I've been taking my dogs here for a while and always referred friends and family, but unfortunately I won't anymore. The new phone system makes it almost impossible to get ahold of a live person it feels like constant phone tag. I understand trying to make things more efficient, but customer service has really gone downhill. The receptionist always seems annoyed and rude, like helping customers is an inconvenience. This was my first time here and I had such a great experience from start to finish. From the moment I walked in to when I picked up my dog, the front desk woman with the short hair was incredibly kind and helpful. My dog just needed a bath and nail trim, and Linda was his groomer. She did an absolutely phenomenal job with River. He can be a little wiggly at times, but she handled him with so much patience and genuine care. When I picked him up, he looked AMAZING. It's clear Linda takes real pride in her work and truly loves the dogs she grooms. River came home happy, calm, and looking like a total superstar. Awful! This was my experience with groomer Sarita (Sara). I have a maltipoo puppy. I specifically told her not to trim nor cut her leg hair nor head. When I picked up my puppy, she completely cut her entire body and head completely changing the curly look of my dog. I was so upset! To make matters worse, the trim on her head was uneven. I'd like to start this comment by stating I've been going to this establishment for a few years now to either wash my dogs myself or have them groomed. My boyfriend took both of my dogs (a Siberian husky and a long haired German shepherd) on Saturday morning and when he brought them back they were completely shaved. At first, it was kind of funny. They definitely look hilarious but it's also concerning because these are not breeds that should be shaved. I'm not sure if this was a new groomer or maybe they don't know much about breed types. It's also winter so I had to go out and buy them sweaters. I will not be going back and I would be very careful of what you say when you take them. As in, be very descriptive on what you do or do not want done to your dogs. read more

All of my fur babies love walking over everyday to say HI Super friendly and always ready to give the fur babies some love. My two elderly dogs get nails trimmed and anal glands secreted. 10/10 loved it! Went in for the self serve wash to wash my girls. Was $18 per pet which Included diluted bottles of shampoo, conditioner and ear cleaning solution. They also have add ons such as cologne and paw rub which are $1. Also offer aprons for you so you don't get wet and a powerful blow dryer and towels to dry your dog. Wash stations are a good size fit two medium sized dogs which was perfect for me to wash both my girls at the same time. The actual store in general had many things from crates, dog beds, food bowls, treats, bathing supplies and toys. Employees are very helpful and polite. read more

The self service was SO convenient. Saved my back from the pain of bending over for half an hour, saved my bathroom and tub from becoming a sandy, gritty, dirty mess i would also have to wash, and saved me the headache of worrying about someone else washing my nervous pup. Included in the price is access to one of their partially sectioned off tubs (you can see the store but can't see the other tubs where more pups are getting washed), plus really great quality shampoo, tear-free face shampoo, conditioner, ear cleaning solution, cotton balls, towels, and a dryer. There's a ramp your pup can use to get in the tub, and there are leashes to keep your pup safe and contained. Worth every penny ($18), will be coming back again and again! read more

I brought my 55 lbs English bulldog in for the self service wash. It was my first time so they walked me through how to use their facilities and products provided. I upgraded to an oatmeal shampoo and they already provided a soap for the face, conditioner, scrubber, cotton balls for an ear wash, face towel, regular towel, dog brush, even a disposable apron for myself. My booth had a ramp for him to walk up. I loved that I was able to take my time washing and drying without feeling any time constraints as some other facilities do. In general it's a difficult task to bathe my bully, but Your Elegant Pet helped to make most of it easier. I highly recommend! read more

1st time bringing my labradoodle here and got THE worst "bathe and shave" ever. I really dislike it when groomers are lazy, and think because your dog has a few knots or matts, the only viable solution is to shave and start over. If you don't feel like "working" with dogs with all fur types, perhaps select another job! We are not in denial, we get it, he did have a few but when we have time we use products and work out most of the knots and hand cut out others ourselves. Yes, it does take a bit of time but isn't that what I'm paying the groomer for? Not once did she offer to charge more to work on him, nope! She just wanted to shave and go. We spoke to the groomer before allowing them to take him and we expressed to her firmly that we did not agree that our dog needed to be shaved down but she insisted. I really hate to sound cynical, but guess what? He's s DOG, dogs run around, roll around, wrestle etc. Any long-haired dog, especially curly haired 1 1/2 year old is going to get tangled! He was not knotted up like some dread-locked Rastafarian (no offense to them!). And guess what, if he was in the wild he'd have kinks too! Mother nature's groomer is called growth and fur-shed! When we picked him up she had shaved him including his FACE completely off! He had been shaved down before at PetCo, and even they left the fur on his face and top of his head. She knew nothing about grooming a doodle. We took him to board at his breeder a few hours after leaving this place and the breeder was infuriated. "You NEVER shave a doodles hair off the top and you certainly NEVER shave its entire face" was what she said! The owner did opt to give us $10 off the next 2 visits and noted in our file not to use that particular groomer. I don't think we will be back though. The shop however, is adorable. Great quality food and treats and very clean. I would be ok with just a bath here but wouldn't allow a groomer especially the young lady that did our doodle near him ever again. "Doodle" owners, you have been warned. read more

I took my dog there on accident due to my navigation malfunctioning AnyWho I was helped by someone at the desk and I thought I had an appointment only to realize that I was at the wrong place but the person that was taking care of me at the front was able to take in my dog as a walk-in. I was skeptical because I never been here and they were a little far.. but overall, I was very happy with the outcome, and I will most likely return to this place. I was looking for a local place to get some baked goodies for my pup's birthday party, I did not want to drive down all the way to 2nd street to go to The Dog Bakery, but man I wish I did. I understand that this place mainly focuses on grooming but if you are going to have baked treats such as cupcakes & cookies etc, I expected them to be decent. I chose a happy birthday dog bone cookie, two small cupcakes, and 1 small bone cookie. I didn't ask the price, when they wrung me up it came out to $19! I thought, ok that's fine they must be great, but once I got home, I decided to open up the baggy and feel the goods, they were HARD as STONE. I couldn't even break off a piece with my two hands. All four treats were the same way. I'm extremely disappointed, I am not sure how long these have been sitting there for. I read on a diff. review that the baked treats are good...but this was not the case. I didn't go back because I had my pup's party to arrange and did not have time to go back and tell them about their bad treats, so in the end I learned my lesson. Make the drive to a place you know is worth it, because you will get a quality product for just about the same price too. So bad. read more

I called in for a last minute appointment and they were the only ones that could take me in. Plus I was excited to try this place out with all the great reviews. I took in my yorkie for a bath and sanitary trim. As soon as I walked in, it was very overwhelming for him...busy and loud. I had a 5 pm appointment, but when I arrived, I was told there was still one dog ahead of mine. I felt like they should have just told me 6 pm so my dog wouldn't have to be waiting in a crate. I told the groomer that I wanted his bangs trimmed, but it came out uneven and choppy. (I'm sure I could have done the same at home, just grab a piece of his bangs and cut it straight) He also came back with red testicles and a small cut on top of his eye. I also don't like that the grooming area is so closed off and you can't see. When they opened the door, it was very loud with dogs barking and blow dryers going off in a small room.
