He suggested we call others to see about the floor damage. Most importantly, unbeknown to us, he did not unhook the leaking dishwasher from plumbing, disconnect the power, or inform us that he had stopped the dishwasher mid-cycle. We did not think to ask about this, as we assumed the dishwasher would sit there until it and the floor were replaced. No options were given. He charged us and left. We decided to wait to replace the dishwasher until the floor was fixed, not realizing there was a ticking time bomb in the kitchen. After drying the floor out for three weeks, someone happened to fully close the dishwasher door and it started up again and leaked all over the kitchen floor! I am shocked. Who leaves a client in this position? At least give them the option to disconnect the plumbing and electrical or even pay extra and have the unit taken away. Needless to say I have called JB Plumbing back tonight (Thursday) at 9pm when this happened. A very nice service clerk answered the phone but the first appointment they have is next week. I have asked to speak to the owner. At this point I cannot recommend JB Plumbing, unless you are savvy enough to make sure the plumber did his job!

It was a different tech and ended up being quite a different experience. (The tech was nice, professional, and punctual.) Without typing out the whole fiasco experience, let's just say we won't be calling them back again. We were extremely disappointed since we were hoping to find a regular go to plumber for anything in the future. The problem is hopefully, permanently fixed but after we were told to buy the replacement kit/part which ended up being a faulty spigot and couldn't be returned because the technician took the box, the final 3rd trip, a $400.+ bill not counting the cost of the kit we ordered, and last but not least a very arrogant, rude co-owner who wouldn't let you get a word in.........well let's just say the pictures should speak for themselves. It was a lot of money for sloppy "shoddy" work. A spigot that's not the same as the original one we purchased/ordered, that's not flush with the tub and obviously angled down, and now 2 cutouts in the closet. Oh and look at the picture at what happened to the hot/cold plate that the Tech soldered. He never said a word about the damage. We didn't notice it right away. We had to replace it also ourselves. We can't honestly say that this was a good experience at all. A senior citizen retiree nightmare. Now we have to somehow either caulk the awkward wide gap ourselves or call a different plumber to fix this mess. We're not made of money and we sure don't think people are these days. Was told that this fee applies to all jobs, large and small. We live less than five miles from Pittman's office, and evaluation took about 10 minutes ... but we still get the same fee as for million-dollar homes surrounding the area's posh lake communities? Does not sound reasonable or fair. Guess we need a new electrician for those annual maintenance calls and major equipment installs, since Pittman doesn't seem to care about retirees on limited budgets.
