Ronnie was our driver and customer steward all day. He arrived on time at 10a.m. in Palm Springs where we are staying for a Bachelorette. (He had driven from LA). 1. The coach was clean and comfortable and well stocked with water and champagne. 2. He was approachable, magnetic, and looked after us. 3. He took good photos - which was sobering to see how I went from a size 2 to a size 10 in 5 years. It was a wake up call to make sure my body matches my smile and youthful face at 41. 4. He was so nice and friendly that it made it easier that for the bi-coastal bride I only had the bride and one other friend in common. Most of the people on the west coast are saving their money to make it to the east coast wedding. I'll update the review with winery names. 5. Some overall comments and winery number 3. At two wineries we were given cards for a specific number of tastings - winery #2 and winery number #3. At winery #3 people with these cards were ignored and it often took up to 10 mins to get a pour. The size of the pour for women clearly correlated to their looks and weight. (I guess they want to help us fatties stick to our diet plans). It was such a long wait and the pours were so small for me at winery 3 that I only did 3 of the six tasting. The view was amazing. Circulation at the two pouring bar was terrible because the "paying customers" took up residence at the bar. So this is clearly set up where members are actually in a different tasting room. I'm a member at St. Supery in the St. Helena Valley and that's how they do it. The food looked good. 6. We visited 3 wineries. 6a. The first was the best and by far the most inviting - it's what I expect from a Vineyard. I think it's called Somerset, named after the street the owner grew up on. They don't yet have clearance to ship to WA so I asked what was up (I do regulatory work) and learned we were all in states where it would help if we signed a petition and all 10 of us did. I'm kicking myself for not buying a bottle or two to drink while here. The resiling, drunk bunnies, and their red blend that is not "Mr. T" but is considered comparable were fantastic. I found the Mr T. to be musky and sharp - which I'm not into. 6b. The 2nd winery was an ikea of high production low cost wines, not very good wines. On the upside it was friendly and inviting with a beautiful view. It had live cover band music which was fine. Between the taste of the wines, the size of the pours and how busy they were I got three of the 6 pours. 6c. The third winery is addressed in item 5. I would do the trip again.....but the 10 of us agreed we would pay $40 or $50 more to get hands on service at winery 3 and possibly winery 2. Thank you Ronnie for a great day! read more

The tour started off promising, with a scenic drive through the vineyards and picturesque countryside. Our guide wasn't knowledgeable about the region and did not provide any interesting facts about the wineries we were visiting. I would suggest introductions or ice breakers between the couples to help enhance the experience. However, Ben was energized and jazzed to drive around seven couples. Six people more than what we booked for. The lack of engagement from the guide made the tour feel somewhat lackluster. The wineries themselves had beautiful tasting rooms and stunning views. The wines we sampled varied in quality, with a some standout selections. It would have been great to learn more about the winemaking process and the unique characteristics of each wine, but unfortunately, the explanations lacked depth at two of the three. The pace of the tour was another aspect that left much to be desired. The second winery felt rushed leaving little time to truly savor and appreciate the wines. We tasted three wines out of six tastings. It would have been nice to have a more relaxed and leisurely experience, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the wine-tasting journey. This was caused due to a late lunch arrival. As we had to eat abruptly when lunch arrived. Additionally, the tour lacked any special touches or unique experiences that could have elevated it from being mediocre to memorable. We did have a behind-the-scenes glimpse of the winemaking process, but no special food pairings, or engaging activities to enhance the overall experience. Overall, while the wine tour had its moments, it was ultimately a mediocre experience. For wine enthusiasts seeking a truly immersive and memorable tour, I would recommend exploring other options that offer more in-depth knowledge, personalized attention, and build on opportunities of engagement with its riding patrons. read more

If you are looking for a wine tour, we highly recommend Straight Off The Vine Wine Tours in Temecula, California! There were four people in our group with a total of twelve guests. The bus was on time, clean, stocked with Champaign and water. They allowed us to bring a small cooler with snacks for ourselves, and they decorated to celebrate one of the guest's birthday. We visited three wineries and had a little over an hour at each location. Plenty of time to taste, shop a little bit, and take in the beauty of each winery. There was food for purchase at some locations and restaurants at others. Bel Vino had a band with outdoor seating to enjoy. Steven and Louis were very organized, courteous, and fun! We could not have had a better experience, it was amazing! We are recommending Straight Off The Vine Wine Tours to everyone, and we can't wait to go back to Temecula with more friends and take the tour again. I have been on a couple of wine tours and this was by far the most fun. Its easy to understand why this company has so many 5 star reviews. Our group was picked up at Pechanga Hotel on 1-10-18. They had complimentary champagne and water. We visited 3 different wineries, Danza Del Sol, Lorimar and Bel Vino. All the wineries were nice,and when we had lunch at Lorimar, we had an entire tasting room set up for our group of 28 people. Lunch was steak or chicken wraps and the steak was very good. Steven kept us on time and took pictures of the entire group. Eric was the driver / host of the bus I was on and I enjoyed his sense of humor. Our last stop was at Bel Vino and Jose was the server and he did a great job keeping up and serving everyone with a smile. I would definitely use this tour company again. I booked with Straight of the Vine for my Bachelorette weekend. We had a fabulous time thank to our driver Louie. He was a great driver and host. He made sure we had champagne glasses as soon as we boarded the bus, took pictures throughout the tour, set us up with our wine tasting at each winery, and even waited for our food to be ready while we were inside enjoying our tastings. By far the best customer service. I will definitely be booking with Straight off the Vine again and will be recommending them to friends and family. The price point was also a plus $79 per person for the party bus, unlimited champagne on the bus, 3 wineries with 5-6 tastings, and having a personal photographer documenting the fun! read more

This tour was great. My boyfriend accompanied me for my birthday. Our bus had a happy birthday banner which was really cool. We had complimentary champagne on the bus too. The first winery was our favorite, Mount Palomar. The place was beautiful and the bartender was awesome. We actually signed up for their wine club. The second winery was great cuz my boyfriend was able to get a beer. That was at Robert Renzoni. The last one I did not care for, there was way too many people and we had to drink doubles of our tastings so we could leave on time. There was not enough bartenders and I didn't get to enjoy the place. But all in all, it was a great price and a fun way to spend my birthday. read more

Our group of 10 girls had a fabulous time for my sisters bachelorette with straight off the vine. We visited 3 wineries and hand more than enough time and wine tasting at each winery. Steven was very helpful and answered any questions I had. We also booked a private party bus for our wine tour to pick us up and drop us off at location we stayed. During our party bus ride we had complementary champagne and water. Louie our driver was awesome!! He was very friendly, helpful and very patient especially with us 10 girls. I booked Straight Off the Vine Wine Tours for a friend's birthday party on Saturday, May 14th. They came highly recommend from another friend who had been on their wine tour to celebrate her birthday. Our tour guides were Louie and Steven and they were marvelous! They go above and beyond- the party bus was decorated with happy birthday decorations, fun music, fully stocked with champagne and water to keep us hydrated. Very important on a four hour wine tour! Made for a great bachelorette party! The first two winery's weren't that crowded and had friendly, personable staff, but the third was very crowded. We spent about an hour at each winery and got 6 1oz pours at each place. It was difficult to get all of our wine samples filled at the last winery due to the amount of people, but the food was great. The staff driving the bus was friendly and stocked the bus with waters (we ran out at one point but they restocked when I asked!) and champagne. It was a fun experience for a group of bridesmaids and a soon to be married lady out to have a good time. read more

It was my first time taking a tour bus for wine tasting. We ended up picking this company due to my wifes' past experience with them,as well as the excellent reviews it had gotten. We invited our family members for a nice day of wine tasting, and it was one of the best times we've had. The tour guides were professional, entertaining; And the bus has a nice decor with a good sound system . They offer ice cold champagne throughout the trip to each winery, which is a big plus! We booked the tour for my friends birthday party and had a blast! From the booking, organizing and planning, to the end of the tour they were very helpful. They offered to pick us up anywhere in Temecula, so we choose a restaurant to eat at when we were finished. .Both of the tour guides were friendly and informative. This was my first wine tasting event ever and I enjoyed every bit of it. We booked a party bus for my friend's 25th birthday. The bus was nice and stocked with water and champagne. The host Louie was great. He was very informative and made sure we knew the itinerary and the rules. He knew how to accommodate the group and all of our needs whether it was stopping to use the bathroom, suggesting where to get food, or even what type of wine we may like. This was my first time experiencing a wine tour. I decided I wanted to celebrate my 75 birthday enjoying tasting wine with my "gal" friends. We were picked up from my house by Louie in one of their wonderful limo/party busses. He took photos of my cake, singing inside the bus, and all along the way. We plugged in our own music, sat back and enjoyed the ride. Lots of tasting!!! Lunch was served at Bel Vino on their patio overlooking the vineyards. We even got a tour of the new Sumerset Vineyard. And they were willing to pick us up at a winery near where we were staying. Louie provided a fun day and made sure each winery took care of us even though we were a small group.
