I was on a zoom meeting with Matt and after a couple of minutes he hung up. I wanted to see the presentation, but he was rude when he disconnected the call. Since I've received several emails about the issue, heres an update about our refund. Yes we were refunded. It did take several phone calls and emails from us. We originally contacted our credit card company and informed them of what was going on and they allotted the company a grace period to refund the money. This is a scam! I bought the product and made several phone calls in the month of December and January to make a reservation for a Las Vegas vacation. They informed they would provide a confirmation email of the hotel and time. But no confirmation whatsoever. Over a month I made 3 phone calls to remind them, but still no confirmation. I requested a cancellation and a full refund, and they denied because it's over 7 days. I have created a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I received a call yesterday from someone named Mark on a Saturday offering me a special stay in a new Caesars Palace property (The Linq) claiming this is their new premier property. I'm in sales myself and must say the people I spoke with were very good on the phone. I recently stayed at Caesars and they offer me comped rooms and specials etc so at first I thought it was Caesars Palace calling me. Then he said their offer includes a $500 Marriott Travel card, $100 restaurant credit, $200 casino credit, 3 nights 4 days stay with no blackout dates, access to a concierge, free shows, they also said we could take 4-6 adults with the package. I'm familiar with time shares, my wife actually owns one and we have been to presentations before and know the drill. I've also stayed in Vegas alot and at friends time shares anyways despite knowing what I know I made a bad decision to take their offer and give them my credit card info without doing any independent research. They charged me $319 for the package and it sounded great. After doing a little homework right after I saw these reviews and others elsewhere, and saw red flags everywhere. I immediately called them back to try and cancel, no answer, I looked up their website and called that number, no answer. I called the concierge number, no answer. At this point panic started to set in. I immediately called my bank and tried to stop the pending charge but they were less than helpful. I had to call them twice and get very strongly worded before I got any help. I also knew the merchant would try and contest me if I tried to reverse the charge so I sent them a very strong email, reported them with a do not call list violation and told them if they don't refund my money immediately I would be pursuing a class action lawsuit and launching a highly visible website to expose their deceptive tactics and what I would call a scam. They emailed me back same day and the money was refunded. My experience is the same as some others here. We received a call about a vacation package on May 17, 2014. We eventually agreed to it. When we received a confirmation email from them the following day, we looked it over and decided to cancel. We sent an email that same day, May 18. It has been over 90 days and still no refund or response from them. I have called, emailed several times and contacted the BBB. I am hoping the BBB will help me get my refund. Avoid this business at all costs. This company performs as a marketing arm for timeshare presentations. They may or may not be related to the actual timeshare company but they sell "discounted" vacation packages to entice people to vacation in Vegas and attend a timeshare presentation. I received the solicitation via a phone call and in a moment of weakness, I bought the package. I paid $350 for a 3 night hotel package + show tickets + a free meal in Vegas. Although they were up front about requiring a timeshare presentation, everything else was misrepresented. During phone, they "sold" Caesar's Palace room stay and Cirque du Soleil shows. What I got was the Westgate Casino off the strip and "V" the Ultimate Variety Show (worth $40 per ticket at best). It's questionable whether my package was worth the $350 + I had to attend the timeshare presentation. The booking process was a nightmare. On different occasions, their phone system would be down OR I'd leave a message and no one would return the phone call OR I would speak to someone but my dates were unavailable or required a hefty surcharge to stay at Caesar's or similar quality hotel. Many times, I thought that the company had gone under and took my money because they were so unreachable. The whole process just felt like a scam. The credit charge was charged to a company with a different name. The credit card I used was subject to fraud shortly after I purchased the package. I also received an anonymous letter telling me that the the company was a scam. I did finally use the package one year after purchase. It was at best a breakeven proposition but definitely not worth the hassle and misrepresentation dealing with this company. The sad part for the timeshare company is that they actually had a compelling offering at the presentation but there was no way I was going to buy from them after the horrible experience leading up to the presentation. read more

Embarrassed to say that I fell for the same scam. Was told about the 7-day cancellation period and that I would receive details within 48 hours. Details didn't arrive, and when they did (upon request), they were boiler plate with no specifics as to which hotel, discounts, etc. I called several times, and each time someone answered (855-748-4600). Each time they took down my info and said they'll send me the detailed confirmation. It never arrived. The didn't know that I e-mailed a written cancellation on day 6. I disputed with Visa. It's not worth wasting more time. They strategy, IMHO, is to string their 'victims' along and give them false hope until after the cancellation period is over. We booked our own rooms because they put us downtown off of Fremont St a ways. Bad Deal. The free shows had 2 drink minimun for $29 per person. Another had free but had a fee per person to get in. I sent in a cancellation 2 days after I reluctantly signred up for a package. I was told I had to sign up now but I had 7 days to cancel if I was not interested in the package after I talked to my wife. It's been almost 3 months and numerous phone calls stating that the refund is being processed but it take 30 days, 12 days ,and then i was told that it would be done March 29th. I called and now I get the runaround that the finance department is dealing with the credit card company. I had not filed a dispute with the credit card company because "Debbie" who supposedly is the manager that handles the refunds said it would delay the process and now is stating that there is nothing she can do . We received no email no paperwork of any kind, when we requested our money back they informed us that it was in our nonexistent paperwork that there was a only a 7 day right to cancel. We received a call and said we were no interested in their offer, however they offered a lot of other products and prizes, my husband decided to accept it. After talking overnight, we decided to call and cancel the purchase. One of the numbers didn't work, and the representative from the other number told us to follow the instructions at the fine line of the contract e-mail. The instructions say:" Our cancellation policy is seven (7) calendar days from the date of purchase. Validity to your intent to cancel must be received in writing via email within the seven (7) day period or by US mail postmarked within the seven (7) day period. A full refund less the processing fee will be issued within thirty (30) business days from the date of cancellation. Once your dates have been confirmed, a cancellation fee of $150.00 (one hundred fifty US dollars) will be charged. If a credit card is charged back after the (7) calendar day cancellation period, and YVD wins the dispute, there will be an additional $100.00 administration fee charged to the cardholder", However there are no e-mail addresses or physical addresses. When calling for the second time, we got a vague explanation. A legit company would make the rules real clear and explicit, not within the fine line, and with hidden information. We have written an e-mail and a letter, and used the resources we found online. I will expect a full refund within the next 30 days. read more

This company is a SCAM. Do not do business with them....just hang up if they call! The only thing they have are good salesman! Too bad their sales men can't be put to better use somewhere. I normally don't sign up for things like this but a salesman named Dave Lemans called me one Saturday when I was in some kind of mood I guess. He was very nice and sold me a 3 night 4 day package to Las Vegas as described in the other reviews here. First I looked up the hotel he said I could stay at on yelp and Trip Advisor and all the reviews said it was a dump. When I told him that he agreed to upgrade me to a different hotel. Of course he said I had 7 days to cancel the package, so I figured I had nothing to lose. Well the next day I thought better of it and called to cancel....this time I got Eric Grayson the sales director. When I told him I really didn't like Las Vegas anyway and wanted to cancel he informed me that there were many other places to choose from and I decided up on something in Palm Springs, which I love. But when my confirmation email came it was nothing that I had discussed with Eric. It was for Las Vegas package and not even the upgraded one! So not wanting to have anything else to do with them I immediately cancelled in writing via email. They were supposed to refund me within 30 days. After 30 days passed I wrote again....nothing. Then i called and again demanded my refund. And by the way when you call back to cancel all their associates are rude and jerky. About a week after this I got an email that said I'd have a refund within 30 days....but this was 30 days after my original request to cancel. But again I waited and it is now 45 days past the email when they said they were refunding me and nothing! I finally called my credit card company who is going to dispute it for me....which will mean dispute charges for the company. I'm not worried about getting my refund because I have everything in writing and dated...but it has been incumbent upon me to chase it down. As one last shot I called the Your Vacation Destination line again and got someone named Larry Nelson. When I told him how upset I was that I had to be chasing this down after all this time he got kind of snippy with me. He ultimately looked into it. When he first got on the phone he told me I hadn't cancelled within the 7 day grace period. But when I told him I had and I had it in writing in emails he changed his tune and said "oh, I must have been looking at the wrong account". He went away again and when he came back he said that yes I was entitled to a refund. Live and learn for me..but I would encourage you to not make the same mistake....take it from mine. Just hang up if/when they call and for heaven's sake, DON'T give them your credit card number! Oh and one side note. The charge shows up on your credit card from ARAVE LIVESTOCK and the merchant information says "Freezer and Locker Meat Provisioners". Nothing legit about this vacation company at all. STAY AWAY! If you have purchased one of these packages and are afraid because of the other posts, please read this one. Your Vacation Destination (YVD) is a marketing company for another vacation booking company, but we did not find this to be a scam and DID receive what we were told. If you don't want a sales pitch then do not buy a marketing package. If you bought it, enjoy the trip. They do give you what you've been promised. The sales man from YVD caught me at a weak moment and I purchased a package, I'm not sure why I bought it, but I did. We booked a trip and although the booking process could have been smoother, the trip itself was fine. There were a few things that could have been done better, but the hotel (Ballys) was fine, our room was clean and big, and the hotel people were accommodating. A driver picked us up and took us to the presentation and returned us to Bally's after the presentation. We enjoyed the remainder of the stay walking the strip, looking at the casinos, we also rented a car and drove to Death Valley. We received the meal and show vouchers after the presentation as advertised, we got the additional tickets, and we received the vouchers for the other trips as promised. We have not yet taken those other trips. We ate at Pampas, the meal voucher was for $60 and the meal was amazing. We saw the V - variety show that was fun. Overall we had a very good time! When we checked in, a Caesars club card that was good for reduced prices at Caesar's facilities was waiting at the desk. There were some additional fees: at the hotel there was a daily casino fee for use of the pool and internet, and the additional show tickets required purchase of a $9.95 drink. At the restaurant and the theater they gave us the option to upgrade but there was no problem when we declined those offers. You should be aware that promotional slot play is like monopoly money and you play until you are even unless you hit the big jackpot, then you get $100. We are not gamblers and except for the promotional slot play, we didn't, but there is so much to see that the city is still fun! The next day, I printed the contract, and thought about what I had just bought for $299.00, and decided to cancel. I looked at my credit card account and realized they had charged me TWICE!? I called them right away to let them know and they promised to credit my account back, that's when I started questioning this company. I cancelled the package as stated on the contract in a timely manner. A few days later, I did see that one of those charged was credited back on my account. I then waited the 30 days for them to credit me back the second charge. That was Nov. of 2014, It is now July of 2015 and have been fighting them to get my money back, calling numerous times a week, never receiving a call back, and when I finally talk to Deborah, she promises me I will get the money. 8 months have gone by and still my refund is not here!! I just returned from Las Vegas after purchasing a package from Vacation Destinations. Do Not purchase this package! We did have our very nice Hotel room. However, there were plenty of available rooms and we could have secured that ourselves for the same price or less. Our coupon package was not at the desk when we arrived. After calling numerous times someone dropped them off at the desk and they weren't the same ones we had requested. All of the coupons that we were given had a catch.....buying $16.00 drinks & paying handling and resort fees- NOT one of them were "free"! The restaurant coupon was for $100 off after spending $200. The MacKing show tickets were also given to us by the hotel and people were giving them away on the sidewalk...expensive drinks required first. The 7 night getaway that we also purchased for an additional $100 is a huge scam. The certificate explains all the rules which ends up being $535 for a studio apt. I was told by one of their reps that I could cancel without having my card charged. That was a lie. Now they have charged me and I am attempting to get a refund. First they said I would be refunded "immediately." Then I was told that refunds don't go out until the end of the month which was 2/28. Monday, 3/2, they give me a bogus transaction number. I called them back. NOW they say the money was refunded on 2/20 and they gave me another bogus transaction number. Stay away! I just hope I get my money back. read more

Not only I have been charged TWICE but I have not seen any refunds (after canceling during the allowed cancelation period) nor have they returned my calls or emails. My first experience trying a book the 3-night stay with them at a hotel on the strip was learning that it would take up to 72 hours to hear back from the booking department. I only had 5 days to cancel this package so after the first 72 hours without hearing from them, I called again and learned that I would have to pay an additional $200 to $300 for my visit to stay at a 3-star hotel on the strip during off season. I immediately saw the red flag and cancelled that same day. Since then, I've called them numerous times and emailed them with no luck. I left several messages and I still haven't heard back. I decided to call from a different number and miraculously they answered right away. After I explained what had happened and asked why they had not returned my calls, the lady simply hang up on me. I got their number to call back - i talked to a manager and asked many questions that i thought were answered very skillfully. I WAS SCAMMED!! Was promised $100 in dining - $100 in slot play - and 4 x show tickets. i guess for the original $299 that did seem to be a good deal. Made the room virtually free. i booked it andabout 2.5 weeks later Sherry calls me to say that i would have to pay another $150 because it was conference season and now she was offering me more! another $100 in slot play and some vacation packages. I went for it bacause i could no longer get any good package deals on the interne.t I thought in the beginning it was The Linq calling me, because of their grand opening, until i dug a little further. Told them i was planning the trip to take my 21 year old daughter for her birthday and meeting a friend from the U.S. No talk of a husband - EVER! They said they would get me a great room since it was a special occasion and we were booked in for the opening day of The Linq. The room was overlooking the parking lot and was quite small. We did get a certificate showing that we were the first guests to stay in that room. Perfect! Booked the appt to pick up my FREE coupons ( at GLOBAL EXOTIC DESTINATIONS ) booked for 9 am the next morning. Got there on my own and sat down with a guy that looked llike he slept in his suit - maybe he did! Talked for a few minutes and then someone else came over to say that i had to leave because my husband wasn't there. I told him that my husband was never coming on this trip and he told me to leave - rudely - and that they couldn't 'tour me'. I was dumbfounded because at no time did i mention that a husband would be on this trip - to anyone. I left and called my rep at YOur Vacation Destination and of course she wasn't there. i talked to a SHELLY who listened to my story and said she would call back - she didn't. I called back and asked for the manager again - KENNETH - well he didn't work there any longer now the manager is SHERRY and she doesn't work weekends. Then talked to SHELLY and could easily hear that she was getting angry with me. She again said she would call back and of course didn't. Called back again and to my surprise - no one was available to take my call but they would take a message. They didn't call me back . Called again - now this was the last day of our vacation - and talked to some guy - didn't get his name cause it really doesn't matter - he promised to call back until SHERRY butted into our conversation yelling and accusing me of lieing and threatening me of a lawsuit. We received a phone solicitation on February 26th of 2014. Based on the callers assurances and presentation, we purchased the package. When we received the actual information, it was not consistent with the callers information, so we cancelled within the allotted time and in the method prescribed. When we did not receive a refund within the prescribed time, we contacted the company by email and phone, and were assured by Larry Nelson that our refund would be provided.
