We were clearly explained and included in the therapy, and CARD provided in-school therapy working with the teachers, in-home therapy as well as center based and "community" therapy where therapists went with us out in the world as our child interacted. We always had a clearly communicated plan and they were quick to adapt and evolve the plan as our son's needed changed and evolved. Our son learned skills here most importantly that can help him interact with the world. I'd recommend ABA and CARD based on our experience for sure.

We began aggressive ABA therapy and Caleb might be able to live independently soon. Every problem and issue we bring to light is taken care of as a team. We are consistent in all contacts with our son. At 3 yrs old Caleb would have 3+ hour tantrums, was echolalic, and no eye contact. CARD has been instrumental in his progress. While we have had little blips in the road (schedules that need to be adjusted, etc) overall my family is very thankful to CARD and their services. We have had so many therapists over the years - too many to thank, and it was good Becca use Caleb had to adapt to change. Our supervisor, Torie, is doing and excellent job in preparing Caleb to live independently. ABA therapy and CARD services is a team sport, meaning there must be consistency throughout the persons life...school, home, grandparents, etc. For the record our son is diagnosed with moderate to severe autism with ID.

The front staff at the Norco location are always incredibly helpful, patient, and welcoming. I tend to ask a million questions, and they never make me feel like a bother, they always take the time to make sure my schedule is taken care of and that I have everything I need. The facility itself is clean, well-maintained, and very organized. Everyone we've encountered has been friendly, professional, and truly invested in the kids they work with. It gives me peace of mind knowing my son is in such a supportive and positive space. I would highly recommend Leaps and Bounds to any parent looking for services like PT, OT, speech therapy, or any specialized support for their child. We've had nothing but a great experience!

I felt that she did not allow enough time for my child to transition and adjust before ending the session, and her manner felt rushed and harsh. As a parent, I suggested that next time my child be given a brief moment to finish cleaning up the toys, especially since there were still five minutes scheduled for parent discussion, which were not used. She did not acknowledge this suggestion and instead stated that she needed to end the session because she had another patient. At that time, our session had not yet ended, and there were still approximately three minutes remaining in the parent discussion period. I explained that allowing less than 30 seconds to clean up helps prevent triggering my child, as children on the spectrum can be very sensitive to abrupt transitions. Unfortunately, her response and facial expression felt cold and dismissive, which made the interaction uncomfortable. I was disappointed by this experience, as I expected a higher level of patience and understanding from a professional working in this field. Effective therapy requires flexibility, empathy, and collaboration with parents, and I did not feel those qualities were demonstrated during this session.

A special thank you to Ms. Katelyn, Ms. Salina, Ms. Shaniece, Ms. Melina, Ms. Maryam, and Ms. Tammie, each of you has shown such patience, warmth, and genuine love for our child. From helping with milestones to offering endless encouragement and comfort, you've made such a positive impact on our little one's growth and happiness. We also want to recognize the admin team and all of the other teachers who step in and support the classroom whenever needed. It's clear that everyone here works together as a family to create a nurturing, safe, and joyful environment for every child. We leave every day knowing our little one is surrounded by people who truly care and that peace of mind means everything. Thank you for making this first year such an amazing start to our child's journey!
