We contacted, "Jim" the owner / driver about driving us around to a few Temecula based wineries but our experience wasn't so Cozzi. We made plans with this driver and two days later a few friends who originally couldn't join us, were able to swing tickets to our wine-makers dinner making our group larger and now we needed a limo or larger vehicle for our group. Promptly we contacted Jim / private driver by phone leaving a voicemail and text message expressing that we had a change of plans; would contact him in the future and apologized for any inconvenience. [See the photo]. NOTE: we cancelled six days in advance. What happened next was beyond unprofessional. This is one angry dude: women beware. He sent multiple text messages, one stating that [not verbatim] "Since you can't afford a Temecula wine tasting tour".... [LOL, I just got back from New York and Canada]. Mr. Cozzi went on angry; " maybe you should go drink wine ...blah, blah, blah" [some nonsense]. Another Text: " Lose my number ", "you are a pain in the aXX" "you're a total waste of time, I don't value your business", "don't bother contacting me again". Very angry indeed. But worst than that text my friend's message some thing politically charged about being, "a snowflake" [Isn't that a term invented by some extremists? or politically charged] Very unprofessional, very angry and volatile. Be careful of any business that only accepts cash. Our plans were tentative, and our communication to cancel was not based on any certain contract solidified by a deposit, because you can't send a CASH deposit via e-pmt. Overall, this is an example of a very unprofessionally run, micro business. Poor etiquette. A real estate friend of mine and his partner are celebrating and planning to do a wine tour of Temecula after a small gathering at their new estate in De Luz and I had recommended this private driver. Unfortunately, after receiving these damning texts, my friends cancelled hiring Jim. The silver lining is that we had an awesome time in Temecula and enjoyed the beautiful views and an awesome dinner at "Leoness Cellars". Their brut champagne [sparkling wine] is excellent! Keep a few things in mind: [1] In the span of five + hours, just as in other visits to Temecula, there were no [none] CHP in the back country. Jim tried to hard sell me that the cops are everywhere up there. Why be tethered to a driver when you can easily drive yourself ?Enjoy a few leisurely paced days touring the unique wineries here. Jim's response below is a manufactured, complete lie. Final Note: in Jim's response, he originally stated that I must be competition, but then edited it lying that he "rejected this guy". The truth is in the displayed, rude and unhinged text message I have posted, which shows that in fact, we did have to cancel. This was due to having more people join. We simply told him that we had a change of plans, he never knew why until this review was posted. read more

Not only did he take us to all of our locations, but he also arranged dinner reservations at the Great Oak Restaurant, golf reservations at the Journey Golf Course, and a sunset horseback riding tour through the wine country. Jim was awesome! We were up in the Fallbrook area for a wedding and booked Jim as our driver for the evening. He was responsive and showed up on time for each part of the round trip transportation. He was so friendly and knowledgeable about the surrounding areas. His car was safe and clean and he was a great driver. Jim was top notch! Very communicative and met us at the hotel on time. He had great suggestions for wineries. I know the area well, but alot has changed since the pandemic and he was current on the best places. It was my birthday and while we were eating lunch he went and bought little cakes and surprised us with them! Over the top! I found JIm "Your Private Driver" on Yelp and booked him for transportation for our wedding on June 4th. He was very communicative and confirmed our rides the day before. He arrived on time and was very friendly and courteous. He has a lovely black Mercedes Benz E-300 which was perfect for the occasion. HIs rates are extremely reasonable. I also want to thank him for waiting with us after our wedding at 11:00 p.m.. I had to book another transportation bus for our children and their friends. That bus was over 45 minutes late, but Jim was so kind to wait with us so we could make sure our kids made it home safe too. We highly recommend Jim and will use him again. read more

I'll be more specific. He was hired on 11/5 for a wedding on 12/17. There were several communications between and affirmations of planning on doing the job. On 12/16, at 10:36pm on a Friday night he cancelled leaving us completely in the lurch. That was after he was at our house before 12 noon on the 16th. Why not cancel then when we had a slight chance of recovery???? No he waited until late at night. Not a way to run a business or serve the public!!!! NOTE: Yelp has not deemed my review unreliable. What's amazing is Yelp allows all the name calling and pervasive lying coming from the vendor. Our private road is not dangerous, washed out or without GPS. The things stated about the house are only laughable since it's so ridiculous. My review is accurate and warranted. Please use another driver! read more
