We had a last minute change (one day delay) in the delivery that was accommodated. The morning of delivery I called and spoke to a nice woman on the phone. She gave me a window of delivery that would be within an hour to an hour and a half. The truck actually showed up about 20 minutes outside of the estimate, but no worries. The driver arrived and we showed him where we wanted it dumped in the street. It was expertly dumped and I even made a video because my grandson loves all things construction. Our contractor's work crew arrived soon after and got to work. It actually started to rain partway while it was being spread in the backyard. The decomposed granite actually kind of "hardens" in a good way. Still pliable when you walk on it but it doesn't stick to your shoe like sand. We've been happy with the product and i was happy with my interaction with the company. The prices seem fair. They have all kinds of stone and gravel shown on their website. Check it out!

From the first phone call, they were professional, helpful, concise, and definitely knew what they were doing. They put me on their 6 week schedule and came out within a few weeks for the first treatment. To date, I have only had two treatments and my lawn is already one of the best on my street. Each time they have come out, they spend 20+ minutes on my yard. You can tell they actually care vs the last company that did a 5-10 minute "spray and pray". Highly recommend in every way! Six pretty good sized men showing up at one woman's house is definitely overkill. Six men showing up at your house would be scary to some women!!! It's surely NOT wise!!! Some of these guys could have sat in one of their trucks instead of just standing around. Anyway, 2 of the fellas - evidently worker bees - went under my house while everyone else stood around. They looked around, & saw the how the previous plumber had blocked my access to the rest of the plumbing & came out to tell their bosses. They told the Main Boss how all my plumbing was PVC pipe. He made it very plain that he wasn't pleased to hear that. He said that he doesn't like working with PVC. Maybe he doesn't do drain lines. I explained to him that I needed that one drainage line moved (rerouted,) so that it didn't block my path & I wanted the water lines wrapped for the Winter, so they wouldn't freeze. I don't think I told them that I needed the drainage lines strapped up which is another thing the previous plumber failed to do. Anyway, they didn't want to dig under the line that was blocking the access to see the rest of the plumbing behind it, so they really couldn't give me a real estimate, but the head guy said they'd do the work. I wasn't impressed! I don't do half or maybe estimates, or just hire folks NOT knowing what all is involved & how much money I am going to spend!!! So, no thank you, K&K!!!

Between all of the rain, they had to excavate, wait for the ground to dry, then come back to install the pool, pour the concrete footing, complete the backfill, do the framing, and finally pour the concrete decking--all while working around the rainstorms. They made the best use of every dry day they had. The entire team was professional, courteous, and respectful of my work schedule, making the process as easy as possible for me. Now that everything is complete and the weather has finally cooperated, we are absolutely loving our new backyard! The pool and decking turned out beautiful, and it was worth the wait. I really appreciated the informative contract that they go over with you. It has lots of information and any questions I had they answered. It was super easy to text or email them and get a response. They don't take accountability for anything and are blaming everything on a third party contractor that we had no knowledge from the beginning that they would even be a part of our project. Now they are withholding our refund until we sign a form releasing them of any accountability. That is not standard business practice. Also Mike W. who commented on these reviews that he had a spa and pool put up by the company is the owner of NTX pools along with his wife Shara W. its public record...look it up. we were told by their son who does the installations on the pools that our refund would be coming and they still refuse to give it to us and are no longer answering our emails. response to their comment: Every company that I have ever worked with has been up front that they will be using a third party. We were never told that. I do know how things work so don't try to patronize me. we have signed forms that the work is done after every step. You are adding in a new form and trying to get us to sign it. There is no "going to bat for us". My contract was not with the concrete company it was with NTX/NTXI. You told me at the beginning that the patio wall would be $2500. Then when it came time for us to get the refund you tried to say it would only be $1800. we argued back and fourth with you about it. It wasn't until i looked back at my emails and found where you had stated what the price of the wall was originally that you finally agreed to it yet still haven't given it to us. Obviously I'm not the only one with these complaints so please tell me who is being untruthful? I fell in love with a particular blue glass waterline tile and Caleb drove to three different tile stores with me to find something similar together.
