Our private patio overlooked all the greenery, nature and a beautiful gazebo where we had our morning breakfast and coffee. My biggest complaint is the bed in the honeymoon suit. As you see in the pictures, the mattress did not fit in the bed frame and I thought that was a very tacky and unsafe. It was about a 6 inch gap all around and I was afraid that I would forget and step wrong and hurt myself. Also, the chair in the master bedroom Had a screw poking out that was uncomfortable so we did not use that chair. Lastly the only meat options on the breakfast menu was a chicken sausage, and it was very sweet like maple and I personally did not enjoy it. Now that I have told you my dislikes, here are my likes. The scenery was beautiful! We did the honeymoon suite and each door in it (the bathroom, bedroom, and living room each had a door that opened up to the patio/outside.) listening to the creek was nice! They have a gazebo as well and seating on the porch with blankets. They have a microwave and mini fridge and they provided grapes when we arrived. Day 2 they provided cute little chocolate mousse desserts. For a refresh/turndown, you text the concierge. The tub was big and deep definitely fit 2 people. It's my understanding that the honeymoon suit is the only one with the separate living room/bathroom/bedroom set up. I liked the space and separate rooms, which is why we picked this particular room (Also, just an FYI, looking at the pictures online, it looks like the furniture in the honeymoon suite is outdated/Victorian style compared to the other rooms that they have, but expected this going in because I looked at the photos ahead of time). I would consider coming back here, but for the price, the mattress needs to fit the bed frame

The building is as creative as you can possibly imagine, having been built into a hilly terrain with multiple levels and types of geography. It will embrace you with a warm hug as it has all my congregant colleagues who attended the tenth Relationship Intelligence and Wisdom of the Heart retreat with Gregg Braden along with Dr. Deborah Rozman, Dr. Melaney Sreenan, Jorge Luis Delgado and Kelley Alexander. There are quite a few smaller seminars held here, many that are advertised by flyer just inside. There is also a chapel here where a couple got married while I was there- then they went to the park area for photos- quite lovely. No food or drinks other than water are allowed inside which most attendees were annoyed by, but not as much as by the "water nazi" that stood next to the door curtly asking what was in everyone's mugs as they came in. That was a bit unnecessary.

Both were spot-on with every detail and suggestions, which made choosing The Cabin an easy decision. Once we selected the venue, the team was responsive and a pleasure to work with from start to finish. We especially loved having the flexibility to bring in our own decor to match the bride and groom's vision perfectly. The venue itself was exactly the vibe we were looking for -- intimate, rustic and first class. In the heart of Uptown, but not on the main road! The food and drinks were outstanding across the board, from hors d'oeuvres to the buffet, beverages, and desserts -- truly all five-star quality! The staff went above and beyond and were always eager to please. The outdoor and covered patio's were perfect for our dancing celebration. The heaters were a great touch and definitely came in handy with the breeze we experienced. Overall, if we had to do it all over again, we would choose The Cabin without hesitation. Heart of Sedona Weddings - bell rock sedona ceremony

    Heart of Sedona Weddings

    (10 reviews)

I want to start off by saying that I had a fantastic wedding and I will always remember my wedding…read moreday fondly. I think these memories are largely due to a few different factors, some of which I can attribute to Revered Andrew and his team at Heart of Sedona Weddings, but the most memorable part of the day was saying my vows to my beautiful wife! She is what made the day so special and memorable. I have mixed feelings about Heart of Sedona Weddings which I will explain below, but based on my experience with Reverend Andrew and his team, I would still cautiously recommend their services to anyone desiring to elope in beautiful Sedona. You may want to look into other options as well. Reverend Andrew is very involved in the planning process, from the initial consultation all the way to the big event. During my initial phone consultation with him he was very friendly and informative about how the wedding ceremony would work. His pricing is upfront and reasonable for what you get, as he offers several all-inclusive packages designed to meet your needs. I liked that Reverend Andrew took his time with us over the phone and explained everything in detail. He was clear about how the planning process worked and told us exactly what we needed to know in order to have a successful elopement in Sedona. He was personable and gave us excellent recommendations for bridal hair and makeup, restaurants, and cakes. He made the planning process less stressful than it should have been. Although I have yet to see the wedding photos, his photographer Andrew Holman was excellent in the way he treated us and he made us feel like celebrities with all the really cool poses around the scenic red rock background. I am quite confident from the quality of the photos he took on my phone that the actual wedding photos will be spectacular. In this respect, Revered Andrew made a great decision to have Andrew as our photographer. Couldn't be happier with him. Another nice gesture of Reverend Andrew was him personally picking up my then fiance at her makeup salon so I would not see her prior to the wedding. His flexibility and willingness to do this were very much appreciated and made the wedding that much more special to me and my bride. Despite all of the amazing memories, there are some areas in which I felt Reverend Andrew fell short, which I will detail here. Reverend Andrew was easy to get ahold of the first two times I spoke to him, but after that, it was nearly impossible to reach him over the phone and he would sometimes take several days to get back to me, even when I had a simple question. When I replied to one of his emails regarding details of our ceremony, he never received it, only to find it later while I was telling him over the phone that I sent it. I got the feeling that he was overbooked and more focused on quantity than quality, a feeling that would later be confirmed during the ceremony itself. On the day of the wedding, on our way into the private golf course, Reverend Andrew ran into an issue at the security gate where they were asking him to pay a fee to enter. Waiting in my car for fifteen minutes while he sorted out the details and argued with the security guard over paying the fee was not a good way to set the mood. While the security guard was being rude, I did not feel that Andrew making a big deal out of the fees was very professional and he should have dealt with the guard later on instead of venting about him on our wedding day. Another issue was that during the ceremony itself, Andrew was reading off sheets of laminated paper and did not seem emotionally invested in our ceremony. It was more of a vibe he gave off, but he was reading very quickly and seemed like he was in a rush to get this thing over with and get out of there. Not exactly the vibe I was going for on my wedding day. I am still a little pissed about that. And then, once our ceremony was over, he hurriedly and awkwardly left, not giving my new wife time to get all of her belongings out of the car. That just rubbed me the wrong way, but thanks to the kindness and patience of his photographer, we continued to have a great time taking photos. The wedding cake had almonds in it despite me asking for there not to be. Oversights like these on my wedding day were unacceptable. I think Reverend Andrew is good at what he does, but I did not feel that his heart was quite there with us on our big day and I felt he was a little careless with small, but important details. If I were to renew my vows in Sedona, I would have second thoughts about going with him again for these reasons.

We found similar wedding services to Heart of Sedona Weddings, but from our initial phone inquiry, Andrew was enthusiastic and open to answering many questions about his services and going through a list of easily accessible locations for our family to get to. We ended up deciding on getting married on Bell Rock, off of the Courthouse Vista parking lot (beautiful views). We were in continuous communication with Andrew in the months leading up to our Wedding. We met with Andrew in Sedona a few months prior to the wedding to go over all the details of the ceremony and for him to get to know us more as a couple. We then went with Andrew to our wedding location. Andrew showed us the best spot for the ceremony. He also showed us where and how he would position us and our family. Andrew sent us packets of wedding ceremony information. We went through and picked the stuff we liked and also added some verses that we liked. Andrew made this part very easy. After we told him the pieces that we liked and the verses that we wanted, he took it from there and made a beautiful and fluent ceremony. We would highly recommend Andrew and Heart of Sedona Weddings! Thank you, Andrew!
