My Review: This boasts that you can comfortably sleep up to 14 guests in one area- 24 in another, slightly confusing but let's do the math -5 king beds sleep 10, 2 queen bunks sleep 8 total, & 3 sleeper sofas sleep 6, so that would be 24 -no idea why it contradicts itself - possibly to have a crutch to lean on with all the accommodations they don't actually offer. Let's talk about the 3 queen sofa beds, this is only true if you plan to bring your own pillows, blankets & sheets for the pullout couches as not only are none provided but they tell you they will bring some & finally bring them ON THE LAST DAY ... make that make sense. Overall, the house was clean but very damaged-except for the showers which looked like they had not been cleaned at all. Soap wrapper was actually left in one of them. As far as sleep, I hope you don't want to sleep past the sunrise on your vacation as there are NO BLINDS or CURTAINS in almost every room from the back side- bright & early the sun is in your face; no curtains at all on the front side of the house which doesn't help much with the temperature in the summer. Let's talk about washcloths/towels. AT A MINIMUM, we should have been left 24 (since that is what the house sleeps) AT A MINIMUM. We were left 12. Not even enough for everyone that it supposedly sleeps. We called &asked for more, as with everything else, it showed up ON THE LAST DAY. Private Home Theater: Enjoy movie nights in your own theater room, equipped with a large screen and comfortable seating for a cinematic experience. My Review: Comfortable Seating is pushing it but we can live with that, what you can't live with is not even being able to watch anything on the TV "theater" due to the fact that in our 4 nights there, we had internet access for POSSIBLY 6 hours total. We called, texted, & emailed regarding internet service, was told multiple times that a service call was entered-they would get someone out to the cabin. No one EVER came to attempt to fix this issue. Entertainment Options: The game room is equipped with a pool table, air hockey, and arcade games, ensuring entertainment for guests of all ages. My Review: Air Hockey table was unable to be used because the pusher was broken, I called, texted, & emailed about this within the first few hours of arrival,was told they would have a pusher out the next morning;the pusher was finally brought out on our last day. There are NO arcade games. Relaxation Amenities: Unwind in the private hot tub on the deck or relax in the cozy living area after a day of adventure My Review: the hot tub and living area are nice as suggested, however if you look at the photos and think, wow this porch with this swing & rocking chairs look so relaxing and I cannot wait for that .... well wait, there is no longer a swing and the 2 rocking chairs that are out there (so not as many as are shown online) are smaller than shown on the photos & very rickety. Modern Conveniences: The cabin includes a fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, complimentary Wi-Fi, and multiple flat-screen TVs with cable/satellite channels. My Review: kitchen is fine, washer and dryer are fine, wifi is non-existent as mentioned above which makes it hard to classify this rental as a "theatre", there is NO CABLE or SATELLITE on ANY TV in the entire cabin. The only TV's that you could even watch while we were there were the two smart TV's that you could connect to your own personal Netflix or other account and that was only for the few hours that we had Wifi to do so. The TV's in the room were POINTLESS. Outdoor Features: Take advantage of the charcoal BBQ grill and deck seating for outdoor dining and relaxation. We (my husband, my dad, and I) stayed at Touched by an Angel outside Sevierville. I booked through Venture Smoky Mountains. This was my husband and I's first time coming to the Smokies! There's an absolutely overwhelming amount of cabins/rental groups to choose from which makes it hard to know which to book. You didn't get the address of the cabin till AFTER you booked which was super strange and I didn't like that at all. And because I was new to this, I thought the address listed at the bottom of the page was our cabin but it ended up being their office location! This is the mountains of course, and the cabin was up there! Some of the turns were so sharp getting up there we had to reverse in the road to be able to turn. Thankfully the roads up there aren't busy. We were supposed to get a coupon book but we never did. There was definitely a smell about the cabin-not saying it was 'bad' but it had its own smell for sure. The smell stays on your things after you leave! The good: overall pretty clean. Appeared to be new appliances (or just well kept). The furniture in the living room and the beds were pretty comfortable. AC worked good! We had WiFi. Not too many bugs except for the ones I'll mention later. The jacuzzi was large. I liked that the downstairs bedroom had double doors with a lock. Ok now the brutally honest truth of it all. The security system didn't seem to be plugged into anything. Our fireplace didn't work (there was no note left mentioning if it was because of the time of year). The hot tub didn't work (lights came on but no jets and or heat) and was gross looking. There was a film on the water and a big dead bug. The tub itself didn't look like it had been cleaned in a long time. And on Venture's page it says "Your hot tub was completely drained, cleaned, sanitized, and re-filled prior to your stay for your pleasure and safety." I call absolute bullcrap on that! I thought it was weird that there were no pictures of the bathroom/showers on the site. Now I know why: the showers were tiny half showers. Our shower on our cruise ship was bigger! It was horrid and I dreaded taking a shower-not just for the size but the STINK! Listen, I grew up on well water that smelt like pennies. This smelt like straight sewage! Yuck!!! And another couple we met on the trip who were no where near us also had the same thing. Who wants to bathe in water that smells like sewage?! Showering left us feeling dirtier than before. And brushing your teeth with it? Not appetizing. The water is so hard that in the downstairs bathroom sink and jacuzzi there were rust stains from the water constantly dripping. Looked gross. The bathroom sink faucet and the shower faucets NEED to be soaked in vinegar! They are so scummed over and the water shoots out in odd ways because it's plugged. So when washing hands downstairs, you get soaked because the way the water comes out. No water pressure in upstairs shower. I brought my own Clorox wipes and tried wiping the jacuzzi down (including the stain). One of the selling points for me was the jacuzzi. But because it was so large (which isn't a negative) it wouldn't fill. I ran the water for 10 minutes and when I sat in it, it still didn't cover my feet. Who has time to wait for their bath to fill for an hour?! Also, there were things floating in it and it smelled like sewage so I was NOT relaxed! I said screw it, got out and drained it. Twice I stepped on small glass shards around the downstairs bed. Thank God they didn't cut me. Our last night there, my dad had a big wasp hanging on his ceiling fan cord. Then another crawling in his lamp. There was also a third wasp (not sure if there were more lurking elsewhere). He killed two to three and they were all concentrated around the bed. He ended up getting stung around 2 AM on his belly underside which was under the covers! You do have a neighboring cabin to the left side of you. So no hanky-panky on the porch The closet door in the bedroom downstairs scrapes the floor and doesn't open all the way without force. The remote batteries upstairs were dying and I don't think there was a handle on the closet door. The drawer next to the oven won't open unless the oven door is pulled down. There were food particles on one of the spoons that the cabins provides. Overall, this left my husband and I feeling like we wouldn't want to chance staying in a cabin again. Also, it's like a 10-15 minute drive into town (which we are used to that, we are from the country!) but we would rather stay in a hotel along the strip next time.

I should've realized with booking; initially tried to book online but ended up calling because there apparently the old site up that they can't get down. Booking on the phone was simple enough once I was on with the right place but afterwards everything just went downhill. Firstly the cabin looks NOTHING like any of the pictures that are on the website. There was trash all outside, everything is changed from the inside, the furniture, seating etc. My husband, kid and myself stayed on the bottom floor, and my sister and her family stayed on the main floor. Getting to the cabin: We drive 9 hours to get to what we thought was a well maintained, nice cabin. WALKING IN, there was BIRD POOP everywhere, and I do mean everywhere. I have no clue when the cabin was last cleaned prior to our stay but based on the calendar bookings, 2 days prior to our stay was the last booked. There was bird poop on the floors, doors, back of the couches, door frames.. I mean, it was bad. I kept looking around and found that our kitchen sink had a leak in the piping under it and they had just placed a bowl there to catch the water but there was already a puddle of gross water under the bowl. The dishwasher also had a puddle of standing water on the bottom and smelled kind of gross. So I called the main office and told them about the poop and the leak, I was told the cleaners were otw but we left and started our vacation. Upon getting back, they did clean the bird poop up but when I checked under the sink, there was now 2 bowls for leaks - both sides of the sink were leaking vs just the one, and the dishwasher was not touched. Finally at night we decided to get cleaned up. Reminder- me and my fam are on the bottom floor. So my kid is about to take a shower downstairs when he comes and tells me water is on the floor. I go look and see water is leaking from the ceiling; it's coming from the wall and the vent overhead. I immediately called the after hours line and she tells me that she put in an urgent request with maintenance and someone should be calling soon- I received NO call. Also- the downstairs bathroom tub knob was broken, the knob wasn't "hooked" to what it needed to be hooked too in order to turn the water to hot/cold, and of course the tub didn't drain properly in any of the bathrooms (which I also mentioned). I was able to find out that the leak was coming from the upstairs master bathroom shower- so that's 2 showers down. So all 7 of us used the upstairs hall shower- which had no pressure, drained terribly so you stand in a bath of your dirty water, and made a lot of noise that scared my kid (he's 8). The next day I still receive no call and notice some other things with the cabin: the picture showed seating for 8, there's only 6 chairs, the a/c doesn't work very well (it stayed about 76 degrees the whole time even at night). There was smushed bugs everywhere on the walls and bugs continued to keep coming in through the cracks at the door and windows. The windows were nasty, webs, dead bugs etc. they could've at least taken a duster to em. The floor boards were gapping terribly and the floors were not very even (yes I know it's a cabin but this was super uneven). The cooking ware is def not up to standard, I brought my own from previous experiences. We also used paper plates, plastic cups and utensils, the only thing we used kitchen wise was the coffee maker- which took a long time to make coffee. Also, there wasn't enough towels for all of use, we went to Walmart and bought some for us to use also for a box fan to help cool the rooms down. The washer/dryer is subpar, the wash more so slightly jiggled vs truly agitated. The dryer took about an hour n half to dry. On day 3 I called back and spoke with another rep. I asked about the maintenance call and no one came out or called me back- she stated there was no record of my call. So I told her my issues again. I requested a partial refund due to a breach of contract in their end and read verbatim what the contract said vs services actually provided. She said she'll put a maintenance request in and that a manger would contact me in 5-7 days regarding the refund (it's still within time so I haven't gotten a call yet). So the 7 of use continued to use one dreadful shower. The next day, day 4, we wake up to a bag of towels. We didn't hear anyone come in or knock or anything. So we leave for the day and when we come back, I realize the shower handle in the downstairs bathroom was fixed and the tubs are draining better. My sister still didn't use the master bath shower since that was a fix you'd have to tear up the floors for. I found this company by using Yelp actually. They had a very reasonably priced cabin called the honey bear hollow that sleeps 8-12 people. Me having a family of 7 made it a perfect fit. So you book through the site. Place a credit card on file and pay half up and they will take the second half a week or so before your arrival date. The day of check in You will receive a text notification with an address and pass code for the cabin and the trash cans outside. The day before check out they will text you checking out info and cleanup rules. Our honey bear hollow cabin was beautiful and very nice. You have a covered porch with two rocking chairs and you walk into a nice spacious living room and a kitchen. Off that main floor to the immediate right of the kitchen is a king sized master bedroom and full bathroom with a dual shower head walk in shower. Off the backside of the kitchen is a locked door with a covered patio area with your own personal hot tub. As soon as you walk in where the living room area is a spiral staircase. You get to the top and immediately in front of you is another bathroom with a walk in shower. To the left is a loft area with a pool table and another king sized bed. To the right is another room that features a queen sized bed, a fun retro arcade machine with several classic arcade games and another full sized bed. On our trip here in March of 2022 we got to experience both warm weather cabin life and snowfall cabin life. On our first day here we had beautiful sunny weather up in the high 70's. The next morning we woke up to about 4 inches of snow. I'll give the grounds crew credit. The roads were salted the day before when it was sunny and when we woke up the next morning to a mountain winter wonderland the roads and Drive ways were completely cleared. The surrounding area of the cabin site has a few neighbors. Some closer than others but you still have a ton of privacy. The grounds in the very back has a cute small log cabin chapel and playground. Throughout the site is cool little decor of equipment and even a fake "general" or "thrift" store to give it that southern Sevierville feel to the place. The kids and us loved our cabin. Very spacious and comfortable beds. Nice place to play pr relax and has TVs in each room and in a beautiful area. They really enjoyed the personal hot tub as well. Outside we did have our own grill so if you want to cook out that is an option as well. If I had to critique anything it would be that the pool table in the loft is in a small and tight area. The pool sticks are too long to get off any shot you want without bumping a wall. The TVs all had directv so you had cable but it would be nice if they had a smart tv for streaming services. Overall this was a fantastic and well priced experience and visit. In most of our out of town cheer comps we have to stay in specific hotels near the competition sights. On this trip we was able to book what we wanted to and this massive and fun cabin was actually cheaper per night for a family of 7 like Mine. So we were thrilled with everything!

From the vaulted ceilings, jaw dropping warm wood finishes and perfectly selected Smokey Mountain décor you'll love the nature wood beauty and cozy décor. The panoramic views of Mt. This was our first stay at one of Jackson Mountain Home Cabin Rentals in Gatlinburg, TN. We had viewed the cabin online but the pictures honestly don't do it justice. As we drove into the Black Bear Falls Community and farther and farther up the mountain the views only improved and cabin sizes seemed to increase. As we drove along I suddenly wondered why we had waited so long to rent a cabin. Almost to the top of the mountain road we pulled into the huge 2450 sq. ft. Emotional Rescue Log Home. We had been told we had four parking spaces and 4 vehicles fit well in the area. As we unloaded the vehicles we so appreciated the few 5 or 6 steps from the car to the front door. As you enter the foyer you can immediately turn left and down the stairs to the game room and two lower king size bedrooms or straight ahead with 2 king bedrooms & baths on each side of living room. The layout provides so much privacy in each bedroom and bath that we often forgot we were with two other couples. Both common areas are perfect for lounging in front of the 50 inch plasma TV or enjoying appetizers in front of the fireplace for long conversations while enjoying the spectacular view. We were told traveling to Gatlinburg from our cabin would be approximately 10 minutes but honestly it felt more like a half hour. The roads are narrow and curvy which you expect in the majestic Smokies but allow for additional time when traveling. Prefer to stay in and take full advantage of the cabin amenities then try your hand at pool or one of the 60 classic games on the game console. Remember Pac Man? The heated pool area is lovely and close to the cabin but I recommend you drive instead of walking with the blind spots on the curves. With flat screen televisions in each bedroom, two 50 inch plasmas TV in the common areas, 6DVD players, a phenomenal kitchen and dining room and a soothing hot tub on the scenic lower deck you find yourself not wanting to leave the cabin. One of my personal favorites is the cabin has a custom whole house, 5.1 surround sound audio system. 8 zones, each with touch button wall controls, and stereo in all bedrooms and on both decks! It was great having quick, accessible music on the decks, while in the hot tub, party music in the game room and easy jazz during dining and in each bedroom and bath. Oh, I almost forgot the wireless Internet connection for all our phones and laptops. One other amenity I haven't mention is you have access to the Gatlinburg Community Center. There you can bowl, play billiards, basketball, racquet ball, use the indoor pool and walking track. There is a small usage fee but I don't remember how much it was. I can't imagine anyone having the need or time unless you're stuck in a snow storm but it is available. This isn't a hotel with daily room service. Housekeeping doesn't clean daily nor bring fresh towels and sheets each day but you can pick up at the office. We just took advantage of the washer and dryer in the cabin for our personal clothing, swimsuits, and towels. When you are ready to leave, you'll contact the office and a staff member will quickly inspect the cabin before you leave. I'll leave you with this. If you want a gorgeous cabin that with 4 King Size Bedrooms and baths with spectacular views and you want to pack lightly, then call and reserve this cabin. You will not be disappointed. One last suggestion is grab breakfast in Gatlinburg at Crockett's 1875 Breakfast Camp who has Fabulous Food and a fun 1800's atmosphere. Well worth the wait.

Before we ever arrived, we had multiple payment-related issues that required weeks of back and forth to resolve. The full balance was pulled incorrectly, I received messages saying our payment had been declined despite providing screenshots showing the charge and confirmation, and it took repeated communication before the payment was finally located and confirmed. Unfortunately, once we arrived, the cabin was not properly cleaned between guests. There was a strong smoke odor throughout the cabin, broken glass left behind, personal belongings from previous guests, clothing under furniture, confetti/debris, and remnants from what appeared to be a prior party. We had children staying with us, so the broken glass was especially concerning. Because we arrived shortly before scheduled dinner reservations, we did not spend our first night waiting on housekeeping or maintenance. Instead, we handled it ourselves so our family could safely settle in. We stripped beds, sanitized surfaces, cleaned bathrooms, and purchased replacement bedding and towels locally because of the smoke odor and concerns about cleanliness. We still made the best of our time in Pigeon Forge, but the overall experience fell far below expectations, especially given the amount paid for the stay. After checkout, I contacted management privately with photos and details of the issues. I also sent a polite follow-up when I received no response. They treated us with utter cruelty. THE MOUSE INFESTATION & BITES: We found mouse droppings directly IN THE BED. That same night, my 10-year-old nephew was bitten by pests in that exact bed while trying to sleep! When we complained, their employee Alex immediately offered to put "rat traps" inside the condo. They knew they had rodents and rented it anyway. FALSE ADVERTISING: They advertised an elevator for "ease of entry." COMPLETE LIES! To even get to the luggage cart and elevator at Gatlinburg Chateau 507, you have to lug heavy baggage up 6 steep steps. For senior citizens with severe mobility issues terrified of falling, this was an agonizing safety hazard. NO SUPPLIES & RUDE STAFF: They left us ONE roll of paper towels and three cheap rolls of toilet paper for a week. When we asked for more, Alex refused to let maintenance deliver it because he "didn't have a locator" on his guy, nastily demanding that our disabled family drive all the way to their office just to get toilet paper. To make it worse, the inside doors of the condo were broken and locked automatically, trapping us out of bedrooms and bathrooms constantly. THE TICKET SCAM: Their "free entertainment tickets" are a trap. You only get one free ticket for a single person; everyone else has to pay $50-$97. We used it for the "Speedwerkz Exotic Car Experience" for my nephew. The ad promises "photo opportunities with cars," but the entire venue is a total rip-off--the cars are completely sealed off behind a glass wall. The kids can't even get close to them. STOLE OUR REFUND: Because we were disabled and trapped, we accepted a 10% refund offer of our total costs to stay. Alex promised $110-$120 in 2-3 days. Then his supervisor Kelly delayed it to 10 days. In the end, they scammed us again, only refunding $82.59 by sneakily subtracting hidden fees. They ruined our vacation and targeted an elderly, disabled family. Photos of the mouse waste and the bite are attached. Formal state health and consumer fraud complaints have been filed!

I had a cabin which was managed by Mountain Rentals of Gatlinburg. The first thing they did was…read morerenege on their contract. They were supposed to video the interior before a guest arrived and upon their checkout to be sure that the guests left the cabin in good condition. They did not. They had poor service as evidenced by allowing items to be stolen without charging the renters for their theft. They also allowed a carpet, which was under warrantee, become frayed; when asked to contact the carpet vendor to have it repaired or replaced, they did not do so. It became more damaged which then gave me bad reviews as my carpet was "shabby". Guests also took decorative throw -pillows as well as kitchen items. They also allowed their housekeepers to destroy my bed skirts by carelessly vacuuming them, getting the bed skirts caught up in the vacuum which tore them apart. They appear to rent out their own properties first before they rent out the properties they manage. Housekeepers stole my new expensive pots and pans as well as new flatware and plates to be placed in other people's cabins, replacing them with burnt and horrible appearing items. On one occasion I found that they had replaced my 5 pot and pan set with 2 items: a small pot which was bent so that it would not fit flat on the stove, and a Teflon coated frying pan, also bent as well as scratched up and burned on the cooking surface so it was unusable. When this company was managing my cabin, I had to purchase 3 sets of new pots and pans, beverage glasses, flatware, and bedding as well as table clothes and table settings. I also had to purchase a new light ($90) to replace one they threw out because someone put a 60 watt bulb in a bulb receptacle which clearly stated 15W maximum. They also stole a hot-tub cover from my hot-tub on the deck. When I fired them and hired a different management company, they placed wet sheets and blankets into a bedroom closet allowing them to become ruined with mold. I sent multiple emails requesting a replacement check to be sent to me, attention to "Patrick" who was the manager. I never received the check. I lost thousands of dollars by using them to "manage " my property. All they did was "manage" me so that they were the only people making money on my rental property. Nice working with them wasn't it? If you want your property mismanaged, they are the way to go.

Spent the night sweating, today the indoor temperature climbed to 85 and they expected us to sit and wait "hoping" the A/C would start working with a small child and dog. We had to find another rental last minute for the safety of the puppy and child. They refuse to refund or provide an alternate rental as a good company or owner should do. And provided an insulting refund offer for one night while system is still not cooling. Other than the A/C issue during a heat advisory, the bathroom sinks filled up and drained very slowly there is mold growing on and around the HVAC unit itself, we wouldn't have mentioned or complained about anything if they would've actually done something about how hot it was.

I encountered several issues that made my stay uncomfortable, including: * Smell - Mold/Mildew/Smoke - very stale and irritating allergens - it was hard to even stay inside the smell was so offensive * Jacuzzi tub - black grit/dirt coming out of faucet with water; loud squealing noise in pipes? * Hot Tub - green slime in tub, odd chemical smell - not related to chlorine products * Tub/Shower - brown water coming out of faucet for extended period of time * TV remote would not work * Yellow stained sheets, smelling of smoke All of these were discovered upon check-in. It appeared that the cabin may not have been used for some time and wasn't updated for guest arrival. We attempted to eliminate the odor with sprays/disinfectants that we had to go and purchase. We then attempted to use the hot tub, jets would not stay on and there appeared to be some sort of slime in the tub. Upon exiting the hot tub, we tried the jacuzzi tub to rinse the slime off; that water was just as bad, then attempted to shower only to find it much worse. We gave the cabin a chance even though we weren't happy upon arrival. Things just progressively got worse. This was such a disappointment for our Anniversary stay. We travel often and have rented cabins in a variety of areas across the country. Older/aged cabins are common to us; this was well below expectations and description. We unfortunately did not trust that we would be able to seek resolution at 10pm and chose to check into a cabin owned by a different company. We did not get settled until well after midnight somewhere else and lost so much time.
