Don't waste your time going to this location. I went to get a SIM card replacement and the lady at the counter claimed "we don't do that here" she said we had to go corporate. I told her that my husband had the same problem 2 weeks ago and they fixed it for him. Then she changed your tone and said "well it will be $20 to change it" so the gentleman with her began to fix my SIM card. After fixing my SIM card he didn't charge anything so assumed she was lying. Now today my husband goes to return their WiFi boxes because we thought we'd give it a try. And she is in there again and makes the same claim "we don't do that here" when we got the boxes from them. And we're told to return them in store within 30 days if we did not like them. read more

I went today and had a good experience...maybe they've changed the staff from the bad reviews. AJ helped my mom and me out, and it was fairly painless. He was patient with us and we got our bill lowered and also got new phones. I didn't get the same experience as the other reviewers. Update- as other reviewers said, these folks will add in little "extra" charges. I was told I had about $100 in "taxes". When I went home to review the bill, there were two $40 charges for "transfers". When I asked what this was, it was a few to import contacts to new phones. That service was not done- I use iCloud, and it's all stored on the cloud. No need to transfer contacts over! I've changed my review to 1 star. I don't understand why people can't just give honest service these days? read more

DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION! I take my 70 year old mother in law I'm go purchase a new phone she had the phone 6 and was switching to the iPhone XS. RJ the rep in the store stated that he would do a 100 credit for her returning the iPhone 6 and another 100 in promotions. He stated that with all of this she would pay 111$ in store that day for the taxes on the new phone and then her monthly bill would only increase 12$ per month. WOW was that wrong! Her bill went from 138$ to 217$ he charged for SYNCING the contacts and didn't tell us, he added insurance to the plan, and changed the GB. After calling Verizon customer service she managed to get the bill down and refund for syncing contacts. I then went in to talk to the MANAGER of the store who told me to come back when RJ was in and take it up with him, he was rude to the customer service for Verizon on the phone and confused the heck out of both of us. FINALLY I told him I wanted nothing to do with him or his store that tries to TAKE ADVANTAGE OF EDERLY people. He was the rudest manager and I have ATT, I'd rather deal with ATT any day than this awful manager! read more

This is the most helpful verizon location around. I dread going to any other location the guys here are extremely helpful. They go above and beyond. I recently switched over to verizon and they made the process super simple. I am a little technologically challenged and dont know how to transfer information or submit the necessary forms for the promotions. STAY AWAY FROM THIS STORE! I came into this store on 09-27-19 to add a phone onto my account. Prior to shopping at this establishment I wish I would have read the reviews here on Yelp!While purchasing a phone I was told by RJ ,the sales associate, that I only had to pay for the sales tax on the phone. I conducted my transaction and returned home. Once home, I carefully reviewed my receipt and found I was charged a $40 "programming fee." There was nothing to program. I bought a new phone and added the line to my Verizon account. I then came here and looked at all of the other reviews stating that this location constantly likes to "add on" fees and services that they do not provide. I contacted Verizon Wireless to confirm why I was charged a 40 dollar fee to add a line. The response from Verizon was that they did not know, and added that it was perhaps a retail store (non Verizon) specific charge. I immediately went back to the store and spoke with RJ. He told me the the programming fee was "what all Verizon stores charge for adding a phone to your account." Keep in mind that I had just contacted Verizon customer service and confirmed this information was erroneous. I confronted RJ about his dishonesty and I told him I wanted to speak with a manager. I was pointed in the direction of a young man at a service kiosk. I explained that I wanted to talk about the programming fee. He told me that the programming fee would only be applicable if the employees there had assisted me in setting up my new phone. KEEP THAT IN MIND IF YOU WANT TO EVER SHOP HERE AFTER READING THIS REVIEW. THIS STORE WILL CHARGE YOU 40 DOLLARS FOR TELLING YOU TO UTILIZE iCloud TO SET UP YOUR NEW PHONE! The manager observed that the phone was still in a factory sealed box and that I had not utilized their proprietary expert advice on using iCloud to set up my new phone. I demanded a refund . RJ initiated a refund while I regaled him with all of the negative reviews on this site that specifically mention him and AJ. RJ again tried to explain that he told me that I was being charged "taxes and fees." I received my refund, and I provided a colorful retort to RJ for his B.S. about "fees." It's very unfortunate that businesses and employees will stoop to such low levels of deceit to make a dollar, or in my case 40. Don't shop here, go to a Verizon store instead of an authorized retailer. I am forwarding my experience directly to Verizon and to the Better Business Bureau if greater Houston, TX! read more

We came in to upgrade my wife's phone and get a new plan. It was going great until the sales associate mentioned that I might want to upgrade my own phone as well because it's several years old and I could get in on the upgrade discount we were getting with my wife's phone. I was torn because I had decided to wait on an upgrade to the Pixel 6. When I brought that up, the sales associate proceeded to belittle my choice in a Google phone. When I told him that I liked the phone he continued to try to upsell the Samsung. I asked if Verizon or his manager told him to say those things. He said no, they are his views. I don't know if I believe him. We promptly walked out and will not be coming back. read more

To whom it may concern; A few months back, we (my wife & I) moved our cell service from Sprint to Verizon. We weren't upset with Sprint for anything service related that they could control. My neighborhood just doesn't get good cell reception, really from anyone, but we had heard that Verizon was the best of the bunch. So we changed to Verizon & I would have to say that through the change process their interest level in our business was mild at best & the overall attitude on display was poor. They did complete the transactions, but not with much energy. I recently went back to get a screen protector replaced & they were not open at 10, but they were sitting in their cars in the parking lot. I followed them in a few minutes later. Didn't get their names but a young black man was the one who grudgingly helped me. I was in & out pretty quickly & the screen replacement was successful. Just thought someone in your company should know that these two employees of yours are not making a good impression. On the other hand the Sprint guys across the street were all over me the couple of times that I had gone into their store. I think you could classify me as an unimpressed new customer. read more

Stay away from this store unless you want to get ripped off. This is not a corporate store so they can nickel and dime you whereas the corporate ones can't. We were trying to transfer everything off our old phone to our new phone and activate it. We had a very bad experience and the sales rep was ripping us off by selling us a SIM card for $20 (these are free from all corporate stores), after mentioning that other stores provide them for free, he dropped the price to $10. When I told him to place the sim from the old phone to the new one, he said it won't fit. After insisting, he reluctantly obliged and lo and behold the SIM card went in! It's absurd to think he didn't know the older phones SIM card wouldn't fit into the newer one so I'm inclined to say he was lying to make a quick buck. Nothing rubs me the wrong way more than people lying and so I won't be coming here anymore. Go at your own risk. read more

Terrible customer service! They don't want to deal with issues and tell you there is nothing they can do to help! Lies, lies, lies..... They are just plain lazy! Punt you to customer service. Verizon customer service was very helpful but my issue could have been quickly resolved in the store if they would just do their job! Not my first problem with this store, but now I will never go back there!! Telling everyone I know and let Verizon know as well. I hope Verizon pulls their name from that store! read more

Kimby is right these people are crooks and bad business ... they dropped my husband's new phone that I took there for them to port his phone number over and cracked the screen in the corner I saw him rubbing the plastic on the screen but didn't think anything of it. .. well I brought it home in the box took it out and low and behold the screen in the corner was cracked I took it back and all I heard were lies. They didn't fix it and said I did it. But I didn't. Bad people do not go there .... before that I bought a usb cord for my phone that he swore was the right one ... nope it wasn't. Not a Verizon corporate store, but they are all nice and act like there isn't a difference. They can't help you or accept promotional deals, don't honor things advertised by Verizon and make life extremely difficult when trying to return or exchange anything.
