Head teacher and owner of the school Preethy has inappropriate and unprofessional communication…read morewith parents. Treats the classroom like a black box and withholds information from parents to keep control. Cruel and cold hearted person many parents talk about her poor behavior and communication and simply put up with it because their child is being taken care of however I would urge you to ask to talk to other parents in the community before committing to the school. Your child might be taken care of well but thats doesn't mean you won't have problems with the administration who runs it. Many parents complain about her inappropriate communication and strong opinions on how to parents and raise their kids. Over the years many parents have left or she has dismissed the students without any notice or logical reason, many reasons not due to safety or behavior but because she wanted too. Very little checks and balances at the school. Many working families left to scramble and find childcare because she simply decided you don't belong there any more. Good luck working with someone with a low emotional intelligence and level of compassion.

We tried another "Montessori" daycare (not accredited) with our oldest child and were very disappointed. We've been so happy to have our youngest at Little Flowers. I would like to share my experience with EPM, which has been quite mixed. While the school has a…read moresolid reputation, I left disappointed.  Not only in the education my daughter received, but also the overall attitude of the staff and unprofessional communication.   Communication from the staff was often unclear and inconsistent. I found myself acting on their recommendations, only to have them recant those suggestions when it was convenient for them.  It felt like I was being gaslit.  At times, my daughter's provider recommendations were not followed.  They would state my daughter was the only child not napping as an example, but yet there was a room full of children not napping.  They stated my daughter didn't have friends not knowing that we played with kids from class on regular basis and still do to this day.    A particularly memorable incident that encapsulates my experience occurred on Halloween. My daughter was thrilled to wear her light-up princess dress, exuding pride and excitement as she arrived at school. However, the teacher checking in students remarked, "wow, that is distracting," in an annoyed voice, which was incredibly deflating for my daughter.  I think my daughter picked up on that she was not liked by the staff and that impacted her.  The overall lack of smiles or morale didn't seem good in my experience.   Changing a child's daycare/school setting can cause a lot of disruption.  That is the only reason why we stayed as long as we did and tried to make it work.   On a positive note, Soccer Shots, Wee-Move, and Piano teachers/coach were great.

We moved our kids to EP Montessori last summer from an early childhood center, and we and our kids…read morehave been so happy there! The teachers and staff are all very caring, and got to know our kids really well from the start. Our kids (2.5 year-old in Toddler and almost 5 year-old in Casa) had an easy time adjusting. We have a rule follower and an independent spirit, and the approach at EP Montessori has really helped both of them as they develop and learn. Both of our kids participate in activities that come to school (piano, dance, yoga, soccer) and enjoyed them, too!

We feel incredibly blessed to have found Kinderhaus Montessori through some internet research a few…read moremonths ago and perhaps I can shorten your path to a great school with an endorsement as a parent. If you are reading this review you may be wondering (just like we were) about the best place for your child to begin their education. What do you look for? Will your child feel comfortable and welcome ? What can you expect from a Montessori education? This school had everything we were looking for and more. They offer morning and afternoon sessions and they offer both 3-day and 5-day programs. The class sizes are small and social and you likely won't find more caring and passionate educators than Miss Nora and Miss Susan. Plus, the tuition is affordable and some assistance is available. We are almost done with our son's first year and we are planning to enroll him for a second year in the fall. Our daughter will be going there, too - no doubt in my mind. You should know that this is a small school with a close-knit connection between children, teachers and parents and they ask for parents to play an active role in the school if you can spare the time. This isn't the "drop your kid off in the parking lot" kind of place and we love how our son has blossomed in the quiet and challenging environment under the Montessori philosophy practiced at Kinderhaus Montessori. I urge you to take a tour and see for yourself.
