She is amazing with the kids and provides a love of learning and a great environment for the kids! She is well organized and makes each child feel special! I love the teaching philosophy at this school and how they respond to the kids in a very caring way! The kids do a lot of hands on projects which I love! The kids are provided with many manipulatives in the classroom and are given lots of opportunities to explore with these manipulatives in a quality way! I am very happy!!

My daughter has been attending for almost a year now, since she turned one last April, and the growth I have seen in her has been incredible. She is happy when she walks in, she is learning so much, and she is genuinely thriving in every way. From day one, we felt so welcomed. The staff made the transition smooth with their warmth, communication, and care, and it quickly felt like a place where my daughter truly belongs. A special thank you to Ms. Erma. The love, patience, and attention you give her every day means so much to me. I can see how comfortable and safe she feels with you, and I am so grateful for the role you have played in her growth and confidence. To the entire team, thank you for everything you do. You have created such a positive, nurturing environment where children are supported, encouraged, and excited to learn. Knight Academy sent me my 2020 tax information showing at the end of the year I had a negative balance of -280.00. When I emailed back to ask if I was owed a refund staff emailed back and stated that- they would get back to me the next day. I waited a few weeks figuring they were busy. I sent a follow up email and got no response. I gave it a few more days then when I tried to call about the issue on a Friday afternoon my call went to voicemail. 7 times. It is VERY strange for a daycare to not answer in the middle of a Friday so that's when I realized they were avoiding me. After blocking my number I was able to get a hold of someone who told me to contact the director. I tried to email director for a simple question of "Am I owed a refund or not?" and it bounced back which has never happened to my emails to them before. Based off all this I would not recommend this company to anyone I know.

Knight Academy notified TOPA parents of a spring break camp on 3/2 with spring break starting on 3/6. That should have been the first red flag. But we signed our daughter up thinking it would be fun for her to hang out with her classmates at Knight Academy on her campus during the week-long spring break camp. The spring break camp confirmation email was riddled with spelling errors and conflicting information about where the camp would be held. Pretty sketchy coming from an "educational academy". Second red flag. Then on Sunday morning - the day before the first day of spring break camp -we get an email that camp had been cancelled due to lack of registrations. What did they think would happen when they notify parents four days before camp begins that there's even going to be a camp?? Third red flag. Their camp cancellation notice also stated that refunds had been processed and would be received in 5-7 business days. We're on business day 19 and still haven't received a refund. Four red flags now... The icing on the cake and the fifth and final red flag was the additional notification we received through their payment system - Active Advantage - that we had been signed up for a MONTHLY Active.com membership for $89.95 that we did not agree to (google active advantage membership scam if you want details). Thus ensued a way too complicated series of emails to Active Advantage's customer service department demanding that the membership we "agreed to" be canceled. Turns out the "join" button is pre-selected "yes" when you check out. If you don't catch it and de-select you're in for a fun ride and out $90/month. Pretty gross business practice IMHO. Avoid this place unless you have no alternatives. As stated at the top - we've heard wonderful things about the teachers but management at Knight Academy needs to get it together if they want to be taken seriously as an "educational academy".

Updated Review for Estrella KinderCare…read more My son has been at Estrella KinderCare since he was 3 months old. For a long time, I truly felt confident in this center. While our early experience was positive, everything changed once he entered the toddler room. My son came home more than once with unexplained injuries. I picked him up once and discovered his mouth was bloody. I asked what happened, his teacher said, "I have no idea what happened." That answer was not only dismissive--it was alarming. He also had two separate incident reports for falling off classroom furniture--once from a table and another time from a chair. My question is this: if a teacher is truly supervising toddlers, how on earth is a child able to climb onto a table, stand long enough to fall, and get hurt--all without anyone noticing or stopping it? Toddlers are quick, yes, but that's exactly why supervision matters. Not long after, I personally witnessed a toddler teacher at Estrella KinderCare physically pushed a child down, causing him to fall and cry. The moment I saw that, I could not help but wonder if this was how my own son's injuries had occurred. It's one thing to get an "accident report." It's another to see with your own eyes how a teacher treats the children in their care. I immediately reported the incident to the director, Josie. She seemed concerned and assured me the teacher had been placed on leave pending an investigation. I wanted to believe her. But the very next day, when I arrived to pick up my son, that same teacher was in the toddler classroom--chatting and laughing with other staff. When I asked why she was there, I was told she was just picking up her own child. But here's the issue: if a teacher is supposedly on leave for pushing a toddler, why is she being allowed back into the classroom, interacting with the same kids? To me, that looked less like accountability and more like damage control. I have walked into the toddler room and seen teachers with their backs turned to the children while using their cell phones/the classroom iPads. As an educator myself, I cannot overstate how unacceptable that is. I am responsible for a classroom of children every day. I know what proper supervision looks like, and I know what negligence looks like. What I saw at KinderCare was negligence. At that point, my trust is gone. I unenrolled my son immediately. If you have a child in the toddler room at Estrella KinderCare, please be mindful of what's happening. Aggressive behavior toward children should never be tolerated, and yet here, it was brushed aside. What's worse is that the staff culture seems more interested in protecting each other than protecting the children. After pulling my son out, I decided to dig deeper. I looked up reports from the Arizona Department of Health Services regarding Estrella KinderCare. What I found shocked me--but it also, sadly, didn't surprise me. This center had already been cited for poor supervision of children by teachers and for excessive incident reports. These are the exact issues my son continued to experience almost a full year after those citations were issued. In other words, nothing had changed. The problems were documented, known, and ongoing. I'll be attaching screenshots of these reports in my review so other parents can see them as well. I gave Estrella KinderCare the benefit of the doubt too many times, and my son paid the price. Please, if you are considering sending your child here: don't. It's not worth the risk. There are caring teachers in this world, but the culture of this particular center feels broken and unsafe. For transparency, I'm leaving my original review below to show just how quickly things changed: My son has been going to Estrella KinderCare since he was 3 months old. He's now almost 2 years old and thriving! I can feel how loved he is by all the staff as soon as we step into the building. Any time I have a concern or issue, it is handled quickly. I can genuinely say that my child enjoys being dropped off every morning! Thank you to all the KinderCare teachers!

At first, I was a little nervous about the bi-lingual curriculum (I don't speak Spanish), but it has been great. They emphasize independence, self-control and curiosity. Most importantly, they model the behavior they want the children to learn. Manners, respect, and care! The teachers are excellent, personable and patient. The care that they put into the curriculum is outstanding. Each activity is arranged with thought and purpose. My daughter is encouraged every day to pursue what she wants to learn, and persist until she has mastered a skill. She does art, Kindermusik, yoga, and works with physical materials that are preparing her for reading, writing, and math. She is also learning to master practical skills like buttons, lacing, washing, and pretty much everything! She also plays outside. I also want to mention the emphasis on health here. The snacks are healthy, and they expect you to pack a healthy lunch for your child or use the meal service. But also they teach the kids table manners, food preparation, and how to approach eating as a "meal" activity that is bonding rather than just a "break". I know I already said it, but I really love this place! They really try to engage the parents in what they are trying to accomplish, and want to really know your child so they can best guide and teach them. This place is a gem!!

I receive DAILY photos and updates of food, activities, naps & potty times of my daughter. Ms. Samantha(I hope I got her name correct) always makes it her duty to come out of her office (located as soon as you walk in to your right) and make sure everything is going well with not just the children but you as a parent. The front desk staff are all so welcoming and they make sure to remember who your kid is which makes this experience all the more better for the parent. I feel extremely safe and secure with my daughter attending this facility and I couldn't be any happier with the choice. The prices tend to fluctuate but never more than a few dollars and if you have any questions about your pricing the girls never hesitate to print you up statements of what your being charged and the best part of this all they also have an area on the TLE app where you see these exact things as well.
