It's a nice shop, very professional. They are expensive however they make every effort to do a great job. I had three fittings for an evening gown and two jumpsuits. Left a huge hole in my bridesmaid dress. When I called & complained, they said it's a bridesmaid dress so I understand that you typically only wear It once...regardless, I'm still a customer who paid a lot of money to have it altered. I think it's reasonable to expect the work I paid for to be done correctly, but maybe I'm wrong. Aside from the hole, I do think the work was really sloppy. The stitching had threads hanging off everyone & it just looked poor. There was also a pink thread mixed in on my green dress. Our family was looking for the closest tailor to our home and have handy for all of our business attire and regular tailoring. The place is clean and I was quickly invited to a change room for measurements. I showed my tailor where I'd like my clothes to have a better fitting and showed photos. I was honestly shocked by the pricing - 87$ to hem a pair of chinos and to make a button up shorter on the shoulders. I asked for a pricing menu to get a better understanding of what costs would look like in the future but was told it wasn't possible as there are hundreds of menu options...I expected to be asked to go back into the changing room upon picking up the clothes to ensure the right fit for the price but I was not. Hopefully others have a bit more personalized and thorough experience, especially for the price. read more

I dropped off a dress . Went to pick it up and it was not finished . Luckily for me there was time for them to correct their mistake. I prepaid $140 the alteration . When I tried on the dress I noticed it had a stain on it . I had brought it in the delivery bag it was shipped to me in . In other words brand new . Went to pick it up and the stain was not even treated. Would not trust them again with special occasions. Sad because the first time was so good, second time awful . I had been referred when looking for a professional, reliable place for alterations and kept it in the back of my mind. Then I ran into an emergency and needed something done quickly - as in less than 24 hrs quickly. A tall order by any standard let alone a reputable shop during a busy wedding season. The staff at NeedleStitch were amazing. From the moment I walked into the door they were attentive. I went in on a Tuesday and explained I needed my jumpsuit to be altered by the end of the week. I was told up front there would be a rush fee and I was fine with that. They asked me what I needed done, so they could get a feel of what was needed. Then they asked me to try the jumpsuit on so they could get the correct measurements and adjust what needed to be done. They wanted to make sure that the end result would look perfect on me. First off, they had it finished before I expected and sent me a text to let me know. When I went in to pick it up, they let me try it on and let me tell you, they did an excellent job! It fits like a glove now. I was swimming in the jumpsuit before, now it looks fantastic on me. I would most def recommend this business to anyone that needs clothing altered. read more

I called to make sure they were able to accommodate me, and Yanna was so friendly. Not only was the dress perfect, She was more than able to turn it around right away. I came in with a suit that was very large for me. The pants were about a 34/34 and I'm a 28/30. The pants now fit me like a slim fit 28/30 and you wouldn't be able to tell they were altered at all. The jacket of the suit was a little wide around the waist and the arms were a bit long. The waist hugs my silhouette pretty well. They were also able to shorten the sleeves without getting rid of the buttons near the wrist. They took out the extra length from the bicep area and pulled everything up basically. Overall very friendly and the suit is basically brand new and fits me perfect. Walked in there with pants big enough to fit two of me in there and walked out with perfectly fitting pants. read more

Two things: one I am sucker for details ppl who pay attention to details I like cause I notice the little things and If it sucks it ruins the whole thing. Second I have a very unusual figure:huge boobs, small waist and big hips. I'm sure you're saying lucky you and yea but it comes with challenges. One of those challenges is finding things that really fit me and I've often had to make it a choice: do I wear something tight and my boobs pop out but it shows my figure or do I wear something loose and look fat. Someone suggested a tailor and it's been a total game changer. I buy things off the rack and have it tailored to fit my figure. Expensive but worth it. So I've been in the tailor game a long LONG time. I had actually given up because ppl make all sorts of promises and they never get it right. I've even driven to boca to try to find a good seamstress no luck. I have a dress I want to turn into a skirt but I wasn't gonna risk that so I decided to try to get a zipper on my jacket fixed first if they could get that right then maybe I could trust them with my dress: these ppl were perfection! They told me what they could do, didn't boost up my expectations, had the jacket ready before they promised it but the thing that sold it...they matched the zipper to the color of the jacket! Without me even asking them to! Details! I'm gonna bring my dress and whatever else inspiration pops into my mind! I don't care what they charge me as long as they pay attention to My vision and go above and beyond I'm in! But they're also very reasonably priced. Thanks! read more

She is an excellent seamstress. She is very particular about her work and takes the time to make sure that it's done properly.
