through a similar experience. read more

All Star Gym is the best gym in Pompano Beach and my favorite in all of Broward County. Super clean, everything is brand NEW, great variety of cutting edge equipment and the owner Jeff is top tier. They have variations of machines you've never see before. If you want the best equipment, clean facility and high quality people then you pick all star. All the members are respectful and serious about working it. It is a premium gym and you get the premium gym experience. Since it's structured the way it is you can literally get uninterrupted workouts at the highest level. Being a member here has accelerated my gains and is my favorite place to be. Couldn't recommend more if you're looking for a new weight training gym. read more

Was ready to join. I Called to ask a few questions and the older guy who I think is the owner was very rude over the phone. I figured whatever let me check it out in person and the guy was just as rude in person. Also just a heads up you won't be able to take a look at the gym before you pay, they put you in a spectators box marked by tape on the floor and make sure to let you know you're not allowed to step over the taped down line unless you pay lol. The staff seemed nice and the gym looked clean and cool themed machines but not being able to tour the gym with the staff or having a rude owner changed my mind on signing up. This was I believe $100/mo and I feel like there are ow $15/mo gyms that felt more eager for my business I don't like leaving bad reviews but I wanted to be honest read more

I don't typically write reviews but I felt the need to offset whatever dummie recommended LA fitness over this gym, that's like recommending McDonald's over a Michelin stared restaurant. This gym is a work of art, you can tell the owner poured his heart and sweat into it and on top of that it's impeccable. I spent a few weeks looing around at what gym I wanted to join and I settled on All Star. This gym was a bit more expensive then the other gyms but the quality of the equipment and the cleanliness really made the decision easy for me. I also spent some time with the owner Jeff and he went over all the equipment with me. This gym is new and bright and feels upscale. I like that it is not a complete zoo. All the staff have been helpful to me if I needed anything so no complaints there. I highly suggest this gym if you want to get in shape. I will add some pics this week! read more

DO NOT waste your time and money! I had gone to try a new place opposed to my usual LA fitness right down the street. What a HORRIBLE experience. The staff is very disrespectful and inexperienced. The gym was also pretty small. I would definitely recommend staying across the street at LA fitness. read more
