He was incredibly knowledgeable, diligent, and genuinely dedicated to helping resolve my issue -- a problem that should have been taken care of four months ago was resolved in 30 minutes thanks to him. Stay away from this dentist office at all cost! We were lured into this office by deceptive front desk, when asked if they take our delta dental insurance, they said yes, turned out they are not in the network. Also, the dentist refused to offer all dental treatment options available. For my husband's missing four front teeth, there could be bridges, partial denture, implants, Dr Cyril only recommend to remove all his working teeth for a full denture. She left out the extraction part, imagine first they lied about in or out of the network, then leaving out all other costs, we could be deeply in debt when its too late to find out the truth and be trapped with very high bills afterwards. This is very dangerous, so we would warn all patients to be careful about this practice and stay away from them at all cost. If there is a zero option, we want to choose zero for this office, the worst medical provider we ever encountered in sarasota for years. Scammer is the word for this dentist office. read more

While negative stars should definitely be a thing, what would be better would be businesses/ individuals being held accountable for bad business. This has been a very long, very frustrating process. If doctors follow an oath to "first, do no harm", Stephie Cyril should not have the honor of the title. The experience was as follows: -Extremely misleading treatment plan totaling in over $18k. -Put entire financing in my consignor's name without my/their knowledge/ consent. Told all documents would be emailed. Didn't figure it out until trying to establish online account / make first payment. Told by office there was nothing that could be done as treatment had already started. There was a constant rotating door of staff. -Said additional procedures were needed well after treatment began. Said initial treatment "would never work" without additional procedures were done first. Cost in the thousands. -Provided only an ill-fitting, temporary top partial prosthetic. This has damaged my natural teeth further and caused them to shift greatly. -After many impressions taken, starting over twice and upwards of 5-6 wax "try-in" appointments with 2-week turnaround time each time, Dentist was unable to provide a fitting, functioning, bottom prosthetic. At what was to be the final visit the dentist was visibly upset with me and the situation and attempted to shave the teeth on the wax "try-in" while it was still in my mouth. This was aggressive and unnecessary as it certainly was not the only issue. --After refusing to initial and sign a form stating that I was happy with the work. I spoke with the office manager. I explained the experience, my frustration and asked if it was possible to work with a different dentist in the practice. She said she would find out/ contact me back. This never happened. Called week later and office manager no longer employed there. New office manager said there were no other dentists in the practice and that I could either initial the form and have that final wax "try-in" sent to the lab or I would have to pay for a new wax "try-in" and any additional lab work that needed to be done. -That last appointment was in January of 2025. This "treatment" started in October of 2023. No action was taken by the business or the dentist to rectify the situation. A letter was sent a couple weeks after the last interaction with the office manager saying because of the breakdown of the patient / doctor relationship dental services would no longer be provided. -It is going to cost me several thousand dollars to get the work that she started and was paid in full for, done. No insurance will cover needed work now because teeth have already been removed. Led to much more than a financial issue. Has greatly affected all the things places use to get you in the door to begin with. Health, confidence, self-esteem, ect. **NO MONEY HAS BEEN RETURNED AND THE WORK HAS NOT BE COMPLETED AT THIS WRITING** Figuring out where to start the process of rectifying this issue has not been an easy task. Difficult when they choose not to be members of accredited associations like the Florida Board of Dentistry or the Better Business Bureau. I rarely, if ever give up on things such as this and since that process is now well underway, I figured it was time to post this to hopefully prevent a dental nightmare for the next person. One of the many valuable lessons I learned through all of this...When doing your research...read the bad reviews first. I wish I had done that. This isn't even the only time she has done this, and I truly hope those other people filed formal complaints with the Florida Health Department. Every person I have spoken to has been appalled by this. Other dentists, your fellow peers, have been disgusted by your actions and have tried to assure me that not all are the same. Don't be fooled with $59 xray special. Once they get you in the office they ask you to do a google review as you are filling out new patient forms. I had a small cavity. They said tooth needed to be extracted and I would need a tooth implant. They tried to get me to open a credit card for work I declined. i definately agree with bin z and jasmine h reviews. i took my husband to this office for one extraction (when i made the app't they said they did extractions), and two partials. on the first app't they did xrays and cleaning and fillings. on the 2nd app't we waited 2 hrs for my husband to be seated in the chair, only to be told that they could not do the extraction (what we initially went there for because my husband was in discomfort). due to the fact that he was taking a blood thinner. he needed to be seen by someone in a hospital-like setting. they were aware that we had gotten doctor's approval prior to this app't. they referred us to a specialist. we went to the specialist and had the work done. while in his office he told us that there was no need for a hospital-like setting, it was a very easy extraction and with the adjustment in dosage of blood thinner there should be no bleeding problems. because he was a specialist we were charged twice as much as a simple extraction would have cost $780. needless to say, we did not go back to "your sarasota dentist". because they hadarranged for financing through primier health (do not let them talk you into this!), the dentist had been paid up front for the whole plan she had worked up, $4000.00. we paid thier office over $1500.00 for the work they said they did. i'm still trying to get the balance from the $4000.00 they owe me and it's been 1 full year. my advice....stay as far away from them as possible! they should have a class-action suit brought against them. i would not give them any star rating but to submit this review i have to. it should be - a rating! read more

I really don't know what to do anymore. I love Dr. Cyril and I love the work done by Dr. Michaud, but, once again, I went to have my appointment and I was told I had a bill pending. I thought I was over with the administrative disaster that I've gone through, but it seems that continues. I even received a statement of another patient, which is a total HIPAA violation. I guess it was sent to me because we have the same last name. At this pint, I don't know if I really owe anything, because I was told like four times that everything was covered by my insurance and now that I received a bill from a different person, I don't know what to think. Also, I went in person to try to solve this and I was told someone will contact me and I'm still waiting after a month.
