I'm gonna say this kids... I'm a stickler for a good florist and to order "blind" and hope for the best I've been blessed with this spot. I will also say this I'VE NEVER VISITED it's been all online ordering due to the pandemic but Fioravanti always knocks it's outta the park. This is a 95+ year old local family owned gem here in Rochester.. It may not have all the bells and whistles like some other places but it can put together some seriously beautiful flower arrangements and not just some cookie cutter stuff.. thanks but no. Totally wowed by Fiorvanti - a family owned business that has been providing floral to the Rochester community for ONE HUNDRED years as of 2020! That is just incredible to me and I feel so lucky to live down the street from this gem. I popped in today on whim after feeling like my kitchen needed a little colorful love. I hadn't placed an order or anything of that nature...I just walked in and asked if they could help me liven up my kitchen with a $20 budget! Within 5 minutes they quickly whipped up a beautiful arrangement (with vase!) to take home, with instructions on how to care. While I was only in the store for MAYBE 7 minutes - I quickly fell in love with the employees and the "welcome to the family" vibe. I would love to get to a point where I have a standing monthly order with them, as beautiful flowers have a way of turning anyone's day around in an instant. I feel so lucky to have this gem in ROC (as also super lucky to have the FREE SMELLS from Savoia as you exit and enter Fiorvanti) and look forward to upping my flower-mom game and patronizing them again and again in the future. read more

I ordered flowers via a 800 flower service. Fioravanti fulfilled the order. The flower arrangement looked nothing like the photo on the website. The hydrangeas were wilted and dying when delivered. My mother called to advise the florist who kindly offered to replace with another arrangement but if this florist sends out such shoddy arrangements why would any customer want or trust a replacement arrangement? I believe there is no pride in their workmanship or reputation to deliver wilted dead flowers! I live out of state and called Fioravanti and they blamed the 800 service. However my point is it is your business fulfilling the order and I spent a fair amount of money on this arrangement -- total rip off! Really this business deserves 0 stars! read more

She went on and on about how easy they were to work with in helping her choose what arrangement would be best, what card to include, and taking care of her every request. The delivery person was courteous, and completely protocoled during the COVID-19 pandemic -- masked, distanced -- contact-free in dropping off the flowers. And the FLOWERS ... the FLOWERS!!!!! Fioravanti was the florist for my sister's wedding. My Dad and I were responsible for picking up our boutonnieres, Mom's flower and the absolutely breathtaking bouquet which are the white roses and orchid arrangement in the business photos. First time to this florist. I needed two corsages for my twin daughters, each wearing different dresses. The staff staff was welcoming and assisted me with colors and flowers and their durability. Before this week I'd never actually been inside of Fiorvanti's. But I've seen their arrangements at many weddings and funerals. The other day I stopped in to pick up some fresh cut flowers for my mom. The service was speedy and genuine. The lady behind the register informed me that the bouquets of fresh flowers come in $5 increments. Another person arranged them right in the back. I was very happy with this service. It was satisfying to know that they do provide small bouquets right up to the more extravagant arrangements you see at weddings and funerals. Not only were the owners incredibly kind and considerate when we had to postpone the date due to her sudden and extremely serious illness, but the flowers were GORGEOUS!! They created centerpiece wreaths made of baby's breath and pink roses that received SO many compliments. The bouquets, the floral arrangements at the church, and their professionalism throughout was up to the high standard that they have shown for decades and decades.
