The first was a last-minute booking on Carnival for a quick trip to Key West and Havana, Cuba. We did it in August, not the best month (hot and not Gary's fault, we were trying to beat the closure of Cuba to visitation by U.S. citizens). We enjoyed our time in Key West and Havana. Gary suggested that we not take the cruise ships tour to the Earnest Hemingway haunts in Havana as it would be crowded and it would be moving very fast to get everyone from one place to the other. He suggested a local tour company which turned out to be perfect. We saw places and things we would never have seen on the cruise ship tour. Then last year booked a TourCruise with Gary on Princess Cruises. We wanted a balcony room on the port (left) side of the ship so we would be on the land side going south. At first, there were no balcony rooms on the port side, but through Gary's persistence, he was able to get us a cancelled room on the port side with a balcony. He also suggested that we take the land portion first (7 days) and the cruise portion last so we could rest up from the hectic running from the land portion. What a great idea, thanks, Gary. He booked our air travel to Fairbanks and back from Vancouver, Canada. The entire trip was so smooth. We are very happy with everything that Gary did to make our Alaska CruiseTour the best possible. He was also able to upgrade our included tour of Denali National Park to the 8 hour Wilderness Wildlife Tour. It was amazing and I would encourage everyone to go on it. We have booked a cruise on Norwegian Cruise Lines for the 2019 Christmas holidays to the Western Caribbean through Gary at Hiatus Travel- Knoxville. We have not taken it as of this writing but Gary has been great getting us what we were looking for as to the cabin, departure dates, itinerary, and booking perks which are saving us a substantial amount of money. When they processed the docs, they transferred it as Straight Docs, instead of Combo Docs which basically attaches it to your existing membership. I paid the $299 transfer fee, but the way they filed the docs, the timeshare would not be combined with my current membership. I was forced to pay another $299 for them to file the paperwork correctly! Despite, the error being on their side, they forced me to pay the fee again. The fee goes to the timeshare company, not IA Vacations, but they should have covered it. The entire process took 13 months from ebay purchase to timeshare transfer! Mind you, I wired the full payment from the purchase within 3 days of the auction close! I have an extensive e-mail chain with them which explains this in much more detail if you are interested in viewing it.

VP Title has no idea how to do this kind of exchange. Jessica in particular should not be any part of any other timeshare exchange. It seems that the company, timeshareconnection, that listed the property on ebay then turns over the exchange part to VP. If you use either of these companies, be ready for delays, emails and phone calls not returned, and flimsy excuses, over and over. VP has a F rating with the Better Business Bureau, for good reason. Not sure how these companies relate to redweek4less or IA vacations, but from the reviews here, they are all operate about the same....beware.

This time when we came the fireplace wasn't working,we called the office and they came out immediately and had it fixed by the time we came back from dinner. Sugarland Visitor Center on the Tennessee side on Great Smoky Mountain National Park was crowded…read morewith visitors during my visit. The parking lot was full at 9:30 in the morning! The Center offers a nice exhibit of animals and plants that can be seen in the park. Rangers are available to help answer questions and help design Park itineraries for visitors. The Center is a perfect place to pick up maps and other Park info. We bought parking passes and I picked up several cool walking sticks in the gift shop to give as gifts. Prices on some items were reasonable. The staff were super friendly despite the crowds. There are rest rooms available...the last real restrooms before entering the Park. Outside, are little "gardens" featuring native Park vegetation. Addition parking is being added. Every visitor to the Park should plan a stop at the Center. Plan 30 minutes to an hour.
