I was at a store next-door to this business so I decided to drop in and see what they had. So I looked through the various racks of clothing and women's purses, etc. I ended up purchasing two sport tank tops. One was a Nike and another one was an Eddie Bauer. After the 40% off, I believe my purchase came to around $12. They have a wide selection of clothing, but quite a few of it was not my style. I believe this shop is for women that are probably late 30s and older. I tend to buy more clothing that is current with the trends as long as they look nice on me and I only saw a few jeans and a couple shirts that looked a little bit more modern. The shop was busy and the sales lady was exceptional in helping anyone that needed it. I would say the reason I did not give it a five star, is that there were several shirts that I looked at and I was interested in but they had stains on them. The clothing looked clean and pressed, but they probably should not have accepted those items for resale. This is a resell women's clothing store. It seems like they have quite a few 40 to 50% off sales. When I was checking out, she was telling me that there was going to be a 50% off sale the next day.

We had a lovely experience at this thrift shop. Tons of clothing options! The prices are a little more at the higher end for secondhand, but still reasonable. You can tell the staff care about the selection of items they curate. There was a fairly decent array of sizes. They were very kind at checkout as well. I only had one frustration, and that was that the only mirrors were in the dressing rooms. They should have a mirror available for trying on blazers/overcoats in the store so that you don't have to wait for the dressing room line.

I got the MOST amazing dress here last summer! I love stopping by to chat with the shop's owner,…read moreAmy. She has a sweet style herself and always answers questions about the clothes and jewelry. I have a ton of questions because there is a huge selection. On the first Saturday of each month, they participate in a special event and have free bites and drinks in the back section of the shop, so I always make sure to stop in then. They also have a small vinyl collection and I found a sweet Cannonball Adderley record there. I'm a sucker for vintage jazz records and they have a nice smattering from American and Kansas City greats. If you are in the area, it's a must do.

That was definitely the vibe here. And hey, awfully neat stuff. I know the couple behind the place a little and they are quite the St. Joe entrepreneurs. It's pretty well impossible to respond to knowing Amy and Brian Meyers at all without resorting to just rooting all out for them to succeed at their mission of revitalizing downtown St. Joe. But you know how there are places you WANT to like and root for and all that but... yeah, they aren't places you would take someone from out of town, right? Well, I took my fiance from New Zealand to The Lucky Tiger and was so glad I did. Not just a great little local business, but lots and lots of stuff that looked very good to both of us. So I would recommend a browse- what have you got to loose except some guilt over contributing to Wal Mart?

They have some nice jeans and dresses, also. Most of their clothes are generally upper brands, and designer. Personally I like thrift stores like this. A cute pair of pink flats caught my eye, and accessories. It's a cute little shop, so don't expect huge. The staff are very nice, and I like what Heartstrings do. I could've spent alot of money there, which seems to be the case on both sides of Santa Fe in downtown Overland Park, in all the stores and restaurants. Sacks is a thrift store, owned by Heartstrings. http://www.heartstringscf.org/history.asp. I will go back, just to see what they have. It's one of those stores, if you see something right then, you should get it, cause it won't be there the next time you go.

Sells stuff you can find at target, walmart, jcpenny, etc. Prices are okay. Overall nothing to write home about in terms of what they have to offer. Store is blatantly religiously affiliated, if that matters to any potential customers, and they will be playing christian radio stations. My biggest gripe with this business is the uncomfortable customer service experience. The person working the counter claimed i "messed up the racks" by looking at items? I was the only customer in the store at the time, but I wasnt ripping through racks by any means and actively made sure to leave items/racks how they were, so i genuinely dont understand what this comment was made for. It felt uncomfortable and inappropriate to be addressed this way, almost in a disciplinary manner. I absolutely understand wanting to keep the store organized and being upset that you just finished reorganizing things, but this is a store where people will be shopping. If you cant handle people simply looking at clothes, then maybe you shouldnt own/work a clothing store ! (: Due to the lack of vintage clothing and the unnecessary comments made by the attendant, I wont be back
