I only write reviews once in a blue moon and not one in quite recent memory. Due to my hectic schedule, it must be a very compelling reason for me to write one. Justifiably so, this review about Yoyo's Tree Professional, tree-cutting service met this criteria and this one certainly 'passing with flying colors'. It really 'makes a huge difference' when the concern professional is doing "hands on service" be in the area of supervising, coordinating and even doing the required job on his own. The owner of the service, Ramiro is the primary professional doing the service and he ensures that top quality work is rendered by being there all the way from start-to-finish. When my humongous Bradford tree (14 years-old) got weather-battered multiple times and now posed hazardous conditions I have to make a decision to part ways with it. I have the usual apprehensions about tree limbs that when cut - just randomly falls everywhere on life, property or limb so to speak, or leaving an ugly stump or dangerous protusion, but what I got was a thing of beauty (just visualize a surgical cut) after my frontyard tree was slashed off by Ramiro. Ramiro's crew also cleaned the vicinity and hauled away the tree and its remnants free of charge. I'm so glad we found YoYo's & Ramiro! Our yard, trees & shrubs look great! YoYo's now has the distinction for being the very first CL hire which has ever gone according to plan. Ramiro restored a bit of my faith in hiring folks to help on the ranch through social media. He quoted a *very* reasonable price, showed up as planned & completed quality work ahead of schedule, even with a small rain delay! Ramiro was polite, punctual & professional bringing all the appropriate equipment to the job (no running off mid-job for materials/tools) including a trailer for loading and removing all limbs & clippings. The yard, walkways & porches were left clear & clean. I have been trying to find people to get the trees done since March. 4 people came in March, and had to chase them for written quotes, and none were given. One of them accepted the quote and never showed up to work 3 times. I gave up and started again looking for someone this month. I called YOYO, and Ramiro came the next day. He came early for the appointment, and gave a reasonable quote to cut and trim 3 big oak trees 15 ft away from my house, and a couple of small trees branches close to the house. He detailed which branches needed to be cut and why. They(Ramiro and one other worker) started work Friday, came early again, and they were efficient and they know what they are doing. They use rope to haul the cut branches, so it won't damage the roof. They are great professionals, they respect people's time and did a great job. Ramiro and his team at YoYo's Tree Professionals are fantastic. They have cut our trees for years and do a great job and at a much more reasonable price than any other tree service we used prior to finding YoYo's. Always show up when they are scheduled, work incredibly fast, clean up all the branches and remove from property. Very professional, take covid precautions, can handle huge oaks with dead branches close to house safely. Also knowledgeable regarding fire mitigation practices which we appreciate living in Bastrop county with high wildfire risk. Ramiro quotes a fair price and sticks with it, unlike other tree services. For the free estimate, Ramiro arrived on time and was very thorough at explaining his work and the approach he was going to take toward my trees -- he knows trees, and you can tell by the way he describes them. That evening, he emailed me a .pdf of the estimate with the specific breakdown and cost. If tree trimming were an olympic sport, YoYo's would be contenders. I have several large, tall trees with heavy limbs hanging over my house's roof. I had put off trimming for a while because I was concerned about damage to the roof and injuries if the tree trimmer wasn't very super skilled. Over the years I've used a few different tree trimming services, and they were all pretty good, but YoYo's Tree Professionals came recommended by a neighbor so we gave them a call. They visited, educated us regarding the options, and gave us a fair price. Ramiro did a really nice job for us. He took down two large trees and hauled them off. It wasn't an easy job. Both trees were leaning on fences, and one of them was tangled up with a neighbor's tree. The price was excellent compared to other bids received. Ramiro quickly responded to calls and texts, and he always showed up on time or early.
