She has been on a well deserved extended vacation. I needed my gel manicure so went to another lady just on Monday. By Thursday 2 nails had broken so far down they bled. Three other nails were peeling and going to break as well. Went in today to have fixed and Violet told me they don't guarantee their gel or acrylic nails. I respectfully told her that this never happened with my regular lady. She just shrugged her shoulders and told me she didn't know what to say to me. Needless to say I told her I wouldn't be returning to the salon. It makes me sad to be so disrespected as a loyal and generous patron to be treated this way. I had initially scheduled a massage and facial appointment for 5/30 and all seemed good. Not even 24 hours later, I get a text that my appointment was in a day, when I was flying out of town. No biggie -- she removed that mistaken appointment as soon right after I texted her. But then she cancelled my 5/30 appointment a few minutes later. Luckily, I purchased through Groupon and was able to get a refund -- this is important since I do NOT recommend ever giving this business your credit card number. When 5/30 rolled around, I received a text that I had an appointment in four hours. She re-added my appointment to her booking platform that same day, so I used that link to cancel. I received a text saying I'd be charged $25. She only backed down when I sent screenshots of the cancellations they initiated (and probably since they didn't have my payment info on file). No apologies ever in this process. I also don't think texts from their main number are automated like they make them seem due to grammatical errors ("press C for confirming"), so I must block them to avoid getting these wild promotional texts.

Her and Alisha made me comfortable just by having a casual conversation as she was doing the procedure. It really helped to take my mind off everything.
