There were many activities: rides, kiddie car race, hay maze, spooky maze, and a projection for movie viewing. They also had a variety of food vendors and an adult beverage stand. My god daughter said she has a great time and absolutely loved the spooky maze. After we finished all the activities, we were famished and decided to eat there. We had the birria ramen, ramen tacos, and then got a vanilla chocolate dipped ice with rainbow sprinkles and a cheesecake on a stick with almond toffee. All in all, we had a great time. Very family and kid friendly.

Once at the entrance, you are scan your ticket and parking with a parking attendant. There is parking available on site, depending on the day and whether it is sold out. It's a good idea is buy parking ahead of time or you will be forced to park in the residential area. The farm is huge and everything is spread out, so expect a lot of walking. You are given a map of the festival. It can be a little hard to follow since not everything is cleared labeled outside the map. The farm has designated areas, such as the shops, food, and activities. Everything is on theme of lavender: food, drinks, and merch. Some that stood out to me is the matcha room, flower market, the blacksmith shop, and a coffee shop. There is 123 merch at some shops and local vendors selling their art work. Theres vendors selling candies, crochet, book marks, crystals, etc. Although the festival entry is at 5, most shops and vendors do not open until 6. Through the farm, there are workers around. However, some can be unfriendly. There are bathrooms and no porta potties! In the food area, there is pizza, sandwiches, carne asada fries, bbq. I ordered from the grill and got a steak sandwich (minus the bread) and they were very accommodating. I received a buzzer and my order did not take long. Dessert, there is ice cream, funnel cake, cheesecake, pies. There are a ton of beverage options besides coffee and matcha, like lemonade and alcohol. There is a stage for live music and lots of seating for eating. Music acts are listed online and on the map. There alot of spots for photo ops and there is also a Photo Booth! Such a great place, I've been to events at the 123 farm and I always enjoy it.

But back to the review, please take time to go on the first week of May! There was around 500 vendors, I might be wrong but it was about six blocks full of fun things to be found. They do need some more things for men but then again, women are more in to shopping as a collective. If you love jewelry, small business finds, and food, it's definitely something I will be coming back for. I can't wait to go next year and replenish my earring collection. Majority of the vendors that are regulars didn't have anything set up last night. I was hoping to pick up some houseplants but the vendor wasn't there. Guess with the heat, it's not good for the plants to be out. Rightfully with that. But it did seem like the food area did have more vendors compared to what I've seen before. Usually walking along the strip, it tends to be packed with vendors and shoppers but the past few weeks, not so many. Summer tends to be quiet as people do leave town. The snowbirds going back to Canada. Even restaurants close for the summer season. Same with the vendors here, some comes every other week while there's still the regulars that comes every week. Small local vendors trying to get their product out there. They have the locals vendors that I frequent for my baked goods and sweets. It's a nice little shopping and food area that's great for a Thursday night. Restaurant and shops do open a little later for the event. It was quite hot last night so a lot of vendors weren't out. But once it starts to cool down again, it'll get busier.

Once a year, usually on the third Saturday of September, the city of München goes crazy…read more Once a year, we in the US try to copy our Bayern friends.... from Cincinnati Ohio to Fredericksburg Texas and now ... Temecula California. Europa Winery has caught the Wiesn fever. We came here last evening and enjoyed ourselves, along with a few hundred of our friends. The food was very good. Ron, the Executive Chef who worked for many years in the Bavaria city of Nürnberg, cooked up a storm. He served up Wurst, Brezel, Sauerbraten, Spätzle, Kartoffelsalat, Sauerkraut, Kartoffelpuffer, Schokoladenkuchen and lots of Bier und WeißWein (photos). Sehr lecker! Delicious! We sat in the Europa Village wine club tent C'est La Vie. Everyone was at communal tables of twelve, which made for lots of fun. Some of the guests even dressed up in genuine Dirndl and Lederhosen. Nice! Europa Village went all out. There was live music from an accordion player, who was really into it. We had fun imagining we were back in the Hacker-Pschorr and Spaten tents of our youth. As they use to say: "Lass dir raten, trinke Spaten!" We cannot wait until next year. Prost!

This dynamic is welcomed to most people because they get to socialize and buy more then just fresh fruits and veggies. The only thing I am critical about is the organization of the booth space that allows the flow of people in better safety and comfort. I assume there was some store front push back that wanted 100% of there sidewalk available and clear surfing the market but what that has done has jammed too many people in what is obviously a "narrow space" to walk. It would be a fair and SAFE compromise to use 50% of the sidewalks on each side and adjust back the venders booths giving people 5 feet more in the middle to walk around. It would be easier to do this rather then assume or ask people to not stand around creating bottlenecks or be considerate of others and move like a car on a road. Expect to drive around for parking if you are not local enough to walk to the event and crowding due to the popular area it is in, live music, fresh foods and drinks as well as plenty of unique crafts and clothing.
