This Walmart has a sense of organization- and one can get regional products like New England Coffee&Boston's Best coffee, as well as Patriots slow cookers. Since it gets cold here, they have survival food, and various ways of dealing with snow&ice. This is the place to go if you plan on hibernating for the winter. To their credit, they are clean&everything is clearly marked. On the other hand, they have a grim, ghost town of a Subway (is that why they have so many Walking Dead tie-ins?) and a nail salon. It's where you get necessities, not necessarily souvenirs.

Cape Cod definitely being one of those. The salt and peppered cashier gentleman was a definite plus at this location, he understood my silly bag collecting at all the Trader Joe's I visit, and he and another gentleman went out of their way to find out if there were other Cape Cod themed TJ bags (other than the lobster one that I was purchasing). This market reminds me of the supermarkets one would find in NYC. The check out is literally right next to the entrance/exit. They have a small amount of fresh/prepackaged foods which may or may not have been sitting there for hours/days. The confusing bit is that there is another section of the store for toiletries or non-grocery items. It isn't so obvious for a newbie like me. You can find soaps, scrubs, baskets, lotions etc. You have to walk through the back area of the shop though. This market serves the need of the people but I am so surprised that it is so tiny since it is serving one of the largest communities on the Island. There aren't many other choices so you just have to suck it up. Don't come expecting too much however.
