Poor business practices!! Renter beware. Rented a cabin in Running Springs, CA from these people through Airbnb for June 29 2017-July 2,2017. Advised them there would be three adults and an infant. Tuesday night prior to our stay (the 27th), I was contacted by the host with the following message: "Hi --- We have been informed there is a wild fire in the mountains and the street to get to the cabin is currently closed. We will keep you informed, you may stay at a later date if unable to get to the cabin on Thursday. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thank you!" I responded that I was sorry to hear about the fire and hopes they would be able to get it under control soon and that we would make other arrangements as we could not wait until we arrived in California (as we were coming from Florida and traveling with an infant, which they already knew) to see whether house was accessible, and what did I need to do do obtain a refund. While waiting for a response, we booked a couple hotel rooms that night as there were very few left in that area, and hardly any hotels. No response until around noon EST the following day when I was advised by the host that the road was open "for now" and that they would keep me updated if that changed, but could still check us in on Thursday "for now" (whatever that means). He also added that even if the house is inaccessible on the day of check in, they do not issue refunds and instead they would hold our deposit for a year and allow us to rebook the property. No joke. I ended up calling Airbnb who reviewed our communications and gave us a full refund. Stay away from these people! read more

I've rented from Vegas Getaways on many occasions. Always a different house. Every home we stayed was very clean. With updated appliances. clean backyards with pools. I will always stay at one of their homes when I need too. read more

We had a contract to rent a 5 bedroom 3 bath home with AirBNB on 07-8-15 for 09-24-15 - 09-28-15 in las vegas. We received a receipt with instructions on how to enter the home (8876 Fort Crestwood Drive). We paid the $1500 and was informed that our host was Las Vegas Getaways and we could contact Jennifer at 702-425-7769. On 09-17-15 we received a friendly reminder about our upcoming reservation and that if we canceled we would forfeit 50% of our money. Jenifer contacted us on 09-18 after 5 p.m. via email (why she didn't call us given we were set to arrive less than 7 days later). See email below: Hi, I need to move your reservation. The home you rented is in need of some water damage repair from a guest. Here is the link. This home is only 5 min from the one you had currently rented but it is smaller. You will get a refund of the price difference. Reservations Dept We only had till Monday to decide. She credited us $261 (difference) and threw in the jacuzzi ($25 a day). We felt force to take house or risk finding 3 hotel rooms at the last minute. It was a great hardship for us given we had to sleep with one another. We reluctantly took the house in the short notice. We arrived to Las Vegas and we drove by the house we were suppose to be in and to our dismay there were people in the home partying. We were mortified. We took pictures of the cars in the driveway. I called Jennifer on 09-29-15 and asked her about the status of the home. She was very pleasant. She stated that the house was out of commission and she had pictures to prove it. Well I informed her that we went by the house and saw people in the home. She told me she would look into it and call me back. Needless to say, I hae not received a return call. I called her on 09-30, 10-1, 10-5 and she has not returned any of my calls. I have left messages for Anthony (CEO) and he has not returned my calls either. I was requesting 50% of the reservation based on AIRBNB cancelation policy. Had we cancelled in less than 7 business days, we would have forfeited 50% of our money. We were lied to about the house. It was available and that we were forced into a smaller home to accomodate another party. read more

This company is a SCAM!!!! I rented a vacation home from this company September 11-September 14 2015, Property #454647. The house was okay. The shower knobs where impossible to turn on because it was broken. The pool was dirty. They provide you with inaccurate internet info (password and ID). They give you one thin comforter for each bed. So prepare to be freezing your asses off at night. The houses smell like smoke. Its about $25 cab ride one way to get to the strip, which adds up quickly. It took us an hour and a half to get a taxi from the house because no one wants to come that far. Be Aware: The company will charge you $100 for "Refundable" Damage Deposit upfront. Which is just ridiculous. Oh they will also slap on $59 damage deposit that is not refundable. They will charge you upfront saying it's "refundable", which is a LIE. I called them to ask about it after a week and they told me that they are going to keep the money because we smoked in the house, which is a LIE!!! They said that they have pictures to prove it (pictures that the cleaning ladies took). 1) Nobody smoked in the house!!! They can even look at the outside camera to verify that everyone was smoking outside in the patio. 2) How in the hell are you going to say "we have evidence of you smoking in the house" with pictures that were taken by the cleaning ladies? Where the cleaning ladies inside the house during our stay?? The pictures they are referring to by the way is a picture of an ash tray that we used outside. We brought in the ash tray inside the house right before we left the property, and to them that is evidence of us smoking inside the house. RIDICULOUS!!!! They don't have a picture of us smoking inside the house or a picture of any cigar burns to properties and they have cameras showing that we smoked outside of the house during our stay BUT because they have a picture of ash trays they are going to charge us. RIDICULOUS!!!! Clearly there is something wrong with their heads. 3) how is smoking in the house considered damage exactly?? 4) Why is it that they bring up this "issue" after I called them? They said they will send me an email with the evidence but never did because there was no evidence. They just wanted to keep the money. HORRIBLE customer service. They don't want to deal with you after they have taken your money. Long story short do yourself a favor, and save your self the headache and time and stay away from VEGAS GETAWAYS!!! Book through someone else because they will rip you off! And supposedly they have done this to many people. I wish I can give them 0 stars because they are horrible company!! read more

We elected to use AirBNB for rental of a home in Vegas two months prior to our vacation. Vegas Getaways was the third party (renter on behalf of the homeowner) that provided the home. The property that we ultimately were provided was actually nice and accurately depicted, it was clean and equipped as described. The issue I have is this is the property we were given was not the home that we elected to rent and paid for two months prior. Vegas Getaways 6 days prior (on a Friday after 5 p.m. via email) to our arrival cancelled our selected rental and substituted with another one. Given the short timeframe and the expenses already put out by our group and additional expenses that would have been incurred with seeking new accommodations elsewhere at the last minute, we had no choice but to take the new house offered. The house was 1500 square feet less and did not have enough beds/rooms to accommodate the entire group. Again although not ideal we had no choice but to accept. We were advised that our original rental had water damage thus was unavailable to us. Reasonably we could understand that there are things beyond everyone's control so although upset we tried to understand and make the needed adjustments in order to still enjoy our vacation. Here's the kicker we decided to go by the original house we elected to rent to compare but to our surprise there were two cars in the driveway, lights on, people moving about and a party going on inside. So much for the water damage and the uninhabitable condition. Since returning from our trip we have attempted to bring our concern to Vegas Getaways in addition to requesting some compensation with Jennifer to only be told the we were accommodated and we will call you back once we check into this. No one has called back yet. A call was also put into Anthony, CEO and he has yet to call back either. I held off on this review in an effort to give them a chance to remedy the situation but it has been two nearly two weeks and obviously we will get nowhere. this is why we have gone to yelp and the Better Business Bureau to voice our concerns. I feel we are entitled to compensation because if we had cancelled with them on the same date and time according to the cancellation policy we would have only been entitled to 50% of our money back. This reservation was made two months in advance and we were entirely disappointed that six days later we were duped. First , just so people know the woman Named Jessica K who is the only 5 star rating is the wife of the owner of the company . So that should give you a good example of how the business in run from the inside . Second , run far from this business ; obviously the goal of every business is to have an end high yield and customer satisfaction all at once . This business though , has a great yield due to its over charging clients and the workers in the back of it all ; which by the way are all paid under the table . Tisk tisk. read more
