When I decided to get a generator last fall and learned that McNeer was an authorized installer for Generac, it was a no brainer. I called them. McNeer installed my generator and I was very pleased. I needed to have the circuit breaker for my bathroom heater replaced. I also wanted to change the time that the generator did its weekly self-test. I was happy that I was able to get it all done in one service visit. Tanner and Tristan were great. Tanner ran a diagnostic test on my bathroom heater to be sure that it was not blowing the circuit breaker. It was not broken. It just needed a new light bulb. They took care of that. Tristan changed the time for the generator self test.

I initially called Jeff to check out why our dryer had stopped working. My wife and I thought the…read moredryer had gone out, but once Jeff got into the wall outlet he found that for some reason the wiring had come loose from the outlet. He probably saved us from having a fire in the house. Then, we were just telling him about some other things we were thinking about having done. We were wanting our hall bathroom remodeled and the old cast iron tub taken out and replaced with a walk-in shower. The next thing you know he is tackling that update. Not only did he do the walk-in shower but he also repainted the bathroom. Then he fixed a bad place in the hall ceiling and painted the hall. But, he wasn't done. He then took down the old laundry room cabinets that were installed in the laundry room when the house was built in the mid 1970s. He repainted the laundry room and installed new flooring for it. Also, the air vent for the dryer was through the wall into the garage. He drilled a hole in the laundry room outside wall and vented the dryer to the outside. He also took care of a couple of other minor things that he thought needed to be done. If you need anything, and I mean anything, done around your house don't hesitate to give him a call. His prices are very reasonable and he is just so much fun to talk to. From the first time he walked into our house we immediately liked him.

Because they provided and installed the floor 3 years ago, and because of their excellent service, we decided to have House of Carpets provide the flooring and do the installation. Mary efficiently planned and ordered tie required pieces for replacement. As expected, the crew that came out (Jose and Joelle) were very professional, courteous, and attentive to our needs and concerns. They had to tear out the existing boards and clean off all the residual glue from the previous installation - no small task! Jose did a masterful job of installing the wood flooring, fitting the boards in perfectly (really amazing to watch the measuring and cutting of the pieces to fit around the 8 door openings in the relatively small space). Because of the layout of the hall, they were unable to finish in one day (we had no other way to get to our bedroom, and couldn't walk on the newly installed pieces for about 10-12 hours). They skipped a couple of days due to previous commitments but finished the installation in less than a day. This was just one of many successful interactions we have had with House of Carpets over the 40+ years since our first purchase in 1980.
