YBA changed ownership in 2025, although they were reorganizing their operation, their basic services were fine until I requested they forward my mail and several drug packages to me in Florida. When I received the box I was missing several envelopes of mail and medication packages. I contacted them and gave them detailed information on what I requested, did not receive and what was totally missing from their records. After back and forth calls and emails, I found out that they had sent our medication packages to someone else. Fortunately that person returned them, however not all the mail was retrieved of which was sensitive in nature. I was out of the medication and had to purchase it privately. I requested reimbursement after submitting proof of loss, and they stopped communicating to me. Today I received one line email stating the check was mailed! To Where and How Much? They mailed the check to an address I'm not at! No communication, no customer service, they shut their phones off at 5:00pm, no voice mail, no responses to emails, no weekend services either. When you try to reach management, "not in the office today". DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!! read more

Your Best Address has been under new ownership starting around sometime in November 2024 or at the end of the year sometime, and I ain't impressed with the new owner and her crew. So many of the employees are gone I don't know if the new owner knows how to run the place or not, and I ain't that impressed with the previous owner. When you're a full-time traveler you need your mail and all that stuff. South Dakota ain't as friendly as they pretend. They don't want you to get a gun license without 30 days house or apartment address and they don't want to let you vote without 30 days house or apartment address. The street address you get from Your Best Address ain't gonna cut it with the Secretary of State and the Sheriff. I don't even know if South Dakota claims that you gonna be a resident by staying one night or just you get a license of they claims anything. Your Best Address says on their new website "Establish residency with minimal documentation and time commitment." Not residency for a gun license or voting. Now you don't care about that head over to Your Best Address, but don't be thinking that this address you get is all that. The website says "Nearly 20 years of experience helping clients establish South Dakota residency" but I don't see Erin the vehicle coordinator listed and she was the one under the old owner. They didn't have no courtesy to tell that it was bought and sold. I just started finding the employees were all different when I called, and I go out on to the website and find it sold. You make your own decision. They was sorta good enough when I needed them, but I just gonna get a local driving license and use a po box when my license expires. That is all this is to me. read more

Full time travelers will find better and more affordable service elsewhere. It started out great, with friendly and communicative staff. Then, they got rid of many associates and the communication took a turn, with fees going up. When questioning the new rates and why I was receiving inaccurate information, without any discussion or real explanation, the owner created a false narrative and forced me to find a new service provider. If you want to save yourself the gas and driving thousands of miles back to SD, paying for the required stay in a hotel, changing license info at the DMV, and notifying your institutions about your change of address all over again, please choose a simple postal annex, which is reliable, kind, personable, and affordable. read more

I am still waiting for the closing of my account mail after 13 days from January 6th, 2022 and YBA claims it could be that the mail is slow. I checked again with the post office and they said that the mail is not slow. I have asked YBA what they have sent besides a check on my balance of postage. I just wasted about 2 hours of my time trying to sign up with them. I gathered all the information, uploaded my files and filled out all the forms. Before I hit the send button I had a question about the forms so I called. I was informed that despite the website saying they have a digital mail service they do not have any digital mailboxes available "at this time". as travelers my girl and i have used Your Best Address since around 2018 or 19 and they have made it incredibly convenient for receiving mail on time regardless of where on the planet we happen to be located at that specific time. even though we have never asked ( and have a plan that forwards our mail twice per month) we always get a call or text when something important (w2's, checks...etc) arrives that they deem worthy of expedited delivery. this is simply their employees in the mailroom going above and beyond what we required of them and paid for. whoever is in charge of hiring and retaining this talent deserves much appraise and of course much appraise and thank you's for those employees who make it personal and go that extra mile each and every time. we also have used them for registering a few different vehicle and travel trailers in South Dakota and not only do they take all the work and hassle out of your hands but they also do it for much less cost than anywhere else! we know! we checked everybody from Texas to Florida and you will not find more knowledgeable individuals to explain the process and then do it all for you. so my girl and i have been traveling and working seasonal jobs since 2018 but earlier this year February 2023 we decided and have the opportunity to not have to travel for work anymore and decided to remain full time in Utah where as in the past we would spend a calendar year working and playing in mostly Utah, North Dakota, Idaho, Montana and Wyoming. we have worked in National Parks and in the Agriculture and Winter Sports industries during this time. so, just weeks away from needing to either re up our membership with Your Best Address or let it pass as neither of us could think of a solid reason why we would need or require their services any longer we have decided to re up. why? please allow me to explain :) last week we ordered some very expensive auto parts for 2 heavy duty pickup trucks that we rely on for work and also to pull our home to various locations. today i learned there was a miscommunication with the supplier of those parts we ordered and instead of being shipped to our current address they were shipped to Your Best Address which was also listed as the billing address for parts ordered. these are both suspension and steering parts that were needed immediately in order to even safely and worry free drive our vehicles, much less pull a 34ft travel trailer. after ordering i was content to just sit back await the arrival of said parts before going to work installing them but today i received a call from the supplier of those parts stating that they had been delivered and asking if everything ordered was included and to my standards. i replied that i had never received them and after a few questions learned that they were shipped to the same building in Sioux Falls, SD which YBA keeps their office but actually to a different suite. after googling and calling numerous companies (3) purported to own that suite and getting no pertinent info i finally called YBA and asked if they had received anything for us. Desiree took my call and after asking for a description of items expected she assured me would check and get back to me. she did. about an hour later she called to inform me that no, they had not received our package. so i then relayed to her the info i had about it possibly being delivered to a different suite than the one they kept and again she informed me that she knew where that was and would check there and update me regarding her findings. within a half hour she called me back to inform me that indeed the package was delivered to the wrong suite but that she was able to locate and take possession of it. she also said she had brought it back to their mailroom and notated that circumstances and that i requested it not be forwarded to me but that the shipper would pick it back up and mail it within the next few days saving us a lot of money on postage. i already knew but asked her about how heavy it was ( i did notice she sounded as though she might have just completed a workout when she called me). this thing was not light. we're talking about tie rod ends and ball joints for a f350 and chevy 2500. this is the reason we are continuing our membership with YBA even though we could practically handle everything ourselves now. its customer service. its family. its knowing that these people arent merely employees doing their jobs (which in itself is becoming increasingly rarer these days) but that they actually CARE! and if they do not care they certainly are very very skilled in faking it. we will continue utilizing what services we can from YBA because we know they can be trusted. and they CARE! Desiree, i am so very thankful for you going out of your way and resolving an issue that was neither created by you or which you had anything to do with. your going the extra mile for us meant far more than having our parts a few days earlier....So much more. I worked here for a year. I was discriminated against, treated unfairly, and paid poorly. The owner is a pushover who is fully controlled by the disdainful manager. There is no communication and people are very two sided. Tons of workplace drama and no respect or appreciation for their employees. They cut my hours, but on days when I asked to get off early after finishing what was required of me, it was always a no. Many people sat on their phones and watched videos but the second I answered a phone call on mine, I was scolded and hours were cut. Once I moved to a new position with more responsibilities, I asked for a $1.00 raise (I only made $12.50 after 1 year of working there which is the starting pay) and was denied. However, new hires with the same tasks were given one shortly after being hired. Prior employees were treated the same and left due to this and more. Overall, I'm very disappointed with this work place. I advise all customers to look else where into a business that respects and takes care of its employees and customers. read more
