Young's does a wonderful job. Their flowers are beautiful and the owners are wonderful to work with!

Over the past month, I have needed to order a couple of floral arrangements, and knew the right Florist, Young's Florist (Cher) to work with. One arrangement was for a co-worker who recently had major surgery, and the team wanted to send flowers to brighten her day; but also to let her know we were thinking of her. In selecting the arrangement (fall colors) - Cher did a fantastic job and she loved them. Matter of fact, she stated they were so beautiful she took a photo so that she could show family and friends. The 2nd arrangement was for a co-worker, who has become a dear friend, and is retiring. I wanted to let her know how wonderful and special she is; but more so, what she means to me. So a purple floral arrangement was it. The only down side was I was not on the MS Team meeting when a co-worker walked into her office with the flowers. In speaking with her, she was so touched, and stated they are the "most fantastic" flowers she has ever received. Thank you Cher for always making sure your floral arrangements capture what I envision. Plus, what other florist do you know sends a photo of the arrangement to ensure it is what you want. You are simply the best there is, and my florist for a lifetime. THANK YOU!!! read more

Was doing a job in the area and wanted to surprise my wife with some beautiful flowers . Was recommended by someone and it was a very good recommendation. The owner was very nice and helpful. I walked in and said I want to spend X and she said I got just the thing. The flowers were amazing and lasted a couple weeks afterwards. I highly recommend. Prices were pretty average among florists. read more

After cat sitting for my friends I came home to find a floral arrangement from this Florist shop. The cup is cute, the flowers and very nice, came with instructions too on watering which I appreciated. I have no idea of the cost, but they were packaged well, card was legible, and the display itself is beautiful and I am appreciating and enjoying it, thank you. read more

Well I really regret not looking on YELP before I sent a $78 orchard as a gift for my friends new home! I told the girl on the phone that the colour for a pot needed to match gray & seafoam colors & she assured me that she puts "a special touch" on everything...well the orchard which pot & all could have been bought at a Fred Meyer was delivered in a Kelly green pot I called the florist the next day & she offered to go pick up the Kelly green pot & take another one over....TACKY!!! She should've refunded my card & offered to take over a new orchard that matched what we discussed for over 10 minutes the day before....never again will I not use YELP. read more

A close family friend of mine died and the brother in law of the deceased ordered a bouquet from this shop. I work in the floral industry and this was one of the poorest excuses of an arrangement that I have ever seen in my entire life. I would never in a million years recommend using this business for a single thing. And the owner smokes cigarettes inside her shop. read more

What a beautiful shop with an amazing staff. Just had them put together something for a friend's salon and it's amazing. I must commend all those working at Young's for the pieces they made for my mother's funeral. I came in to have 4 pieces made and delivered the next day. I was able to sit and explain the type of person my mother was and they were able to create great pieces. I walked into youngs on Valentine's day knowing there was a chance they would be to busy to accept walk ins, the owner was more than willing to make me an arrangement. It took about ten minutes and the arrangement was awesome! As I waited I saw several decor pieces in the shop I liked and offered to purchase them, the following day I returned and the girls sold then to me, one of which was an old barn door they had propped up against the wall, which I now have in my house and looks amazing! Super friendly staff and I will be going back!...4 days later...flowers still look great too! read more

Called into this disaster to order an arrangement for my Grandmother's 95th birthday and to have it delivered as I live out of town. I specifically said that I wold like to spend $75 dollars with no vase so that there would be more flowers. Ultimately, my grandmother called my mother to have her help with the "arrangement" as it wasn't in a vase. When my mother saw the flowers she asked me how much I spent. When I told her $95 with tax and delivery she said that is awful and I asked why. She sent me a picture of a half dead arrangement with dead crispy leaves all over the table. This was a day later btw. I have never complained about a bouquet of flowers before but after I saw the picture I was disgusted. It looked like my grandmother's flowers were the half dead leftovers in the cooler that the owner was going to throw out. The owner was horrible to deal with and tried to negotiate a $35 refund and a new bouquet of flowers as "she was confused as to how that made it out of her shop". Right. I politely declined this as I had felt that she had tried to rip me off the first time. She explained that they have a "no-refund policy". I then explained to her that Master Card would see the pictures of my $100 arrangement and refund me anyway in a dispute so why waste her time. I could go on about our exchange via phone and email. The true test of ethics in business is what someone will provide you when they think no one is looking. Horrible, terrible. Go to Wegman's floral department or any other flower shop first. I only left 1 star because you are required to. read more

I ordered flowers through 1-800-FLOWERS. My friend received what I had sent and sent me a picture and it didn't look anything like the picture I had chosen on the website and was about half the size of what was shown. For the $80 I spent, I was very disappointed. I contacted 1-800-FLOWERS and they offered to take the bouquet back and send another one. I did include pictures of the flowers with what I ordered and what was received. I advised that it was embarrassing enough and I would just like a refund. They refunded $40 back. I thought, perfect. I was satisfied. What was sent was worth the $40. I just received a call from Young's Florist that she received my complaint and I should have ordered from her directly and that 1-800-FLOWERS deducted the refund from her account, NOT MY FAULT and really none of my business. And that the company fails to advise customers that if a specific flower is not in stock that they substitute. She then tells me that she contacted who I sent the flowers to directly! OMG! And that she was pleased with the arrangement. I was completed appalled and expressed my concern that she contacted the receiver instead of my directly! She said that she did not have my contact information. WELL she should have contacted the website that I ordered from. Completely unprofessional. I will never order directly from this company due to the owner and her 'customer service'. read more

When I received the bad news of my grandfather's death and was unable to attend. I called them directly not wanting to deal with FTD or anything. I spoke to someone and briefly explained my situation who then kindly asked if she could return my call because she was in the middle of taking another order. The call was returned less than 5 mins later and we discussed the last min order I was trying to make. She explained how they were closing in an hour (I'm on west coast time) and weren't open on the weekends (it was a Friday). I was a bit confused... I never heard of a florist closed on the weekends (-1 star) she passed me to the owner Sherry and asked about the arrangement I was interested in and she explained how she didn't have everything to create that arrangement (-1star) but promised she could come up with something wonderful and have it delivered on time so I desperately made the decision to give it a go. So why did I give them 4 stars and instead of 3? Because she went out of her way to create a last min arrangement and it was beautiful and huge by the way, my family complimented and took pictures for me, it got there on time. Their customer service was great... She even recommend a nice note for the card. It was basically a blind, last minute thing I took a chance on and you know what... I was very pleased with the outcome. read more
