So I left Theater 13 when I saw that the Super Mario Brothers was playing, and found a manager who quickly fixed it, hence the three stars over a one star. I didn't want to wait until the next showing which was much later, so he just said go to another theater inside the building. He was very apologetic. What the theater needs to do is have a list of which movies are playing in what theater so there is no mix up like this again.

I will say though that they don't play every single movie currently out, but I think it's because this location is small. My only complaint would be that I wish there would have been a heads up about the Christmas parade happening when we came into town on the Challenger website. Waze/Google Maps both showed the same path to get there but most of the nearby streets were blocked off with no alternative routes so getting to the parking garage was a nightmare. Luckily we were way early and still made it with 30 minutes to spare. Other than that one issue, a great visit. We will be coming in more often now that we are aware they are there.

This past Saturday of Mother's Day weekend was my first time attending a ballet performance since…read morebefore the pandemic. I will always be grateful for how this non-profit organization kept us entertained while we were "sheltering in place" by creating and sharing videos of various informal performances done around town. Certainly kept us engaged and just compassionate regarding the complete shutdown of their livelihood. In any case, my daughter and I attended the "Invitation To The Party" (a celebration of diversity in music and dance featuring jazz, gospel, R&B, and more), which was held at Ruby Diamond Auditorium. Absolutely loved it, especially the diversity involved in the various numbers that were performed. There was live music by the Tallahassee Jazz Symphony; Leon Anderson and Avis Berry never disappoint! We were also treated by listening to Macia Porter, who was unknown to me. She performed wonderfully as well. We simply enjoyed the entire show. Kudos to ballet dancers, the choreographers, and all others who had a hand in this performance!
