I had been to two previous tailors/seamstresses in Fort Lauderdale and was quoted $30 and $35. I thought the prices were outrageous and put getting them cuffed on the back burner. When I walked into the shop today, which is immaculate, stylish and what a tailor/seamstress shop should look like, I was warmly greeted by a man and a woman who were smiling. That makes a huge impression and difference when walking into any type of business! I showed them my pants, asked how much to hem/cuff them and was told $18! I put them on in their more within a more than adequate dressing room, stood up on the platform, the tailor marked them appropriately and said they'd be done in one week. I reminded him that would be on Thanksgiving. He laughed and said that Friday! The process was so easy that when you pay, they input your name and cell phone number into their computer, so when one pays, they're instantly sent a text receipt reflecting the customer's name, order number, job being done and cost of the job. It is a cashless business. Even though I have yet to pick up the pants, I'm confident that their work will be spot on!

I really wish I would have taken before and afters! So far, I've only used them for shoe repair and renewal. I WEAR my shoes. They dance, they walk, they hop, and even skip sometimes. They've been torn up in escalators (thin heels get stuck) I brought in 5 pairs of shoes. At least three were challenges that I was ready to write off. They came back basically brand new. I dropped off 3 more pair to get "tightened" and heels redone. And a couple items for alterations. The owner was very confident that cutting the end where the buckle was and redoing the stitching was the best way. I was amazed at how perfect the job came out!! She wrote up a slip saying what service I need and told me when I could pick up. I alerted her that I absolutely would not be able to pick up that day but would be in the following Monday (just two days after the slip). She wrote that on the slip that she gave me. When I return on the Monday to pick up my shoes the woman in the store was very confused and vented even though I presented her a ticket for my item that was written up by her just days earlier. She searched the front and back or the store with nothing. Then later called someone and told them I presented a confusing ticket? Thankful the person said they had my shoes? (Repairs are sometimes done outside the store?) He comes with a big box of shoes - none have any tags to identify the owners and/or what was supposed to get repaired. I was able to spot my sparkling size 10 bronze heels. I reviewed them throughly and the work appeared complete. I had additional shoes in the car but decided not to drop them off because of the service received in when picking up and the disorganization. I go out dancing with the shoes and don't last 15 minutes before the glue job is undone.
