She ruined my wedding dress. My whole experience here was just awful. She tried to over charge me for simple alterations and had really bad customer service. It took her over a month to do simple adjustments and she still did not do a good job. Had to go to another seamstress to fix her sloppy hand work. I honestly do not like leaving poor reviews, and I thought about this for awhile but I really need to do this because I honestly felt the way I was treated here was just not very nice. On the phone she was pleasant and said she could help me so I made an appointment to come in with my dress- I just needed a simple hem and possibly the top straps a bit tighter. When I got there she was very rude, she seemed in a hurry so I went ahead and put on the dress anyway and she just said, "Okay here $65 and here $35." I thought it seemed a little high for such a small job so I said "Okay, I just need a minute to think about that" - she said "Okay well my time is money so please hurry". Wow, I decided to leave feeling discouraged about my dress. I decided to try a store down the street just to get a second price and it was $55 for the entire thing! AND they were very nice and did an amazing job! I know this place has good reviews, and maybe she just had a bad day, or just didn't really have time for me, but just say that instead of overcharging and being rude.. Not very good customer service. :( read more

Hulya is AH - MAZING. Such a sweet human being and of course an amazing tailor. I'll update this review after my wedding with a photo but she took a $150 dress I bought from ebay, and made it look like a $1,500 dress. Unbelievable, she made it fit LIKE A GLOVE! As someone who knows the struggle of being a small business owner shame on all the people here bashing Hulya for not giving a quote over the phone. OF COURSE SHE CANT what if you show up with a size 27 potato sack and you want it to look like a kardashian dress? some people are ridiculous. I know Hulya has dealt with her fair share of bridezillas so she has to be careful about who she welcomes into her shop! I would recommend her and will continue to bring all my clothing to her. So nice to have someone reliable close to my new home. Thank you so much Hulya! Did I mention it only took her like 3 weeks? Extremely impressed. UPDATE: See before and after pictures below.
