On December 24th, 2022 during the arctic freeze in Dallas - we had a pipe freeze and burst, flooding 75% of my entire brand new 3,000 sq ft home in Plano. Before I had heard of "Your Home Experts". I hired a separate company immediately after the incident to handle the water mitigation. After the mitigation portion finished, I decided to keep the same "Mitigation" company to handle the re-construction. Big mistake. Mitigation companies need to stick to mitigation. After just a couple of weeks and just through the estimate, it was clear that this mitigation company wasnt the right fit for the next stage. I decided to let that company go and after a ton of research, I decided to go with Your Home Expert with the reconstruction portion of the house. Best decision I have ever made. We had a Water Leak in the kitchen when we were out of the country and when returned we saw that the leak has damaged our Flooring(all over the house), walls, and Kitchen Cabinets. Mold started forming and it was chaos. Reached out to Multiple GCs (Around 5) and none gave me the confidence that they will rebuild the house back to the original or better. We got the reference from a friend about YOUR HOME EXPERT(YHE), reached out to Alex, and explained our situation then next day Mike came to our house, then started our Journey for the next 8 1/2 months. Mike explained the process and he was very clear about all the steps and didn't try to oversell things as other GCs did. The same day he created a WhatsApp Group and we used to communicate through that. Mike then helped to start packing and moving our stuff to the storage, mitigation, dealing with insurance and finally building it back to not only its original state but even better. We started out looking for a professional group when a mysterious leak caused the floor in our master bedroom to warp and buckle up.
